We busted the rear window of our truck on Saturday morning, the day before Easter. I called my insurance company to report it. They got us on touch with Safelite. The earliest Safelite could get to us was the following Monday between noon & 5 pm. On Monday morning i got an email from Safelite reconfirming the appointment, never heard from them again. We live in a very rural area, far from the city, so to speak. By 3:40 pm I started to get a little curious about the appointment so I called the 1800800 number. I spoke with a lady & she confirmed that we were 5th on the list & the technician would be there by 5. At 5:09 pm I still had not heard anything from Safelite so I called the number again, this time I got a recording stating they were closed & to call back the next day. I went online to see if I could get an update but when I logged in they didn't have my information in their system. So I figured we were blown off, so to speak. At 7:08 pm Monday evening I received a call from the Safelite technician stating he was out front. As I was walking out to let him in I recieved a text stating the technician was on the way & was going to be here at 7 pm (the text came through at 7:09 pm). The technician said he had 7 customers today & he was supposed to be off at 5 pm but came anyways. When you read the email it gives you a break down on the procedures they go through, one of which is the technician is supposed to go through the process & describe what they are about to do. As well as vacuum all the glass & clean the windows. During the process the technician did vacuum a little, mainly because I had already vacuumed the inside of the truck. He never went through the process when he got there. We had a difficult time communicating with the technician because he didn't speak English. When he was finishing i looked in the back of the truck & there was still glass from when the technician broke the remaining glass from the edges. I asked if he was going to vacuum it as well as the bed of the truck. He started to get an attitude pointing at his watch. When I reminded him it was part of the service he started to express his frustrations in Spanish. I grew up in Miami so I know what profanities are in Spanish & the technician was cussing up a storm. He never offered to clean the windows, when he set the glass he used the palm of his hand to get the glue to grab. Now there are many palm & finger prints all over the glass. I will never use Safelite again & will never recommend them to anyone. Very poor customer service all around.

One of the worst Customer Service experiences with my entire life. Took 10 days for them to finally schedule my appointment to replace my rear glass. Mind you my car was exposed to the elements for 10 days because my house is being renovated and I did not have access to a garage. And they knew this. That insult to injury. My appointment was scheduled for Tuesday, May 27 and the technician did not show up did not call did not update notify no communication and I waited eight hours for the technician was put on hold for over 45 minutes and was finally told that the technician should be arriving anytime soon. The technician never arrived. Was told to wait the next day from 8 AM to noon again the technician did not show up did not contact me or call. Thursday I was on hold for another 45 minutes with their customer care team and was told the part should arrive soon and to expect a phone call from the local shop to schedule the installation. Was never contacted again then on Friday I called and waited again for about 30 minutes on hold and was finally told the technician would be out on Friday from 8 AM to noon. Around 1:30 PM After numerous phone calls asking for an update the technician showed up and finally installed my rear window. I changed two flights, missed one meeting at work and paid somebody $400 to wait a total of 16 hours at my home for the technician on Tuesday and Wednesday for a no-show. Safelite reduced $100 off Only and still was never contacted me. I was never contacted with an apology or told what exactly happened. I would never recommend Safelite due to their lack of customer care customer service and follow up as well as communication. They cost me over $1500 in flight changes Due to their lack of Customer Service.

I scheduled an appointment and I had a technician Angel show up. I cannot express how happy I was with him. He was dressed professionally in a clean uniform, clean shoes etc. His work van was super clean and super organized. I pay attention to all details involved in any service I am receiving. There was another technician with him which I don't recall his name, but he was just as on point as Angel. The job was done right, quickly and effectively. If you're reading this and you schedule an appointment to have glass service on your vehicle I suggest you call in and ask if he is available, you won't regret it. It was really hot out today, no breeze, no clouds and Angel didn't stop to take a break. I've read some negative reviews on this particular shop, but I guess that goes on a personal experience level. I am super happy with Angel and his overall performance. Safelite, I don't know what you guys do over there, but you better keep this man well compensated he is truly an asset for your company. He replaced my windshield and rear drivers driverside window. If I had a business these are the type of guys I'd want on my team. 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

