On March 27th I had my windshield replaced on my 2023 Honda Civic and when I got it back, the windshield wiper fluid wasn’t coming out of my windshield wipers. Come to find out, they forgot to reconnect it. Also, two pieces that sit at the bottom of my windshield came flying off while driving. I went to the store in Burlington on Church Street and they told me they are ordering the parts and will contact me. It’s been a little over two weeks and I’ve heard nothing. I’ve tried calling the store and I get the customer service line. I talked to them and they told me they aren’t able to get in contact with the store, they will leave an email.

I had a great experience with Nathan B. He came out and got my windshield replaced. Very professional and informative. On the other hand, I got a call from the office worker "Tammy" prior to the appointment. She forgot to mention the calibration PRICE. Initially I was quoted $729, but Nathan mentioned $1,200! I went through my insurance company. Tammy was VERY RUDE, talked OVER ME (while I was explaining the discrepancy) and NEVER listened, or accepted 😑 any accountability for her ERROR! I'll be reaching out to corporate. Safelite should consider recorded calls!!! She's not qualified to be a WAL-MART GREATER. SMH.

I had an unexpectedly cracked windshield and was honestly dreading the whole repair process, but Safelite Burlington turned it into a surprisingly smooth (and even pleasant!) experience. Jason, my technician, was outstanding. He explained the repairs in a way that made sense without talking over my head, and he gave me helpful advice on how to best care for my new windshield in the days following the replacement. His work and customer service were both top-notch. It's SO nice to be able to see through my windshield again with an unimpeded view! Big thanks also to Michael, who was kind and informative over the phone the afternoon before my appointment. He let me know how long the service might take, confirmed that I could work in the lobby during my appointment (complimentary Wi-Fi for customers is terrific!), and explained that I would receive periodic updates on my windshield status. My service was completed much faster than quoted. I was in and out in just under an hour, which still amazes me. While I wasn’t thrilled about the surprise expense of a kicked-up rock on the highway (who would be?), this team made the experience as stress-free and tear-free as possible. ☺️

Great service, friendly and fast! Rock hit my window on Friday afternoon. I was able to call the customer service line and they actually had an appointment available immediately and it was 4:30 in the afternoon…on a Friday! When I told them it would take some time to get there from across town customer service agent relayed that the tech was willing to wait as long as I confirmed I was in the way. I was in and out in 30 mins and it looks great. Glad I didn’t have to wait over night since I was going to drop below freezing and I was afraid the small chip would spread across my windshield. Great experience!

I have had to call on Safelite twice in the last month for broken windshields. And believe it or not number three windshield just got busted yesterday.🤷‍♀️ They are awesome!!! My first encounter was after a bird busted my front windshield. I called and made an appointment to have it repaired at home. That was very easy. someone even called me from a Safelite office to inform me of different things about the visit Lukas Dillion was the technician that came and fixed my windshield. Lukas Is so friendly and happy and professional and did a great job!! My next windshield repair was also scheduled for the home and Lukas came again !! Such a happy guy!! Acts like he enjoys his job !! That morning before Lucas came another vehicle had a busted windshield right there in the driveway after a lawnmower rock hit it!! Windshield number three😳 !!! We have already scheduled a home repair for it . Hopefully Lukas will come again. He is from the Safelite group in 1424 A North Church St . Burlington, N C . So so thankful for Safelite and what a good job they do!!!!!

My recent experience at this Safelite location was nothing short of appalling and left me feeling completely ripped off and disrespected. From the rude and dismissive manager to their flagrant price gouging, this establishment embodies the worst kind of customer service and ethical bankruptcy. I contacted them for a windshield replacement. The initial quote was for $431.69. A few minutes after scheduling the appointment, I received an email stating that a $750 fee for the windshield recalibration was added to the quote. To put this in perspective, the Honda dealership quoted me $300 for the exact same service. When I questioned this exorbitant fee, the manager’s response was infuriating. He suggested I simply claim it on my insurance. When I stated my preference to pay cash, as the total should fall below my deductible, the true colors of this predatory business emerged. Suddenly, the total price with insurance magically dropped to $855.44, while the cash price remained a $1184.29. Let that sink in. They were offering a nearly $330 difference simply because an insurance company was involved. When I asked for the recalibration cost under the insurance quote, it was revealed to be $318. This completely exposed their lie about the $750 being a "set price" dictated by "corporate." The manager's attempts to justify this blatant price gouging were insulting. He claimed the cheaper price was "set by insurance companies." I countered that the price for their service is ultimately set by them. If they can drastically reduce the price when an insurance company calls, then it is clearly not a fixed rate. His dismissive response was to simply tell me to call "corporate," as if that were a helpful solution. When I asked for a specific department or contact person at this elusive "corporate," he offered no concrete information, repeatedly just saying "corporate" as if it were a single entity. His inability to explain who he would contact for pricing or billing inquiries further highlighted the shady nature of their practices. Apparently, they never have such questions, a truly unbelievable statement. This isn't just bad customer service; it feels discriminatory and utterly unfair. The extreme price difference demonstrates a clear willingness to exploit individuals paying out of pocket, knowing that this amount of money likely means significantly more to them than it would to a large insurance corporation. While I understand negotiated insurance rates, charging an individual $750 for a service they can apparently provide profitably for $318 is nothing short of price gouging. This Safelite location has demonstrated a complete lack of concern for their customers and operates with a clear focus on maximizing profits through deceptive and unethical pricing tactics. Avoid this location (and business altogether since the manager blamed everything on “corporate”) at all costs. Their rudeness, dishonesty, and predatory pricing practices are a disgrace. I will be taking my business elsewhere and strongly urge others to do the same. You deserve to be treated with respect and charged a fair price, not subjected to this level of blatant exploitation.
