I needed to replace the rear windshield window of my 1997 Dodge Caravan last week and called different auto glass shops in Redwood city, Menlo Park & Palo Alto for quotes. Ryan, the owner of the Peninsula Auto Glass in Redwood city provided the lowest quote plus he offered mobile service, so I made an appointment for him to come to my house to replace the broken window. He ordered the new window glass, found that the embedded heater wire was defective, returned it, then came to my house with a new one. He carefully cleaned all broken glass pieces on the window frames and inside my minivan, then proceeded to remove the plastic components of the rear hatch door in order to install the new rear windshield glass. This work is actually more complicated than I had thought. I can tell that he has very good experience doing this kind of work (he said he has been doing this work for 17 years). After completing installing the glass window, he vacuumed all the glass pieces inside my minivan and outside. He billed me exactly what he quoted. I am very pleased with his professional, careful workmanship and honesty. I would recommend Ryan of the Peninsula Auto Glass when you need to replace the glass on your automobiles.

Ryan is great! Over a year ago I called him to come fix my Infiniti windows; it had rained and the inside of the passenger side floors were filled with water! He told me that it wasn’t the windows, it was the drains in the sunroof! He used hot water and tubes to flush the drains, and voila! This year, my car was stolen and the people smashed the sunroof glass. I had it repaired, and thought all was well. Then it rained, and once again the inside floors were drenched. I called him and he came within 5 minutes. He said that the wait time to get the sunroof fixed was sufficient to clog the drains, worked his magic and once again it’s perfect. Its nice to know that I can count on Ryan, and I’ll call him any time I need help with any auto glass - or whatever else is wrong…

Second tome using this company. Rock hit windscreen on my way to Tahoe in my X5, asked Ryan about replacement but went with repair as it was a small chip and he suggested that route as it was not in my field of view and repair was quick. Less expensive than Guardian and easier to schedule. Recommend for fill or replacement as i have done both. Thanks Ryan!!!! Scheduled appointment previous week, discussed cars make model and year. Be scheduled a time and showed up as promised in a good time window. Better pricing than Safeco with better glass. I am happy car owner, will use peninsula again. Well, I've had the pleasure of getting to know Ryan by calling him more than once for a windshield replacement. He's a solid guy who takes great pride in his work. Ryan was very fast, affordable and accomodating! I was really hoping to get it fixed the same day the back windshield was smashed and most places I called said it would have to be tomorrow. But Ryan said he could do it today. But then when he received the glass order, it was defective, so it was looking like it would have to be tomorrow. However, Ryan was like...let me check this other place and get back to you, and sure enough they had the right glass that I needed so I could get it done at the same day near where I lived. This morning I woke up to discover my car had been broken into and the window was shattered. After receiving a couple of very high estimates I found Peninsula Auto Glass- Ryan's estimate was half the price of the larger auto glass providers and he was able to provide services quickly! It only took a couple hours for him to order and pick up the replacement glass, he then came to my house and had it fixed within 30 minutes and even vacuumed out the left over glass from the break in. I will definitely be calling Peninsula auto glass for all my repair needs in the future!

Ryan at Peninsula Auto Glass was terrific. He answered the phone (no AI), he got quotes from 4 glass suppliers to find the best price, he came the same day to replace my broken back window, showed up on time, and knew exactly what he was doing. This in contrast to an absolutely horrible experience with Safelite who sent out an inexperienced tech, came twice with the wrong glass and stood me up a third time. Thank you Ryan!

After many years in the window glass business Ryan stated that he had never repaired a 1995 Buick regulator. He did some research and successfully restored the windows function. . He was punctual worked efficiently and charged a very reasonable fee for his services. He exemplifies, professionalism, that is defined as the skill, good judgment and polite behavior from a person who is trained to do a job well.

Ryan went above and beyond to help me out today. I told him the wrong window and he drove to Hayward to get the right one, installed for me there, and got me faster on the road than any other option as I was headed to the mountain before the snow.