The tech made a mess in my interior, damaged a speaker grill and ripped of the passenger visor from the clips, and didn’t even come forward so I noticed when I was driving away. The manager “Cesar” at first seemed friendly and willing to help and said he would put me as priority, and after I had to go physically back a second time for an update (because it’s impossible to get them on the phone), he didn’t remember me at all so I took him to he car and he didn’t even remember the damage. He seems like an alcoholic and someone that doesn’t really care to be there. The commercials are nice and then when you actually go you realize it’s a disaster, from the work itself, to the morale of the employees. I decided to eat the cost of the repairs myself, because I don’t want them touching my car again (their warranty requires THEM to fix the things they break).

Just save your time, money and stress and don’t go to this Safelite location. Their customer service is extremely poor, they act like if they were doing you a favor, it’s impossible to call them. They installed an aftermarket windshield and couldn’t calibrate the safety system, then it took them one week to replace the windshield with an OEM one in order to calibrate the system. When I finally was able to pick up my vehicle it was raining so I jumped quickly into my vehicle and left. The next day I noticed that the hood of my vehicle is SEVERELY SCRATCHED! Good luck getting them to respond. The manager Cesar won’t return calls and his excuse is that they only have “one girl” working, like if that is the customer’s fault. They try to blame everything on the insurance.

I contacted Safelite regarding my cracked windshield. They initiated the payment process with my insurance company as the replacement and calibration were covered 100%. The windshield was replaced while at work as scheduled and on time. The calibration was attempted at my residence however could not be completed. I was contacted to schedule the calibration at a nearby Safelite location. When I arrived at the Miami office I was greeted by a friendly and professional receptionist. She provided me with the time frame for completion and I waited in a clean waiting area supplied with cold water, coffee, Phone chargers and first run movies. Work completed in 20 minutes. Week done “Safelite Repair Safelite Replace.”

This is my second experience with Safelite. The first one the New windshield leaked. When I reported it, they refused to come to my home as they had done in the initial installation. They made me come to their facility downtown. In the second experience the installer failed to adhere the Review mirror to the windshield. It was so loose as to render it.unusable and actually, it created a distraction. I texted the installer to report it and he said he would check with his supervisor and see when he could come fix it. I heard nothing for several days and I texted him again to ask him for his supervisor‘s name and number and have heard nothing. Terrible customer service terrible workmanship.

The service team did their job well. This review is all about safelite business practices. They are overloading their service team by booking more appointments than the service team can handle. I dropped my car off at 8am, then arrived at 4:50 pm because their website says they close at 5 and I couldn’t get a hold of anyone that works on property. All calls go to some off site call center. When I arrived I still had to wait another hour. The service team did their job well. But safelite needs to improve customer communication and probably needs to schedule better to help relieve stress they are putting on their service team

Buen servicio y professionalismo. Me acomodaron despues de haber perdido la cita y me informaron de cambios al reemplazo mediante el sitio web y hasta me llamo el technico, Cesar, para resolver mis dudas. 10/10 The staff was professional and gave great service, going as far to work me in, despite missing the appointment. I was updated on the progress of the replacement by the website and even went as far as getting a call from the technician, Cesar, to resolve my doubts. My windshield got replaced in less than a day and I couldn't be more grateful. 10/10

Horrible experience been almost 7 weeks. Keep getting a run around. They can’t find me a window for my car. They came out messed up. My driver side door panel scratched it. The shop that safely sent me to never answers. The phone spoke to the supervisor finally after seven weeks, never got another callback from him. The supervisor from Safelite spoke to. She said she was gonna keep me up-to-date with what was going on. Haven’t heard nothing back from her either horrible experience.
