My first appointment was supposed to be Friday. Thursday I had a phone call regarding for the Friday appointment. I was at an LAX airport when I got the phone call. Did gentleman on the phone said it was my passenger side door. No it was not. There was miscommunication, but ultimately it was resolved. It was my window, shield, passenger side stone hit the Window shed. Ultimately Monday appointment was perfect. Gentleman was very good. Very polite. Texted me when he got here. Texted me when his job was done. This is the Fourth time I had to use safe Very satisfied. I don't know where the lack of communication was, but it was resolved.

Extremely disappointed with our experience at Safelite. We paid $450 out of pocket to have a window replaced after getting a chip, no insurance involved, yet the technician broke the window regulator during installation and management refuses to admit fault. In fact, the response from the Safelite team when we informed them about the regulator malfunctioning, immediately following the repair, was that the regular motor is considered a wear and-tear-part, that we unfortunately are just experiencing very bad luck, and coincidentally, Safelite also provides window regulator replacements for only a few more hundred dollars. Instead of addressing the issue, they’ve been dodging us and now tell us they filed a claim through our insurance (which we never used). In addition to the damaged regulator, the door panel was left partially disconnected from the frame, with a large gap. It’s still unknown if this is due to the technician(s) lack of attention to proper procedure during the repair and subsequent inspection, not having the knowledge and skills to properly finish the job, or worse, damaged the panel/panel clips during install and did not mention it. This is completely dishonest and unacceptable. We’re left with a broken regulator, a driver-side window stuck halfway open, and no accountability. Avoid this place if you want professional service and integrity.

From the mobile tech Connor keeping up to date on the appointment, to him helping to reschedule when I didn't have the proper area for it to be done at my location, to service at the shop, everything was perfect! Everyone was so pleasant! When I arrived at the shop, I planned on having lunch at the nearby Eat n Park then walk around Best Buy for a little. My car was done before I had a chance to go to best buy! So far (its only been 2 days) it seems to be holding up well. Amazing 🤩🤩🤩 I was upset enuf that I had to get a new windshield but on top of that my car battery was acting up so I had to jump it to get to my appointment for my windshield...then i called them to ask would this b an issue because I really wasnt sure if it would re start 😕😕😕the gentleman was so nice and didn't even hesitate to say we got cables ur good don't worry about it ...this meant so much u don't even know ... Thanks for nothing safelite. I give you zero stars but one star is the minimum. Had a technician come out to repair My windshield Which had an 1-1/4"crack. After the repair, the technician showed me that he had cracked it further And the crack is now 7"long. The red circle shows the original small crack In the red line shows what it looks like after the repair. Nobody verbally told me that this could be a risk But I didn't expect that a repair would cause more damage to my windshield. Obviously they are not responsible for damage that they created But they Could install a new windshield for me Which would Probably cost me around $600 out of pocket. Is this a way to make more money from an unsuspecting woman than a simple repair? Shame on you safelite!!
