I highly recommend Gulf Coast Auto Glass in Bradenton, FL. A+++++ customer service and installation of our new sunroof! We experienced a freak accident, when we were driving under the 75 Hwy overpass, and something flew over the side, and fell directly on top of our sunroof, smashing it. We were pretty shaken up, but thankfully not hurt. I put in a claim with our insurance company, and then started making phone calls to local glass companies, and to our car dealership. I spoke with Tracie at Gulf Coast Auto Glass, and she has a wealth of knowledge on how the replacement process works with the customer and insurance companies. I decided to go directly to Gulf Coast Auto Glass instead of the dealership, as my dealership doesn’t have an in-house glass shop, and it would have been subcontracted anyway. That saved me extra time, and leg work, by going directly to Gulf Coast Auto Glass. Tracie helped me navigate through the claims process, getting the new sunroof glass ordered through the insurance glass supplier, and delivered directly to Gulf Coast Auto Glass. Once the new sunroof arrived there, Tracie immediately called me to set up an appointment for installation. I arrived at my appointment time. Norman greeted me and got me right in. The glass tech (I didn’t get his name) took off the vinyl and duct tape we used to cover the sunroof until we got it into the shop. He vacuumed up all the broken glass on the sunshade, and installed the new sunroof within 20-30 minutes. It works and looks perfect, and not a speck of broken glass anywhere. Very honest and professional business! Also, if you get their voicemail when calling, leave a detailed message, and Tracie will get back to you in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Gulf Coast Auto Glass for any of your glass replacement needs. Thank you so much!!!

Cheap replacement and scammed my insurance ! I was told they were going to use a Tesla OE glass and they used a cheap aftermarket replacement! On top of that they are trying to charge my insurance company $5000 for a model 3 windshield! Don’t use this Glass company! They had to come back and remove the mirror to get off all the finger prints they left. Also they are trying to sue progressive for their insane prices that magically changed after they did the job! Unprofessional clowns. In the car business for 35 years and never had such scam artists to take advantage of an insurance company on top of Using aftermarket glass when I was told it was OE (original equipment). Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. My insurance when up as a result of a comprehensive claim because they charged $5,000 to replace windshield with a aftermarket. It already ( 4 months after) cracked because aftermarket is never the same as OE (original equipment). If your glass don’t say tesla on it it’s NOT ! Progressive mailed me a copy of the lawsuit from Gulf Coast Glass showing the $5000 2021 model 3 windshield! The free comprehensive glass coverage did raise my insurance due to the incredible price that they charge them.

I turned my glass claim in online with State Farm selecting Gulf Coast Auto Glass as my preferred repair facility on Memorial Day evening. I received a call first thing Tuesday morning confirming my claim, vehicle information and damage to the front wind shield. Gulf Coast sent a repair technician on Tuesday, the same day to verify which window my 2020 F350 had on it. They came to me!, the same day!! The window was ordered the same day and I received a call that evening requesting a time on Wednesday when they could install the new glass. The installation technician was on time, very professional and explained the replacement process to me in detail. Later that day, another technician had to re calibrate the automatic wiper sensors. That technician was making several stops that day, but gave me the cutesy of multiple phone calls letting me know when he would arrive to complete the work. I was very impressed with the outstanding customer service Gulf Coast Auto Glass provided me. I will let everyone know the kind of service Gulf Coast provides. Great job!! From the first call until the final install this company has been amazing. I wish every business were as professional, courteous, and friendly. I spoke with Tracy, who is exceptional. She setup a three-way call with my insurance company and helped with providing all of the necessary info to get approval. I got an appointment within a couple of days. The installers, Norman and Ken, were on time and finished the work promptly. Unfortunately the windshield they had received and installed was found to have a scratch in it (one that I would've not seen without them pointing it out). They took the time to explain the situation and within minutes I had a call from Tracy to schedule a replacement. Again, they were prompt and conscientious. I've used the national companies in the past and never been satisfied. They lack customer service, pride in their work, and personal care. I will never use them again and, if needed, my first and only call will be to Gulf Coast Auto Glass.

UPDATE: Norman, Kenny, & Tracie are the best in the biz. Would change my 5 Star rating to 10 if I could. They exhibit integrity, honesty, & extreme customer service in addition to skill. Made some additional, significant requests of them and they came through with flying colors. Do yourself a favor, skip the nationwide installers and dealerships. This local company will take great care of you. Highly recommended. I was stressing trying to determine who to trust with my Tesla windshield. Almost every company, including well-known names and Tesla itself, had way more than incidental negative reviews. But not Gulf Coast. Their reviews are great. And, from the first phone call they were professional, friendly, and did everything they said they would. From handling insurance to getting the job done with minimal downtime, this was the easiest auto service I've experienced in a very long time. Thank you!

I originally went to Safelite auto glass. I drove all the way to their location which is a half hour away when I went in I told them I had a jeep with flood lights. It’s parked outside if they would like to look at the job first. They declined, saying it wasn’t necessary. Didn’t want to get up out of the air condition. I guess. When the tech came out to my home to do the job, he took one look at my jeep and said I can’t do that. Take the lights off yourself, and I’ll come back. I called Gulf Coast auto glass and they said we can do the job no problem, and they could not have been more correct. The two-man team of Kenny and Norman looked at the Jeep didn’t say a word, had the lights dismantled, new glass, put the lights back on and gone in 20 minutes. Anybody else so so tired of businesses that could care less about customer service? Well you will not be disappointed or dissatisfied with Gulf Coast Glass. Tracie exceeded my expectations and helped me arrange the windshield replacement and facilitated with the insurance phone call & payment. She did it all! She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and answered questions I had not thought about! Norman arrived at my house on time. The damaged windshield was shattered and they didn’t get one small piece of glass anywhere. The work was completed fast & correctly. We needed to have the windshield of our 1991 Ford Mustang convertible replaced and had already ordered the proper windshield, moldings and trim and needed to find someone who was experienced with replacing vintage car windshields on convertibles. We were referred to them by Garner Customs & Restoration in Sarasota. Tracy was great arranging everything and we dropped off the car in case there was any rust inside the side panels so they could repair it properly. They did an exceptional job replacing the windshield and there was very little rust and they took care of it. If you have a vintage car you can make sure it is taken care of properly by taking it to Gulf Coast Auto Glass Service. I would highly recommend them. Windshield in my ole trusty 1995 f150 was bashed out and I needed it replaced. Called Safelight, and they came out and told me they couldn't replace because there was some silicone under the chrome trim. I was in need of a replacement and I found Gulf Coast Auto Glass. I've send them an email and they contacted me the next day. The office lady said they have it covered, and they did.. We set-up an appointment, they called me and arrived on time. They had the replacement done in less then 20min or so. I'm so glad I found GCAG, they did a awesome job. The techs were respectful, professional, on time and had no troubles replacing my windshield. Gulf Coast Auto Glass simply put… Outstanding. If you’re looking to have a replacement windshield swap done flawlessly - these folks are the real deal. So thankful I found them via the great service folks at Autonation Ford in Bradenton. Tracy who manages the office was super easy to deal with and got me on the schedule quickly. Was able to procure an OEM Ford windshield no problem. Kenny, their veteran installer is an absolute pro. Was a pleasure watching him work as he gets every detail in the process and did the job completely scratch free and perfect. Recommend these guys to anyone!
