This place had the rudest person working for them. Left my car unlocked. Gave a piece of glass with my inspection sticker wrapped in purple tape instead of reapplying them to my new windshield. Customer service is terrible. Not by all but one that stood out as an ___. His lack of Customer service is gonna lose your company business. I was told I was receiving new windshield wipers also. That didn't happen either. Over all I would never use or refer or go to the Lancaster PA location ever again. Such a terrible experience. My first in decades.

I just bought a new (to me) car and on my first voyage a truck kicked a stone into my glass. Darn it! Enter Safelite Lancaster. They did great, fast work at the shop (and I totally loved the dude at the front desk). During the initial search process, the robot could have easily included the real price (my fancy car cameras needed recalibration) instead of just saying "you might need recalibration" during the pricing. The sticker shock made me cancel my appointment to do my homework. As it turned out, this was still the best option, but it felt a little slimy. Not the fault of the local folks, who did just fine. I also appreciated that the customer service woman who called to confirm my appointment didn't try to hard-sell me the new windshield wipers. When I told her my car already had new blades, she was cool. Thanks, Safelite! Now, my only complaint is that I can't get the "Safelite repair" song out of my head. 🎵🚘🔧

The technician was pleasant and worked quickly, but thoroughly, to replace my windshield. He called prior to his arrival and let us know when he was finished. All in all, he was here and gone in just over an hour. We had also ordered wiper blade replacement, which he took care of. I don't know if it was a faulty blade, but the driver's side blade does not fully clear the windshield when it rains. Will keep an eye on it to see if things improve.

Highly recommend! Willonso, my tech, was amazing! Super friendly, put everything back the way it was, wiped down the dashboard and parked my car back in a spot. Willonso also explained everything I needed to know as to where I could find the warranty information and phone numbers I could call if I had any questions. I am extremely satisfied with Safelite & highly recommend Willonso as a tech!

Update, 83S claimed another windshield. Since my last appointment: There is no local number, no easy way to fix stuff or issues with your appointment. You have to physically go to shop which now appear understaffed because front desk work was shifted to a 800 number and a crappy AI chat bot. ...and I'll be honest, if your problem can be fixed with its profoundly limited functioning, you... probably shouldn't be allowed to drive a car. I feel for the people at the shops now. Staff is apparently cut, because they have the world's worst automated system and now they run a skeleton crew at the facility. This is the penny-wise, pound-foolish reasoning of a the C-suite trying to make this quarter's bonus check. My issue: got a quote for 417, no biggie, less than my deductible, why involve insurance. Then I get an updated quote for 1300 due to safety features, calibration etc... now its time to add insurance, except I can't do that on the website. So I had to physically go to the shop to talk to someone because they're a national business with no functioning call in customer service. Gayle was great when she fixed a chip in my windshield back in May 2020. Super courteous, made good conversation (from a distance) and did an awesome job both with my windshield and disinfecting my car after.

So helpful and really went above and beyond to help me with my new windshield!! Super friendly staff!! And I would like to say to anyone going in there to be nice to the staff! If you are having issues with your insurance that is not Safelite's fault. Your insurance company just might suck especially if its Goodville Mutual, Donagal or Geico. So do NOT take it out on the people working there!! You should be smart enough to figure that out if the state of PA has given you a license to operate a vehicle although I am finding more and more that this is not the case. And you never know if a wayward person will witness you berating an innocent person and come find you in order to speak SHARPLY to you about proper etiquette and general decency.
