I called the day before after another company was a no show. The person over the phone was polite and professional. The earliest they were able to come out was the following day. Which was acceptable. I was given a time frame of between 11 and 12. At 11:45, I received a call from the AFG that the driver was running about 30 minutes behind. No biggie, and I really liked that I was notified. The driver called when he arrived, and was extremely nice and said he had been doing this kind of work for over 20 years, and it showed. I am extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism and service that I received, and would recommend this company to other. Pros: They do mobile service Easy to pay with credit card Timely, and if delayed, you're notified within your time window Professionalism Fast and efficient Lifetime warranty on craftsmanship Cost is on slightly less than the competition Cons: They only con was that I was told that I would receive a discount if I gave a positive review at the time of service. I always found that off putting, but I can honestly say that I'm happy with service, and if anything changes with the craftsmanship, I will update my post. S'aid was my installer. I have a BMW and asked him if he has replaced bmw Windows before, and he said yes. At 1st glance, I thought everything was perfect. He even put some dealing in the top of my front windshield because I told him it seemed loose. He inspected the little nicks in the front windshield as well and told me that they weren't going to spread, so there no need to repair those He vacuumed really good and had the window in place in no time But the next day, I take the family to dinner and my wife noticed that the door handle to the window He fixed didn't go back into place like it used to. It just stays in the open position until you push it back. Then I noticed a tear in my front windshield tint near the area. He sealed for free. I made an appointment the next day, and no one showed up Called again 2 days later, they apologized and scheduled another day... no show again. Now I can't get them to answer the phone I have been calling for the past 3 weeks! And not even a return text message from S'aid.

If I could give 0 stars to this company, I would. They replaced our front windshield and around 2 weeks later, my entire dash and glove box were covered in water after being in the rain for an hour or two. I called to have them come fix it and was told nobody would be available on a holiday weekend despite the advertised 24/7 service. When I asked again just to clarify, the man on the phone was incredibly rude to me and asked me “Is this not the United States? Do you not live in the U.S.? Do you not understand it’s a holiday here?” I then said if they couldn’t come fix the windshield before my car was being picked up to ship internationally, I would need a refund. He replied, “You think we’re going to refund you for a brand new windshield and the work we did??? No way!” Long story short, avoid like the plague!!! Terrible job and even worse customer service!

If I could give them ZERO STARs I WOULD! Reached out to have my windshield and rear windshield replaced. They showed up with the wrong rear window after I explicitly told them we had the option with motorized window opening. When they finally got the right window the motor didn’t work. Told they would order the part and return….yup still waiting. Front window looked good so I paid for it only for it to leak when it rained and for their to be a whistling sound due to improper sealing installation. <In hopes to resolve this issue I schedule a follow up 3 times! They stood me up each time. I’ve had to take off work etc just for them to do this! At this point, I just want a refund and to never work with this company again! PS. They don’t clean up after themselves. They left every piece of glass in our cabin, flatbed and on the ground.

Finally fell victim to one of the perils of city living - a smashed in car window. I called on a Saturday evening right before they closed, and was able to set up a Monday appointment. Mansoor was my tech - he was friendly and professional and called to let me know his ETA, arriving a few minutes before the service window I was given when setting the appointment. My new window was installed and ready to go in about 30 minutes. Great service! Cost was good too, a bit cheaper than local competitors and definitely cheaper than that big national chain. Plus, AFG did the service onsite, at my home! Meaning I didn't have to drive around DC with a trash bag over my window or leave my car for a few days at an auto shop. Hoping I won't ever need to get another window replaced, but I'll call AFG Auto Glass if I do.

Can't say I love shelling out dough to fix a smashed window, but AFG somehow made this a not completely terrible experience. Went to go pack my car up for a trip on Friday afternoon and discovered that the back window had been smashed (and totally worthless items had been stolen). I called a bunch of window companies hoping to get the window fixed that day (so I could get out of town for the trip), but not really expecting any availability until the next day at the earliest. AFG was the only one with that-day availability and got an employee out to my car in 2 hrs. Said (the window repair tech) was excellent — he was professional and thorough, cleaning the broken glass and replacing the window in less than 20 mins. Highly recommend these guys for the inevitable reality of living in the DMV with a car!

Terrible service! The company came and fixed my front passenger window. Shortly after they left I noticed that the window button was loose/not functional—which was not the case before they repaired the window. Additionally, there was tons of loose glass still in the window so the car door makes a shattering sound every time you close it. I called them back to have them repair the button as apart of the warranty. First they made me an appointment on Labor Day. Obviously they didn’t show up as it’s a holiday. I rescheduled and had an appointment set for 3-4. I called to make sure someone would be coming to which they said between 4-4:30. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. A technician came to replace my windshield and did a quick job. Noticed afterwards that the trim wasn’t placed back correctly and there were gaps. Called numerous times to get it fixed. When someone finally answered and made an appointment to come fix it, nobody ever showed up and none of the numbers I called ever reached anyone. STILL waiting to get ahold of someone to fix their mistake. *To whomever replied to my review- that’s the way it should be??? So the trim around the windshield that was NOT sticking out before and now IS…. That is correct?!?! And there are supposed to be gaps between?? I highly doubt it because before the windshield was replaced, everything was sealed.

I contacted AFG Auto Glass December 30, 2022 at 8:45 a.m., to get my windshield repaired. The technician, Said arrived at my location in two hours. Once Said looked at my windshield, he let me know that the crack was too large to be repaired. He told me that I needed to get my windshield replaced and contacted dispatch to find out the cost of the replacement and when it could be installed. Said ordered the replaced and returned to my location on December 31, 2022 and installed my new windshield in 30 minutes. Said was pleasant and very knowledgeable. They were very responsive at first and had a great price, but then failed to show up several times to actually do the repair. Then my window replacement immediately had issues allowing in water that’s damaging the inside of my car, so when I call they promise to come right out and fix it. Four times they have said they will come and do not. I took off work to be there the first two times they promised an exact time. Then I called them when nobody showed up and they just hang up on you in the middle of the call. It’s insanely unprofessional and the product is not worth it at all. They are a true scam of a business and nobody should be frequenting them.
