Mixed experience. The installer/tech did a great job, and all the staff we interacted with in-person were sweet, kind people. Why did I give only 3 stars? I made a full replacement appointment for the next day, online, including my insurance information for a claim. Received a missed call/voicemail within minutes asking me to callback so they can cancel the claim, as they said I'd be paying out-of-pocket anyway. I call back immediately, and someone else answers the phone. I explain the voicemail and this individual sounds confused, but it seemed as though they understood in the end, and they assured me the claim would be canceled. My appointment also had to be rescheduled (don't recall if they mentioned why). A couple days later, I received notice that they did submit a claim. It would've been a better situation if I'd simply cancelled the appointment and rescheduled on my own to avoid the claim. Very disappointed with their customer service over the phone.

I contacted Safelite about a windshield replacement because they are open on Saturday. I set the appointment up 10 days earlier, that process was very smooth. The DAY OF my appointment, and I'm driving to the shop to drop off my car, they call and tell me that their truck didn't deliver the windshield the day prior. First of all, why didn't they contact me then? Why wait until I'm already on my way to drop off the car to call? Lastly, why is the windshield not being delivered until the day before the appointment? I knew that the windshield would need to be ordered, that's why I made the appointment so far in advance. I hate to leave a poor review because the person I spoke with was nice and very apologetic, but when Safelite sends me daily text messages and emails reminding me to show up for my appointment, yet doesn't bother to get the windshield delivered, this is the first and last time I will use Safelite.

While traveling across country, we needed our windshield replaced due to a crack. We were told it could take 3 hours, so we planned an afternoon. Safelight got it done in just over an hour. We waited in the lobby a total of 5 minutes to check in and out. They handled all the insurance as well. We got a free afternoon to explore the zoo and some breweries and they fixed our car extremely fast and well. Whoever is managing that location is doing a great job and has excellent staff. If you are getting service from the Sioux Falls branch, ask for Antonio A. to be your technician. He is by far the most professional technician from ANY company that I have seen in a very long time. His communication is incredible, his professionalism is above top teir, and the knowledge on the work he does could put any textbook to shame. Antonio was punctual and respectful of my family and my shop space. I truly believe that he should be in management or corporate with the ability to educate and train current and new technicians. Whenever my next widnshield needs a chip fixed or a whole replacement again, I will be requesting Antonio to be the tech. I am not saying there are no other men or women in this office who are capable of the job, but i truly believe it would be no contest putting 10 techs in competition against Antonio and having him come out of top of work quality and customer service review.

This was terrible. Brought it in to get a back window replaced and this damage was done to the vehicle. We called customer service and they emailed the manager at the store. We received no response. Now every time we try to call customer service to try to address the situation, the system hangs up on our number. I will absolutely never use this company again and I am going to tell every person I meet about this. This review has nothing to do with a windshield repair, but extraordinary customer service on behalf of one of your technicians at approximately 5 PM on Friday afternoon, February 28. Because of the high winds, I had had a huge branch come crashing down out of my maple tree in the front Boulevard and was laying partially on the street. I looked out and saw a Safelite van stopped on the street. I went out and asked the young man what he was doing and he said moving the branch off the street. That branch is at least 45 feet long and quite heavy. What amazing customer service from someone who expected nothing in return… His name is Antonio. Please Let him know how much his kindness meant to me! He was incredible!!
