Avoid this place if you can. I have had 2 appointments so far, and my windshield is still cracked. My first appointment was scheduled by my car insurance company. I waited 3 hours to be told they didn't have the correct glass ordered and couldn't do the repair. They told me they had me wait so they could try to get the glass in that day. I couldn't have stayed I had to go to work that afternoon and should have been told immediately. After they finally told me I couldn't have the repair done that day, I rescheduled several weeks later because of my schedule. Today was the day of that appointment. I got there, and my appointment was canceled. The order for the glass was canceled. They said I didn't answer the scheduling phone call. They are right, I didn't. I scheduled there before I left the first time. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT! I didn't need to schedule. They called exactly once and left a voicemail. They didn't ask me to confirm the appointment. They simply canceled it. They didn't send me an email or a text that it was canceled. They were over communicative for the first appointment but lacked communication when it mattered most - when they screwed up, when they wasted my time. Did they offer any apology for the errors or inconveniences? None, zero.

Mr Lopez is an excellent technician. A highly skilled and knowledgeable whn explaining the process, the steps and precautions. He also recommended new wipers if I replaced the windshield. Safelite was easy to schedule and convenient. The company received my claim and responded quickly. The next day Mr Lopez called and confirmed and within a few minutes he began the process ti fix the rock chipped windshield. After 20 min elapsed and happy with the repair I unfortunately spotted a née undetected chip. I asked if I needed to do another claim and he was gracious to fix the new spot plus all the equipment were handily available. Another 20 minutes elapse and U had a wonderful new looking windshield. Mr Lopez and Safelite is the best service if you need any damage to the windshield done. Highly recommended. Thank you Safelite

First, filing a claim through my insurance was very simple and I think this company’s website just made it even more seamless. I was quoted based on my deductible and got the windshield replacement. When I got there what I was quoted is what I paid. No hidden fees, no sells pitch, no upsell items. Just professional service. Which I appreciated. Second, the technician was very friendly and updated me throughout my waiting. I appreciate communication and updates. I love the text message updates. Especially the one reminding me that I could remove the tape from the window. The technician had said 24hrs and at exactly 24hrs I got the text message letting. Lastly, my car had to be recalibrated, I received an email and the certificate, which I can save in my files. Overall this was a great experience. I would recommend.

The customer service at this place is at an all time low. I normally use Safelite and have been using Safelite since 2002 but never again. I scheduled an appointment and showed up to hear we can’t replace the windshield because of a sensor on the vehicle. I called and spoke to customer service 30 days later and they believed they could do the replacement so I rescheduled. After calling the Riverside location multiple times I finally got through and spoke to someone who then proceeds to say we can’t use the windshield here but we can order it from our factory and reschedule the appointment again. No thanks lady but why wouldn’t you call and give me the heads up before I got there today? Why wouldn’t the company make a note in the system to say we can’t do this type of vehicle? C’mon guys and girls it’s not that hard.

What a pain this place is. I took my car in for a new windshield and calibration. After 3 calibration attempts I was told my windshield was overheating and they would have to try another day. I scheduled an appt for Monday morning at 9:30 and was told to give them 2 hours. After 3 hours I called and was told they tried 1 time and they need to try again. Since it was longer than I was told, I had to pick up the car since I needed to pickup my kid from school. I was told I need to come back a 3rd time. I told the girl at the front desk(who was sweet) that if I need to drive back a 3rd time I would appreciate some gas compensation because I don't live right around the corner. She told me she would message the manager and get back to me by end of day. 2 days pass, nothing. Meanwhile my front safety features aren't working. I call in this morning and talk to Cesar. The store manager. He tells me he won't compensate anything and that the only help he can do for me is schedule that 3rd appt. As I told him, i don't have a scheduling problem, I have a completion problem. So I'll be taking it straight to a dealer instead because clearly after this many attempts, they aren't capable of doing it.

I had an appointment with Safelite ( Riverside Ca. location) for windshield replacement. When I confirmed my appointment I was told they had the windshield in stock. I showed up for my appointment just to be told they did not have the windshield. I was told the windshield would arrive around 12/31/22. Couple weeks later, I called Safelite several times but they did not answer their phone. Call was routed to another location. I was told the glass would arrive by 01-09-23. It is now 01-11-23 and no courtesy call from Safelite. I had to call my insurance again to explain the situation. Insurance agent called Safelite (same above location ) twice but got no response. This is poor service and unprofessional. I hope that not all Safelite locations are the same. Safelite actually told me it was safe to drive with my broken windshield in the meantime. I told them it may be safe but it is illegal, which they should know because they are in the windshield business. My insurance scheduled me for another appointment, which is scheduled for 01-16-23, but how do I know if my glass arrived if Safelite has not called me to confirm. Maybe the "owner" will do something about this if and when he/she reads my post. I will see just how much the "owner" cares.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
