911 Windshield Repair & Replacement

This is the second time we've used these guys for our 2018 Mazda CX-9 at Capistrano Car Wash, and I can't recommend them enough. They've fixed two chips in the windshield, and they did it quickly and professionally. It's almost impossible to find the repairs because they're so perfectly filled. Today, Luke was the one who helped me out. We had just arrived home from a 2,000+ mile road trip, and we had gotten an incidental chip on the road. Luke explained what he was doing, took the time to do it right, and made the damage invisible. He then explained their lifetime warranty, handed me a clearly written receipt to keep with the car's documents, and happily sent me on my way. He was very courteous and professional, and took the time to answer any questions I had. I had no idea that getting a full windshield replacement for our car would cost well over $1,000 due to the cameras and lane departure system, and he politely informed me of the importance of handling chips and issues early without overly selling me his service. All of this was for $65, which is significantly cheaper than Safelite. For the service, warranty, and awesome workmanship, you can't beat it. Don't call a big company. Support these local guys. You'll be happy with the result!

I am not familiar with the actual quality of the windshield repair service, but their customer service is awful. I called the Orange County number listed on the website because I needed my windshield replaced. Once the person on the other side picked up, he said “auto glass”. No name, no greeting. I told him I wanted to ask about windshield repair or replacement as I just got a large crack on the windshield. He said I needed to send him a photo of the windshield with a measuring tape or ruler near the crack immediately before he would talk about anything else. I told him I didn’t have a ruler or measuring tape, but I could do it later when I have those tools available to me. The man said “ok” and then hung up. If the man was currently busy, I would have rather left a voicemail. I don’t want to trust my car to someone who can’t wait to get off the phone.

I called JD at 911 Windshield Repair & Replacement, convinced that my windshield was in dire need of fixing. Clearly, my untrained eyes had me thinking I was dealing with something serious, but upon JD’s arrival, he quickly assessed the situation and let me know that the “damage” was just a few pits that wouldn’t get any worse and didn’t require repair. Instead of taking advantage of my ignorance (which, let’s be honest, would have been easy), he was incredibly kind, honest, and didn’t charge me a dime for coming out. It’s rare to find someone in this business who prioritizes integrity over making a quick buck, and I’m incredibly grateful for his help—even if it turns out I didn’t actually need it! If you’re looking for fast, reliable, and ethical service, JD is your guy. Highly recommend!

Hi. When I drove into a car wash, a guy name Corey approached me and offered to fix the small nickel size crack in my windshield. Said it would cost about $60 and I said no thank you. He then told me that my insurance may cover it but I honestly didn’t feel like calling the insurance company and I shared that with him. He then offered to do it for me and within minutes, had the insurance company on the line and the claim filed. And he was right. Insurance covered every penny, Corey fixed the crack in my windshield and I absolutely cannot even see where it was before. Outstanding craftsmanship on the job and excellent customer service. Corey rocks !

Can't recommend 911 Windshield Repair enough. They repaired a few windshields for me in the past and were tremendous. Today called them out for yet another nick in the windshields of 2 cars (damn LA freeways). JD arrived on time and had some very good news for me...I didn't need to repair the nicks. They had no cracks in them and were just small chips that thousands of windshields get from daily driving. Saved me some $$. I really appreciate his honesty and not just doing unnecessary repairs to take my money. A company with integrity that care about their customers...love it!

I originally had a rock chip in my windshield that I had repaired. A year later, after looking at my windshield, J.D. informed me of a chip in my windshield. After showing me the chip, I explained that it had been repaired; however, J.D. explained that not only had it not been repaired properly, but that it was at risk of spreading. J.D. repaired the rock chip and I saw an immediate difference. The repair process was quick, yet quality. Additionally, J.D. was very knowledable and professional. If you are ever need in repair of this nature, I highly suggest J.D.

JD is truly professional windshield repair specialist. JD was very professional and punctual. He informed us about his travel and arrival window accurately. Upon arrival, he examined the windshield, notified me that it was a surface scratch and does not require repair. I offered payment, and he kindly rejected my offer. He mentioned not to worry, it’s all a part of his job. JD is a true professional, and I highly recommend his services to anyone seeking windshield repair.

JD was quick to respond to my inquiry on a windshield fix and gave me a very reasonable quote, especially since he could repair the crack instead of replacing the entire windshield. Most places stated they would only do windshield replacement. He was able to come out the same day and fixed the windshield in about 15 minutes. JD came out on a Sunday night and reviewed my chipped windshield and informed me that it had previously been repaired and was structurally fine but cosmetically it wasn't the best job. He helped me out with quoting a replacement if I needed it in the future. JD got in contact with me when I submitted a consult online and when I couldn't answer the call, he was able to communicate with me via text which is the best way for me. We were able to narrow down a time and day for him to come out and with my USAA insurance if was only $30 for the fix and he did it in less than 5 min. My Rock chip is now faint lines. Super happy.
