I took my sienna in today to get my windshield replaced and overall my experience with Safelite was great. From the time I got there, I only waited 5 to 10 mins (though I got there before business hours) to check in..I had paid for everything prior (online) so all I had to do was review info they had, hand over my keys and come back when the vehicle was ready. After about an hour and a half, I got a call from Jose who was the technician that worked on my vehicle. Very professional and explained everything that was done and made sure I didn't have any questions. Thank you Westminster Safelite team for the great service experience.

Set an appointment to get my back window replaced. Come appointment time, they guaranteed my window would be fixed that day. Come to find out, they forgot about the molding. Which is an extra charge(that I've never been charged for, mind you. Now I'm charged an ADDITIONAL $90 cause someone dropped the ball), and has to be ordered from the dealer, which is set to arrive about a week later. Now I have to drive around with a missing back window, with plastic wrap on it. Everything should have been ordered PRIOR to my appointment date. The ball was definitely dropped. Headed to Yelp now to leave another bad review. Buyer beware! If you're stuck with these guys, make sure they're up front about all costs and that they have ALL parts needed BEFORE your appointment date. Picture below is of the new molding I was charged for. Great job Safelite, way to represent!

I have always had great experiences with Safelite repairs. However, that is not true of my experience today. In short: poor workmanship, charged for parts that were not installed, late work and poor communication. In long: I dropped off my car before the work day began for a windshield replacement by appointment. I was told it would be ready by 4:30pm. The day passed. I didn’t receive a text, but wanted to make sure I picked it up before they closed (at 5pm), so I showed back up about 4:45, and my car was not ready. Said they had had technical difficulties throughout the day, so they were behind. I waited for my car to be finished (about 5:15), and then proceeded to drive it home. Unfortunately, I didn’t double check my car’s workmanship until I got home (and after I heard rattling while driving). The plastic moldings around my windshield were not bonded correctly and I noticed they were disbonded when I got home. Additionally, I paid for new windshield wipers, but found my old blades on there. No new blades but still charged. Super huge bummer. Will likely try a different place next time. ---------------------------- Update: A mobile technician was sent out to take a look at my car. After about 45 minutes of him working, he said 2 things: - 1. Nothing could be done about the plastic moldings being disbonded around my windshield. Unfortunately, this was a workmanship error on initial install: when the glass was replaced, it was pressed down too hard and the epoxy holding it into place set pushed in too far. Therefore, it left a gap between the glass and those outward plastic liners. The only 'fix' would be to replace the windshield all over again. - 2. Whoever put my car back together failed to replace the clips holding the plastics together under my hood (especially around the engine). The mobile technician was able to scrounge through his truck and find similar clips to fit. However, these were not the original clips that were removed from my car.

Ive wanted to say this for such a long time. This isn’t about the quality of work or the customer service. Its all great. But as a wife (a meddling one) I have to say that the management at this location really hurt my family while we were going through the hardest time in our lives. My husband worked at this location. Never had been called off with the last manager and everything went fine. He was getting raises….etc. Then in comes a new manager who kind of chose favorites and started calling people off to tell them it was too slow. This happened to my husband countless times while he was in the shower or dressed ready to get into the car. Other workers were getting ridiculous amounts of jobs while the “non favorites” were getting sometimes 2 or 3 days off of their work week. This was concerning since i was pregnant but then the unthinkable happened. In a span of 3 months, my dad dies, my pregnancy starts to go south, i get a rare form of pregnancy induced heart failure, our daughter dies and is born still at 30 weeks gestation, and my mom slips into a month long coma and almost dies. During this time, my husband had to take some time off seeing as we were grieving a daughter, i was in active heart failure, and we have two young boys who’s caregiver was their grandma Who was in the coma. When he returned to work, not only was he not greeted with sympathy or basic human decency but he was basically punished for taking so much time off. Some weeks we were lucky if he worked 2 days in an entire week. The manager admitted that if someone has to call off on a monday that they will be the first person to be called off tuesday if its slow. So my husband basically got punished and pushed out of a job because he was trying to be there and be strong for his kids while i was falling apart physically and emotionally. I know this post wont make a difference. Nobody will care. I promised to never write this while he was still working there but now that hes gone i have to warn future employees. Its a large corporation….i get it. But this particular management is cold and brutal. Even when a child dies. Anyway thats all i have to say. I loved all the employees i met and this has nothing to do with their skills.

Safelite provided an amazing and convenience service when my rear windshield was shattered by thieves. I selected a home visit and There was a four hour service window, which initially concerned me. The technician called me early and gave me a tighter window of about an hour so that way I Could be prepared, which was really nice. The technician was really cool and provided a higher level of service than I was even expecting. He took amazing care of my vehicle. I believe that he really cared about my situation as a customer and made an already challenging situation easier to deal with. He was well prepared as well as well equipped to handle everything needed, and I was able to get back on the road by the next day after the incident happened. This is the second time I’ve used Safelite and the first time I use there service option to have a technician come to me. I highly recommend them for the level of convenience alone but the price is good as well. Be sure to ask for all of the pricing options when you book by phone so you can be sure to make a decision that really fits your situation.

Safelite (Westminster) was all around excellent. The staff and the techs were vet communicative, professional and friendly. The job was done with care! They made sure I was satisfied with my window replacement and that the calibration of my camera etc were working properly. If you’re in need of a new window or a quick fix on a small crack, this is the place to bring your vehicle to. They had previously (2 years ago) filled a different crack which was holding up good. The new crack too out my windshield so I had no other choice but to replace it. I was able to get an appointment convenient for my schedule. Highly recommend these guys! Thank you again, I’m happy with your work!ServicesAuto windshield repair
