St Pete Auto Glass

Had them come out to install glass on a 2014 Wrangler with 3000 miles on it. The guy pulling the cracked glass out scratched the heck out of the entire window channel. When I pointed it out to him, he said "No that's glue". I'm sorry dude, it not. I can clearly differentiate what a bunch of scratches look like, and what black window seam glue looks like. In six months, I'm sure those scratched will be rust. Complete hack job. And to add insult to injury, the windshield dried "crooked". The one side has a gap, the other side the glass is resting cock-eye with no gap. I won't even go into the guy missing all the black glue left all over the body. He even mentioned he didn't like doing new vehicles. Well, if you don't like doing new vehicle, then don't do them. Leave it to the professionals. If this was a high end vehicle (BMW, Mercedes, etc), you would be in small claims court...

This company was referred to us by where we get our car serviced. The guy agreed to come out and replace our broken windshield for $250. He said he may have to postpone because of rain, which was fine. He called and left a message the morning of the day he was to arrive to fix the windshield saying that "he needed a favor". I called him back and asked if I could give him the money before he completed the job because all the banks were closed for the next three days (really?) and he needed the money to buy the glass. What?? I said that we would pay after the job was completed. Needless to say, he never showed up and never called back. Really unprofessional.

Do NOT use this company ! They tell so many lies on why they couldn't get the correct glass. They had to come out 3 different times and they still had the wrong window and I asked for my money back which they refused to give back. They wanted to argue, then finally gave me only $40 out of the $50 they owed me. His wife was drunk and both very very disrespectful and yelling in my apartment complex. Again do NOT use this company !!!

I did reschedule my appointment due to a tech not being scheduled. Once Franklin arrived he replaced my windshield in very little time. He was also honest and showed me some previous damage that may have been caused on a prior replacement. I appreciate the honesty and great service. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I will never do business with this company again nor will I ever recommend them. Had them reseal my back window and it continued to leak. The guy came and added more caulk after I called him back out. The window still leaked. Then he stopped answering my calls!! I guess he was hard up for the $120!!
