I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Safelite. I had my front windshield replaced, but when I received the vehicle, there was a noticeable scratch on the glass. I brought it up, and one employee tried to place the blame elsewhere, which was frustrating. The window was replaced a second time, but only after an audit was done before installation—not after. Additionally, I had to specifically ask for an inspection after the replacement, which was completely disregarded. Unfortunately, the second windshield also had a significant scratch. While the staff during the second visit was kind, and the manager seemed helpful at first, they stopped following up or offering any solutions after the fact. No credits, no compensation, just a lack of accountability. To make matters worse, I was told they’ve had a few other customers recently returning with similar issues—scratched windshields. In the past, I’ve had no problems with Safelite, but this experience was incredibly frustrating. They need to take accountability for the quality of their work and provide better customer care instead of focusing only on business needs. At this point, I’m just left unsatisfied and disappointed with Safelite.

On September 11 2021, I had my front windshield replaced with Safelite on Brawley Fresno ca. The windshield was making a lot of swooshing sounds when I drove off after the windshield was replaced. The windshield cracked again and had a warranty appointment on October 9, 2021 and was told that it was impacted by something therefore they won't cover it. The point of "impact" is underneath a protective plastic trim as shown in the pictures. I believe that the employee who replaced my windshield cracked it when installing it, small crack that was covered by the plastic trim and eventually got bigger. there is metal close to the "impact" zone. Look at the pictures for your self. Long story short, their warranty wont cover it. There is nothing I can do really other than write an honest review. They refer to it as "New Damage" the point of "impact" is literally at the edge of the glass where it rest on the metal, no foreign object could hit there when the plastic trim protects it, it looks like it was damaged when it was placed on the car when it got installed.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, ValueServicesAuto windshield replacement

If i could give this place a -0 i would. I had a little chip on windshield near metal the tech that came out didn't explain risk if chip was fixed in that area and no waiver was signed. 2 days after chip was "fixed" i ended up with a big crack on my windshield. I called Visalia safellite where the tech had been sent from and talked to the manager there. The manager basically argued with me and laughed about my situation with the now cracked windshield. The macho mexican manager had an ugly attitude and i'm sure he would not have dealt this way with me if i had been a man. Long story short i called auto connect my ins. And they transferred me to warranty and the only thing they offered to do was apply the $70 it cost to fix chip. A cracked windshield is way more then that like $500 or more. I have now reported safellite to BBB. My advice to everyone stay away from safelitte auto glass repair their worth beans and do nothing to make right what they're employee did wrong! Their employee's mistake has left me with a cracked windshield that i don't have the money to fix!

They suck! They do not deserve your business. A truck just chipped my windshield so I called Safelite right away to get it fixed. But Safelite wasn't having it, they didn't want my business. The Phone tree is impossible to navigate, can't talk to the person in the local shop. They force you to speak to someone out of state at a call center. They won't just give you a quote they can't see it over the phone they want all of your personal information so they can spam you All I wanted was a simple ballpark figure of what it was going to cost and they refused to tell me Total waste of time and to me time is more important than money. You won't miss my business, there be another unfortunate soul who will go through all this unnecessary stuff. You have no respect for your customers. if you're too lazy to answer your own phone and talk to your own customers You don't deserve to be in business.

I had a chip from a rock hitting my windshield driving in the mountains. Had Safelite come to my house and George was very nice and told me they could seal it but would be still somewhat visible. Had him check on replacement and it was covered under my insurance. He made me an appt with the office to bring it in and have it installed/calibrated. Office was very friendly and efficient. Supposed to be a 3-4 hour drop off but Anthony called me and said it was ready after an hour and 15 mins. Everything works, looks good, and they vacuumed the area and it looked better than when I dropped it off. I was worried by the reviews but fortunately I had a great experience and the people I worked with were good at their jobs! (After pic and before pic)

The appointment was easy to make online...but when the technician hadn't arrived at the end of the day of the appointment I called to inquire and was told they had overbooked. We agreed on the tech coming out the next day however when he arrived, he informed me he did not have the correct windshield for my model vehicle. He blamed me for the "cancelled" appointment and told me another appointment had to be scheduled. The tech who came out the following morning charged my husband's credit card instead of using the payment method I put on file at the time the appointment was made. I am extremely disappointed in the service and hope management can make the necessary adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction.

I was selling my car and got a big crack across the windshield. Safelite got me in on my schedule and finished early. The waiting room is large and clean with a TV and child's table for little ones. The restroom was big and clean and staff was friendly. My technician when done gave me my keys, wished me safe travels home and I was on my way. We've all seen the commercials where everyone is smiling and happy because it was so easy right? Right! I felt like I was staring in my own Safelite commercial. The whole process was simple, painless and I found myself saying wow that was easy. Star in your own commercial, you won't be sorry

After waiting 8 days for a call back, my schedule , the appointment and the technician shows up non OEM glass. Heads up display so the glass must be OEM. It more of a corporate level issue I'm sure but still. Tech says ya sorry it is what it is. He was quick to mention that the glass they did have was kind of cut rate and admittedly wavy, but it what they had. So wasted my time. Had the same issues with one of the Arizona locations. At this point i'm just gonna speak to my state farm agent and let them know how unhappy I am with them referring safelite and tell them of my constant issues with them.

This store failed to inform me that my car was finished before I asked after waiting for 3 1/2 hours. My car was finished way before this allotted time as the interior was boiling hot, and had obviously been sitting for quite some time to get that way. They alerted numerous waiting customers as they waited for their cars. The associate went into the service area came out dug through numerous receipts to find mine. Never once told me how long my car had been finished. I think they need to be more aware of waiting customers.

I was able to schedule an appointment within half a day of when I first tried to do so. The techs called to narrow the window from 4 hours to 90 minutes. They arrived towards the beginning of the anticipated time frame, so I didn't even have to wait the whole time. They were polite, friendly, efficient, did a good, quick job, and gave me clear instructions on how to care for the new windshield during the first few days. I hope I don't ever need another new windshield, but if I ever do, I won't hesitate to call them again.
