Customer service was okay, windshield service was not. I brought in a .5 inch chip on my windshield. They 'fixed' it, and told me after to watch out for the crack getting bigger as there was a "1%" chance that the fix did not work. The 1/2" chip was 2" when I got my car back, and over 6 inches by the end of the day. Now I'm paying $400+ for a new windshield. This is frustrating since I caught my windshield chip so early on. I called Safelite support and they were not able to get in contact with this shop after 20 minutes and now have me on email support. I'd recommend going someplace else

The technicians, Angel and Reyshaun did great work! They were skilled, knowledgeable (catching and correcting a wrong fit seal previously done by somewhere else) efficient, respectful, and kind, gracious men. I spoke with them both and they had no problem with pausing their focus to answer. (I would not recommend abusing that with multiple interruptions. :) ) I can confidently recommend them and will. The fact that they also came to me? How can it get better than that?! There is an option to go in, but for me, this was ideally done where I could continue my work. My husky has a big voice and announced someone coming up the steps- she immediately was relaxed and happy to see them and say hello. Angel was at the door and handled her excitement with ease. That is more than I can fairly expect- I was embarrassed that she got by me. Thankfully, I know she is kind- but they don’t! The calls and text updates were great. I had peace of mind instead of angst over when they might arrive. Angel and Reyshaun’s upbeat communication and service were professional, personal, trustworthy, efficient, and excellent. Thank you! ~Elena Haas

My windshield seems fine. However the fasteners for the trim around my windshield seem to have been broken by the tech. This would not have been a huge issue, but it looks like the tech tried to hide the problem by using double sided tape to put the trim back on? Last night I drove on the highway and the entire trim ripped off my car, pretty dangerous for people behind me. I don't usually leave reviews, but there is no way to contact any form of customer service on the weekends which seems odd for a large chain. Overall a terrible experience. (Also my appointment had to be rescheduled twice due to poor communication on Safelites end)

It took about 4 weeks and 4 appointments to get my rear windshield fixed. Started out by signing up for an in person appointment and when they arrived they didn't have the right windshield. Said they would call me to schedule once right windshield is in. They never called, so I called them and they said they had the right windshield and created another appointment. Morning of 2nd appointment they said they couldn't come to my house for this work even though they did the first time. Created 3rd appointment in shop. Arrived to shop only to find they still didn't have the right windshield so created 4th appointment. They agreed to do at my house since I complained about how terrible the service has been. They finally came and did the work at my house and did a nice job. The person doing the work was courteous and professional but I can't recommend them due to terrible process and communication.

Had to get my windshield replaced after eating a rock on the highway and the guys at safelite made it easy and stress free. First attempt i received a call that the replacement windshield had a scratch on it already and i was provided photos and measurements and given the option to proceed with the replacement or reschedule for a new windshield show up. Ultimately, i opted to reschedule but i hugely appreciated the transparency (heh get it?) in the process. When i did bring it back, i forgot to take off my adhesive dash cam mount and cable clips but the technicians painstakingly removed and then replaced them on the new windshield, no questions asked. Very professional.

There was no way to order an OEM windshield for my Porsche Macan when I booked online. I had to drive to the location to speak to a person and rescheduled my appointment. Aidan gave me his direct line to call the morning of my appointment (Thursday) to ensure the part was ready. I called before my appointment and there was no answer until Aidan called back when I was already on my way to the shop. The replacement was not at the shop yet, but fine I could wait at the shop. Job was done on Thursday. Technician gave me his number to call should any issue arise. On Tuesday (5 days later), the interior rear view mirror fell off while I was driving. I immediately called the technician and Aidan. No answer. When Aidan finally answered, it was already too late to make it to the shop. Aidan said he would relay the issue to the technician and to expect me at the shop the next day. On Wednesday (next day), Aidan was not at the shop. I had to relay everything to someone else who took off to grab a technician I did not recognize. He went to my car and fumbled for perhaps 5 minutes before decided that he could not reattach it there because the problem was “Porsche parts.” For the record, I bought the car brand new 5 years ago and the interior rear view mirror had no issue until after the windshield replacement. Then the technician said he needed to work on it in the shop and drove it away. Sure, the mirror is reattached now, but I can see the panels were roughly handled like a sharp tool was used to pry/force them and they are not even properly aligned. I am driving with much paranoia now that I think the mirror can detach and fall off again. I regret taking my car to Safelite.
