I had my windshield replaced in January and then my rain sensor didn’t work for my windshield wipers. Then I went back to fix it which they “fixed” in 5 minutes. It still does not work and now my rear view mirror is coming off of the glass. I called twice and they didn’t answer. Finally I called the warranty number and got through to someone in the shop. Then they said their manager would call me. 5 days later I have not received a call and I called them again today and they again did not answer. My car is still not fixed.

Absolute Nightmare. Stay away If you own a BMW. Over filled with gasket sealer all over the edges. Didn’t use the correct hardware leading to water inside my cabin. Ruined my hvac system, carpet, and various electronics. Automotive shop informed me the safelite technician compromised the water seal and that the windshield was installed incorrectly. Highly dissatisfied with the service and headaches caused by this technicians actions.

I fell for the "Safelite repair..." part of their jingle. I had a small ding in my windshield on a brand new truck. I didn't want to replace the whole windshield but from their commercials I got the impression that they could locally repair it. From the moment I got there, they started back pedaling on the repair option. "Sometimes it makes it worse. You'll still see a blemish", etc. It was clear their goal was to replace whole windshield. I'm sure that's where the money is. When it was done, it looked pretty much the same as when I drove in there. I don't recommend thinking that the repair is a viable option.

Had service done to replace my windshield on Saturday May 4th which they did a great job. Next day later I went to go remote start my car and was not working. Come to find out that my harness/receiver I had attached from my previous windshield on the top right got misplaced/lost. Something so easy to notice and now it's no longer there. I stopped by afterwards on Wednesday, made phone calls all week, and left emails and the issue still has not gotten resolved. Very disappointed.

My experience with Safelite Manchester was absolutely terrible. While scheduling my mobile repair for a less than quarter sized chip from my morning commute I confirmed my phone number 2 times but it was typed in wrong which led to a delay. I had also offered to note the building I was located in as it was in a plaza but the agent informed me they would call when on their way and assured me it wouldn't cause an issue. I got a time estimate of 8am-1pm, mind you it was already 10am. I called back around 12:30 but was on hold for 10+minutes and had to hang up as I was at work. I had been checking my car to see if the crack had spread. Around 1:30 I called back as the crack had spread and was informed this would now require a full replacement. I spoke with Theresa, who I believe is the manager, who informed me she would speak with the technician and find out why there was no effort to get in touch with me as the wrong number was entered, area code 303 instead of 203... I find it pretty lazy to not think that 303 is an odd area code for Connecticut and frankly very odd that if they attempted contact I wouldn't get an email offering to reschedule or something about missing you as it was confirmed via email. After the weekend I was contacted, offered no explanation about the lack of contact and told my insurance wasn't verified and my appointment was cancelled. I looked into it, realized I made an error and provided a new policy number. My new(third) appointment for the following morning was then cancelled via automated text. I had to call to discover it was still related to the insurance despite the now correct policy number. I got off the phone, contacted my insurance who confirmed I had 0 deductible and it would be fully covered. They then arranged an appointment at a different Safelite which I hope provides a better experience. The lack of care or effort overall is extremely disappointing. Had this situation been handled with an ounce more effort my windshield would already be fixed and I wouldn't have to pay to replace a tinted sun strip applied to it. I highly recommend avoiding this location.

I would love to give a big thank you and shoutout to the very understanding and compassionate staff member I spoke to on Wednesday my original appointment day when he called to ask if I could come in early but I explained to him that i was unable to do that or even come at all, that I was going threw a very difficult situation that my uncle had become brain dead and that we were saying our final goodbyes and he worked with me, got me in that same Friday the same week so I didn’t have to continue to drive with that huge crack on my drive side of my windshield so I could drive safe when I had my kids in the car !!! So thank you so much even though I can’t remember your name because everything I had going on that day, you were really awesome and it was definitely greatly appreciated and I hope you get to see this and you realize I’m talking about you!!!! So thank you again it definitely didn’t go unnoticed!!!! You guys have very awesome employee very calm patient compassionate understanding person he was. That day was one of the hardest times in my life so I’m glad he was very understanding to my feelings and situation and was able to help me out !!!! Thanks again !!! You’re a great person!!!
