The tech was professional and knowledgeable. He called about 2 hours prior to his arrival and was amicable the entire time. My only complaints are that no one let me know the tech didn't have base access until he called me and that the glass trim protrudes from the surrounding metal more than it used to on both sides. The glass trim sticks out about 1/4" from the surrounding metal on both sides. It almost looks like the glass is too wide and can't fully seat into the frame. If you look at the top of the windshield in the picture, it is flush, like the original was. Both sides are the same. Other than that, it looked alright. The tech not having base access wouldn't have been an issue if I had been notified prior to 2 hours before the appointment. If we are provided their information, they can go to the visitor center and check in for a day pass. My vehicle isn't moveable, which was why I had scheduled the mobile service. I might recommend the service to people who are off-base or can move their vehicle. However, I would definitely mention how my glass protrudes in case theirs ends up the same. I won't be able to test drive the vehicle for a while to see if there are issues with how the glass sits outside of its appearance.

The convenience of the company coming to me is great. Tech that replaced windshield was really nice. Would be 5 stars but there is some type of residue of the windshield that makes it really hard to see. It it especially bad in the mornings and towards the night. I have tried to clean but it will not come all the way off. I reached out through email and did receive a call from customer service. I explained the situation and they said they were going to call the branch to find out what they used. I gave them sometime and still have not received a call. I going to try old trick if I can find some black and white newspaper to get windshield clean.

Needed a new windshield for our Volvo XC60 after a rock hit cracked it beyond repair. Scheduled with the new Safelite shop that just opened at the top of our neighborhood. They worked directly with my insurance company, scheduling was online and easy, and the work got done on time. They installed the aftermarket windshield my insurer required, but identified that the vehicle's safety systems would not calibrate correctly with that part installed. Safelite then took care of all the details with my insurer to get a Volvo OEM windshield to solve the problem and installed it a week later, all at no additional cost to me. Quality of their work was outstanding. Can't tell the difference from the original windshield at all. All the staff members I interacted with were professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I will use this shop again if I need auto glass services.

The sudden freeze we had 2 weeks ago turned a rock chip (I hadn't even seen it) into a 10" crack over night on my Maserati. I called my insurance and started the simple claim process. Safelite made it very easy to setup a mobile appointment. Hector came out today in the yucky weather and got my old windshield out and new one perfectly installed quickly. Hector was very polite and courteous and gave me sufficient notice that he was on the way and aftercare instructions. Great job Hector!

My family and I was on vacation at Oak Island. While parked at one of the beach locations, something had hit the windshield on my 2008 Chevy Tahoe. Needless to say I was pissed because we’re 3hrs away from home and had 3 more days of vacationing to do. I called me insurance State Farm explained what happened and they immediately started the process for me to have a Safelite representative to contact me. Probably within 15 minutes from hanging up with my insurance guy. Safelite called said they had someone in my area. They took the information that was needed and scheduled a replacement for the following day. My Technician Thomas, was excellent, professional, and very informative about the process he will take on replacing my windshield and also covered the warranty questions. I have to say this was an awesome experience will definitely recommend them to anyone, just hope you get a technician like Thomas.

I was very pleased with Fernando's replacement of my daughters windshield. He was very pleasant, polite and worked quickly after coming to my house to work. That saved me and my daughter from each of us having to drive over an hour to drop her car off, kill time and then pick it up and drive home. Saving two vehicles gas, hours of driving and waiting away from home. I had used Safelite many, many years ago, and knew I would get good service, but, this time was by far the best customer service I ever received from Safelite. I am no longer worried about myy daughter having to drive with a huge spider crack in her windshield and possibly getting into an accident and/ or getting a ticket. Thank you Fernando for great service.
