I would give my overall experience with Safelite the Company and its lifetime warranty promise a 3/5, but I will not hesitate to give the Glendale shop and its technicians 5/5. I had a windshield replacement done on my Mercedes at a different Safelite location and they botched the job leaving me with a leaking windshield. Adding insult to injury, the other shop refused to do a warranty repair unless I got an unrelated issue fixed. I had to keep the car under a cover for over a month until the unrelated issue was repaired by a Mercedes dealership. It's also a pain in the butt trying to talk to a specific shop directly- every time I called, I got routed to the customer service team at Safelite corporate who knew nothing about what my problem was. It's frustrating having to tell the whole story over and over again when I call. Enough about the bad stuff, the employees at Glendale made me feel welcomed and acted professionally. They listened to the leaking issue the car was having and run the water leak test and determined there was indeed a leak, they removed the windshield and found the leak was result of improper adhesive application done by the Safelite shop did the replacement job initially. The technician Keven fixed the seal and reinstalled the windshield and it has not been any leaks since. Though there was a little problem with the camera calibration, and I brought the car back to the Glendale shop the next day, and they redid the calibration the next day with no question asked, but it turned out the problem can just be fixed by turning the windshield camera on and off from the car's infotainment system. I am very satisfied with the service and the experience I had at this Safelite location and I will recommend anybody to come here to get their glass problem fixed.

I will likely find another location next time I need a window replaced. My appointment was for 2pm, I arrived 30 minutes early. My windshield was not complete until after 5pm. There was dirt from the replacement job on the drivers and passengers seats that was not cleaned up. My drivers door handle was broken, It was already on its way out, I already have a replacement (luckily). But I wish they would have told me they broke it. It feels dishonest. This is a disappointment as the location is convenient for me and I'd had a good experience with a side window about 4/5 years ago. Other than those things, the service was fine. As a side note, I previously scheduled a home replacement in sullivan county (this is about safelite, not this location) and the tech came out and refused the work, claiming there was too much rust on my vehicle to do the job. I inspected and there is a nickel sized spot of rust 2 inches from the windshield. It seemed that the tech just did not want to do the work that day. I'll probably find smaller, local shop next time, or do the work myself. These replacements are trivial on older pickups.

Wish I could give zero stars. My first appointment was setup as a mobile visit. “Your technician will arrive between 830am to 1:30pm”. I put all my work on hold and of course he arrived at 1:15pm “I was given the wrong glass for your repair. You will have to visit our Cypress Hills location instead. They have the glass in the shop.” Three days later, I drove an hour to drop off the car at 10am. “We will call you when it’s done, most likely in 2-3 hours.” Of course nobody called, so I returned at 2pm and nothing was done. “Oh didn’t anyone call you? We don’t have the glass. We will order it and call you back.” I was the only customer in the shop at 10am. They could have told me on the spot the glass wasn’t available. Nobody there even cared they made a mistake - TWICE. So now I’ve wasted two days and spent money on two hours of Uber rides. I’ve now waited another three days and still no phone call about the glass. Zero professionalism at this location. Take your car elsewhere or back to the dealer.

STAY AWAY, QUANTITY OVER QUALITY! Originally hesitantly made an appointment here because my insurance suggested it. I checked in, left the car and they said they would call me when it’s done. An hour later they call and say they cant change it because they don't have the seal for it. I go back to pick up the car now and they tell me we will reach out when the part is in. I ask, was it already ordered or are you just ordering it now (as in you weren't ready for this appointment beforehand). They respond no its been ordered but there is a delay. So why didn't you tell me this when I checked in or before I took off work and made arrangements to be here. I take my car and I guess a worker had black Urethane sealant on their hand or body and its on my inner driver window with finger marks. This stuff is very difficult to take off especially on a tint film. Next, I get a message saying my part arrived and scheduled another appointment. Planned out the day to do this on another work day. Surprise surprise, they call me again and say they cant do it, they didn't get the part the same day (a few hours before my appointment). Who is running this place? Safelite really needs to train their staff as they have a monopoly with insurance companies so they do QUANTITY over QUALITY. Now they say wait until we reach out that we have the seal, we don't know when we will get it. Its been a few days now, they can keep the seal for a future victim that uses them. Happy this all happened because they probably would have butchered the car anyway from the operation i saw. Do yourself a favor and find a good independent shop that knows what they are doing and aren't an assembly line with incompetent staff. Update: A little after this review I get a call say we have been reaching out to you since Tuesday that your part was in. I laughed because I have voicemails from that Tuesday (they cancelled the appointment) saying they don’t have the part yet and I shouldn’t bring my car. Mind Boggling. I’m editing this now because somehow my review doesn’t show up in their business profile.NegativeProfessionalism

Please everyone respect the reality of customers who have been dissatisfied. We paid for service on a small crack of the windshield. After being serviced by Safelite, the crack still exists. Ironically, the technician managed to discover a small “nick” in another location and claimed he could also repair this as well. Guess what? After “repairing” this scratch, it still blatantly exists as well. Of course, they still charged our card. Reached out to family and friends… they too have been bamboozled by Safelite and have ended up going to their auto dealers to clean up Safelite’s mess. One even had to return their car twice, yet Safelite could not get it right. Save your money and headache. Find a reputable body shop to care for your repairs. Lesson learned. Fooled us once. Never twice.

I am not someone who writes reviews. But I felt this one was necessary. My Jeep was broken into in February. I scheduled an appt for safelite to do a mobile installation of the new glass. They never showed up and changed the appt through an email that I needed to show up to the shop. I drop the jeep off and the first glass they installed broke so I had to keep the car there for almost a week to the glass replaced. When I get it back there was SIGNIFICANT damage done to the interior of the Jeep. It rained that night and when I got to my car the next day there was water in the trunk. After almost 2 weeks of emails and phone calls I got ZERO responses and finally had to go elsewhere to get the damage fixed. The body shop reached out to me with the full list of damage…..this is what they said. “4 interior trim pieces broken, missing screws, double sided tape to hold some pieces on. 2 Exterior trim pieces held on by double sided tape, clips were broken during glass replacement. A total of four leaks, where they didn’t use sealant” I was completely shocked. Safelite is a scam and this location did a terrible job replacing this glass and took zero responsibility when contacted about further repairs. I suggest going to your dealership or a reputable autobody shop if something happens to your windshield. DO NOT GO HERE.
