Good service. Easy to set up. Very good communications IN PERSON, but no way to talk to anyone -local or national-on th phone. You only get recordings. When we took car in, we were told car could be ready by 4ish, 5 for sure. We went back about 3 to ensure we got car back that day, since no way to check on status by phone. We waited for over an hour, but did get cat back that day. That seems to be the way it works; about 5 other customers were waiting also.

I've had the windshield replaced twice in 5 years on my older Porsche at this location in Mount Pleasant. On each occasion, they did an absolutely top notch job. I was able to specify the OEM replacement glass and the OEM seals and each of the replacements has been excellent. Travis communicated very well and treated me great. Thanks.

Guilliermo called me earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise. He arrived ready to work, and about ten minutes before another Safelite truck pulled up with my new windshield. Personable and professional, he quickly removed the old windshield. He cleaned everything of old seals and adhesive, then examined the area a second time to be sure all was copacetic. He cleaned the dashboard, installed new seals, the new windshield, checked for water-tightness, and cleaned the glass both inside and out. After placing some tape to hold everything in place, he explained the warrenty and the procedure to allow the adhesive and seals to cure. All in all, an excellent job.

The technician DEVON did not handle my vehicle with care. I purchased the car brand new and never had any issues. Devon replaced my windshield after a rock hit it and caused a crack. Immediately following Devon’s work, none of my safety features worked nor did my windshield wipers. I had to schedule a warranty repair. When Devon saw that I had scheduled a repair due to his negligence, he called me and argued that he did nothing wrong and the car worked fine. Once a second technician came and Fixed what Devon broke, the second technician confirmed that my vehicle had not been assembled back together correctly. He had to completely replace the water sensor for the windshield wipers because the original one has been damaged with the windshield replacement along with many wires were left loose and not even reconnected like they should have been. Was a blatant lack of care from Devon when he replaced the windshield. My car functioned better with the cracked windshield versus how he left it. I am thankful to John who fixed all the issues and also apologized to me for Devon’s lack of professionalism. He heard how Devon spoke to me when he called and argued the car had nothing wrong with it. I have learned in life that when someone is guilty, they are very defensive right of the bat, which is what I experienced with Devon. If you are using this safelite to replace your windshield, be mindful of who your technician is. A simple crack on my windshield became a huge headache.

For the most part they were great. An appointment was made last minute and they were very communicative about when they were ready for my car and when it was going to be done. For picking up my car, the tech placed it in my gas cap which then locked my car and my gas cap, locking my key with no way in to my car. Luckily my friend was able to pry it open partially and pull the key out. While this wasn’t a huge deal because we were able to get it out, we had no help with how to get into my car.

Kim and Tyler have been absolutely amazing at this safelite. I have had to reschedule my appointment multiple times because of issues with my car being in the shop. They have been extremely communicative and on top of everything. They consistently called to help me reschedule and are very flexible with me rescheduling multiple times. Tyler actually went out to Summerville to replace my windshield. However, due to issues with my car being in the shop, he couldn’t do the replacement, but he went above and beyond and talk to his manager and the manager at the shop to try to figure someway to be able to help me. I really appreciate how Safelite runs its business. If you are going to choose any business, I would choose this one 10/10!!!!
