What's a Safelite?? As long as I live in New England I'll use Payless and refer any and everyone to them as well. John is the gentleman I spoke with every time I called there. He was polite and knowledgeable, and kept me updated all throughout the process. Nate is the gentleman that actually came to my job in Wtby to fix my window. He Didn't know me from a hole in the wall but I felt as if he treated me like I was family. He reassured me that everything would be good as new and he proved it. He gleaned the glass shards from every nook and cranny of my car, showed me what he did to the window, and tested everything. Thank you so much, NATE & JOHN!!

I searched out a professional windshield installer to replace the windshield on my "new to me" truck and OBVIOUSLY, I chose the right place. John was a complete pro. The minute he looked at the faulty installation of the windshield that came with my truck, he knew exactly what needed to be done. He immediately called Ford and secured a windshield for me and gave me a fair price. I dropped my truck off a few days later and they completed the installation. Everything was done well but even more importantly, completely clean! I would not hesitate to recommend John and his team to take care of any of your glass needs! They are the best!!!

I put in a request online after getting a quote from them on their website. They were out right when requested on Monday morning since I put in the request on a Sunday. Done in under half and hour, and they were kind enough to even put the stuff back that was hanging from the mirror. The tech also pointed out that the passenger wiper should be replaced so it wouldn't scratch the new glass. I hadn't even noticed it took damage from the branch that cracked my windshield. Highly recommend them. They saved me about $100 over the competitions quotes.

My husband had an appointment today 5/25/23 at 10am. Confirmed with technician. Here comes 11:30am and no call or anything. My husband calls and the guy tells him the window is from 10am to 1pm. Ok fine. A window wasn’t mentioned but sure. All day goes by and still nothing! So much for an appointment!! My husband gets a call around 4:30pm, im guessing from the technician but it’s too late. Kids are home from school and we are busy now. Forget it!!!! Horrible customer service.

I needed my passenger window fixed and when i called they were able to take me in the following morning. I was in and out of the shop in less than an hour. They fixed my window fast and efficiently and the staff was super kind and knowledgable. The price was also very good compared to other places. I was originally going to safelite which overcharged me and had no idea what they were doing. Im so glad i switched to Payless auto. 10/10 recommend Payless auto glass in Hamden.

Best experience with a Glass Company!! Call them on Monday got my windshield replaced very next day !! After wating for about 4 months for Safelite customer service "Windshield replacement"! I've heard only bad things about Safelite and I thought people were exaggerating, but they weren't .. Safelite Sucks !!! *Payless Glass is the company you should go. ☆☆☆☆☆ Thank You guys for being very professional!

Horrible customer service scheduled appointment to have glass fixed in my work truck, that I use to feed my family. Appointment was for 5/31/18 between the hours of 11-3 I called at 12 to get better window. Didn’t want to sit around and wait all day. It’s 3:17 no call no show no answer. I would not refer to anyone. Arrogance like there the only company around.

They gave me a quote, to which they raised the price on the day of work, they gave me the dashboard of the dirty car, my rearview mirror has the built-in lights which stopped working after they changed my windshield, they gave me excuses. And the only thing I asked is that they give me the car working, they were not responsible now I must look for an electrician

My family did and they came twice and the rear window does not operate from passenger side said its not their responsibility. You got to be kidding a brand new car that was broken into. It worked prior and they should fix it. Where is customer service anymore.

I didn't use the glass repair portion but I did use the car wash and it broke down in the middle of my car wash this morning so I have a half prewashed vehicle and I have to go home and rinse it off myself.NegativeQualityServicesCar waxing
