Location is good, desk attendance was also very professional and attentive, but I dock 1-star for the fact you cannot contact the location directly. Everything via phone must route through a central office which is a terrible communication policy, even just to check how far along a repair is. Definitely a sore spot they should address seeing as service is more than half their mission.

Husband took his car in after THEY missed coming to our house for his scheduled appointment. Ended up making the crack significantly worse now costing us an entire new windshield repair right before we’re supposed to take the car on a trip. Absolutely ridiculous their mistake is costing us. Also took over an hour and half just to be told they can’t do anything now that it’s too damaged. See a like this is a consistent problem with them and kinda scamy.

The tech was a little later than I would have liked, but I'm sure that was because of bad weather at his earlier appointments. I fully understand. And I loved the fact that he kept me posted. I wasn't just waiting and expecting him. I knew roughly when he'd arrive. And once he arrived, he did fantastic work and got it done quickly and efficiently. You can tell he takes pride in his work. I shopped around, and Safelite had the best price, too. They really are a great outfit.

I had windshield replacement on January 2nd and on Jan. 6th with the first freezing rain & snow I had rain and ice on the inside of the cabin. The built in windshield defroster never worked and perhaps was never connected. The windshield is sticking out atleast 1/8" further than the OEM and now I pray that I do not have to break hard as I am uncertain that the entire windshield won't go flying off the vehicle. I can't contact safelite by phone of the location that performed the service or safelite customer service. The first call I could hear people speaking spanish and a TV or radio in the background and what sounded like toddlers or vary small children on the phone. BIG HELP there safelite. Called customer service who connected me to the service location, rings twice then crickets. Three tries with same results. The automated CS number continuously puts you in a loop that goes back to the service location and crickets. This company is a despicable SCAM and my next call is to my attorney.

I would recommend second guessing anything the receptionist tells you. I called last week to ask about getting my replacement done in Brookfield, at my place of employment, she quickly said “No, we will not replace your windshield in Brookfield, we will only replace your windshield in the city of Waukesha” I had the replacement done today, at my house in Waukesha, to later be told by the technician, that they do travel to Brookfield. Horribly customer service at the office in Waukesha.

be aware of the calibration fee. I was quoted $400 for my windshield and the small note at the bottom, additional fees may apply for calibration. All of a sudden a $522 calibration fee is added. They said they don't know the calibration fee on such short notice. I called a different company for a quote and they were able to provide me with an accurate estimate with calibration costs over the phone.
