Today we had Safelite replace a windshield on our sons car. I've used Safelite for my window repairs at least 7 times over the past years and today was by far the BEST experience we had yet. Our technician was Shane (i believe from Gastonia) and not only the communication but the level of professionalism and service he provided was top notch. As long as he is with Safelite, he will be the tech we request when we need service completed again. He was friendly, completed the service in a timely manor, and kept us informed the whole way through. I truly recommend Shane from Safelite if you need a window repair.

Windshield had more damage after the repair. I had a very small crack on my windshield. After the “repair,” I could hardly tell what they repaired and they made 3 additional chips in my windshield several inches away from the original crack. When I called to share my concern with management I was told they could “upgrade” me to a windshield replacement. Of course, I would be paying for this upgrade so what that really sounds like is they intentionally damaged the windshield on my car, a car that’s practically brand new (5k miles-bought it new in fall 2024), so they could get more money off a replacement. I called my insurance rep at State Farm, who agreed with me 100% about them trying to scam me and recommended I go elsewhere to get the windshield replaced. I will be doing that.

Was fast and convenient to have Safelite come to our house and fix two small places on our windshield but when he left he showed us another major crack which was not there when he started. He said we would have to call it in as a failed claim. In addition, they filed a claim with our insurance company for only &69 which had we known we would have paid out of pocket. We did not want two insurance claims and when it all ended we had to pay out of pocket for an entire windshield replacement but not by Safelite. Need less to say even our insurance agent told us to never use them again.

I experienced a large crack in my chevy Silverado windshield from a rock driving back from vacation. I entered my insurance claim as soon as I got home and I chose Safelite as one of the authorize repair services. I received a call from Safelite within 1 hour of submitting the claim and they set up a mobile windshield replacement for the next afternoon. The repair technician emailed me in the AM then called when he was 30 minutes from arriving. The technician, Detremis, was professional, efficient and thoroughly explained the repair process. The windshield was replaced within about 90 minutes. It is pretty amazing in this day and time to have such prompt and professional service as Safelite provided. I highly recommend Safelite for any service needs.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband needed a back window replaced in his work truck. They set up a mobile call for Friday August 1st 1-3pm. He has a powered back window, but his work told them putting in a stationary window would be fine because he didnt use the power window. He got off work early Friday to be home for the tech to come out. We got a call around 12:30 Friday from Peter Boyles saying he could not come to the appt because his truck ONLY took a power window. He tried to tell us that the whole window for a power window was different, the seal and everything. He made my husband set up an appt for Tuesday at 8am to take into the office which is 30 minutes from us. My husband had to take the whole day off work Tuesday to take his truck and drop it of since we was informed it had to have a power window. We got back home and was called at 9:30am by a tech confused because all they had was a order for a stationery window. My husband explained what the tech Peter Boyles said to us that it had to have a power window and he couldn't do that mobile. They told us that was NOT true and they could put a stationary window in. They said Peter put in the notes we didnt want a power window because it leaked. That was never said. The only reason we needed a new window is because a deer ran out and caused equipment to go thru the back window and bust it. They put a stationary window it, which is what we was told by Peter he couldn't do it wouldn't fit... then, we ask to speak to the manager named Heather to report Peter and was told she was on lunch to call afternoon. I called to explain the situation how Peter lied to im assuming get off early this past Friday and go home. When I called after lunch I was told she wasnt at work ALL day today. I said id call back tomorrow and was told I couldn't speak to her then cause she had a meeting, I do not believe a meeting takes all day. I called and reported to corporate because this unacceptable. My husband missed a day and a half of work all because Mr Peter Boyles decided to tell a flat lie because he didnt want to do the job he gets paid to do and go home early. My husband ended up with thr exact stationery glass that Peter said would not fit and he couldn't come out to do. Also, the gastonia office said he had the window on his truck last Friday, he just decided to not do hisjob.. so we lost a day and half worth of pay because of Peter.

Had an appointment this morning at 8am. Heather greeted me and explained the process and stated it would be about 2 hours which I was prepared for. As I waited in the clean, air conditioned lobby I observed her greet everyone with courtesy and professionalism. To my unexpected surprise David, my technician, came in with my keys and very professionally explained everything to me at 9:10am. So not only did they meet my needs but exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this location and staff 10/10! Thank you for your exceptional customer service. 😊 PS...This was on a Saturday which was fully booked.
