Had a rock fly up and crack the windshield on my brand new truck. I am the type of guy that really takes care of my vehicles so I didn't want to just trust the work to anyone. Luckily, I called around and found Carlos at South Bay Auto Glass. Right off the bat, Carlos was ultra friendly and responsive and made me feel like my truck would be in good hands. The prices here are very competitive with the big chains like Safelite, but unlike the big chains, you get the service and attention to detail that only a father and son operation can provide. Carlos Sr. and Carlos Jr. took excellent care of my truck and did an amazing job replacing the windshield. The entire job was done in only 1.5 hours. Also, unlike with bigger chains, it was very easy for me to pick my own glass. Since my truck was so new, I chose to spend a little extra for OEM glass, which is typically the best quality and fit. I would definitely recommend South Bay Auto Glass to anyone who needs to get some glass replaced.

Top Notch Customer Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Called to get a quote for replacement glass on a 2005 Pilot (18 year old car). Carlos answered and took down my info -told me he needed to make a call and offered to call me back or text (asked my preference) in about 5-10 minutes. I asked for a text since I was at work. Within 10 minutes I had a quote for the requested glass. Same day service with a Honda Factory piece of glass (not aftermarket) for $260 installed - a VERY fair price! Even offered to cover the tax for cash/zelle payment. There was a hiccup with the glass getting stuck in the door mechanism. Carlos and Carlos Sr contacted me and said they would try to troubleshoot. They ended up fixing the door mechanism and installing new glass and had it ready to go in less than 3 hours. Happy to support a locally owned and operated business. My rear quarter window on my 2003 bmw wagon was smashed in (nothing was taken). I called the local bmw and I was told they would have to have one ordered/shipped from Germany and it would take 4-6 weeks and would cost me over $1,000. I started calling around junk yards and other shops and had no luck. I was finally givin a recommendation and decided to check them out. I called and spoke to Carlos and he took the info of my car and told me he would call me back as soon as he found what I needed. He called me back within 15 minutes and we set up an appointment and he installed my glass the next day. Family owned and just good people . Thanks again !!!!

After someone broke into our car the day before returning from a birthday trip to San Francisco, I thought all hope was lost in getting my window repaired. While I could of went through my insurance to get it taken care of, the turn around timeframe wasn't condusive to what was going on and resorted to a local business. They took real care of me and my car, explaining the process, ordering and replacing the window in a timely manner. And the kicker is they did it for half of what my insurance company would of charged me for my deductible. Definitely will keep this place in mind for future vehicles or if anyone I know is involved in a similar situation.

This is the 2nd time in 2 months which I’ve used South Bay Auto Glass, besides the fact that they beat every quote I had received they were able to get the job done the same day without any issues. The 2 cars I took were brand new 1st a 2021 Avalon and 2nd a 2020 Explorer ST being as they have so many sensors and cameras I didn’t know what to expect but after taking these 2 I now know where I will refer anyone and will also return if need be and to top it off it’s a Father and Son Business which I prefer to use family run businesses like these and will continue to for all future needs. Highly recommend Carlos and South Bay Auto Glass. We had a cracked windshield and my insurance company sent out Safelite which was going to charge me a bunch of $ to install the cheapest quality glass. Even the tech admitted the glass was garbage. I sent him away and called Carlos, offered me multiple options, even buying my own glass at the dealer for him to install. Ultimately I ended up getting premium glass installed the very next day for less that I was going to have to pay Safelite for the garbage glass. Car was done when he said and job was clean. South bay auto glass is the place to go. I was driving my moms car ( without her permission) when one of those big rig trucks past me and a flying rock hit the center of the windshield. In a panic I started calling places around and South Bay was the only place I felt comfortable going to without feeling ripped off for an emergency service. I had a crack in my windshield which needed replacing. I called around for quotes with the national companies but since I also like to support local businesses, I called South Bay Auto for a quote. They responded immediately and were very reasonable. Less than 24 hours later, I had my new windshield. Carlos was very professional, very friendly and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend them. They also do car detailing.

Carlos the owner really took his time to explain the different type of options I had for my windshield he worked with me on the pricing and even gave me the option to finance the work into payments which I took advantage of... This is a good place. I was able to have my windshield replaced the same day while I waited. I have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma and they had no problem finding my windshield. Carlos's Dad did the work and he worked just like an expert, step by step and no hesitations. I would definitely come back here again or recommend them. They are a cash-only shop but that was no problem for me.
