Went in for a small crack repair after a rock hit the windshield on the interstate. Was informed upfront that it was to be considered more of a fill reinforcement of the glass. They also spotted a few more areas on the glass to fill where the rock bounced a few times. The glass looks good, and we just hope it holds up. Happy with our service.

Josh did not take care of the crack in my windshield. The crack is bigger than before. For a company that said they can take care of cracks in a windshield they were not able. I had a small crack the size off a penny and after Josh finished it was bigger. I tried calling the company after seeing the work. I tried calling and texting Josh and no response. Poor service for a company that says they can take care of these types of issues. I would not recommend them at all.

The staff was very helpful and eager to assist with anything I needed. I got a rental and dropped it off the day before since I had an 8am appointment. The even gave me a ride back to the house. Dropped off my suv the next morning and they were done in one hour. Originally said it would be about 2 hours. I am from out of state and wasn’t sure about any glass shops in Rochester, MN. I’m glad I chose this one. I highly recommend them, this location at least.PositivePunctuality, ProfessionalismServicesAuto windshield replacement

From scheduling to scheduling changes to the final install my experience was phenomenal. My windshield cracked and I went through insurance to schedule initial appointment my schedule had changed so I rescheduled through their online portal and it was super user friendly in fact I had to twice. Upon my final change I had an 8am appointment and was planning to wait for it to be finished. I arrived about 745 and was greeted by a very professional manager who got me right in and I was able to work and enjoy a hot cup of coffee in their lobby. After about a 50 min wait my truck was pulled up to the door and I was on my way. Great experience from start to finish, definitely recommend Safelite to anyone.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

These people wanted almost $1,100 for replacing the windshield and have the sensor recalibrated! Basically $485 for the windshield and $600 to recalibrate the sensor 😂. So i called the local Honda dealer Tom Kadlec and ask how much would it cost to have them do it. They sent me to the shop that they use to change windshield that was $500 and Honda dealer recalibrated it for $195 lol. Total out of the door it cost me $700 while safelite wanted to charge me $1,100. Saved $400 and had the real professionals recalibrate the sensors. The reason i decided to write this because the lady i spoke on the phone on the morning of 9-17-24 was extremely rude and didn’t care or gave a damn. So before you think this is the best place or the most affordable option, think again. Do your research, like i said i saved $400 having the actual dealer do it.

Safelite came out to fix a small crack in my windshield approximately 1-1.5cm wide. Upon arrival, I was not informed nor did I sign anything that there was a possibility of my windshield being unrepairable. The tech even told me it would be super easy and should only take about 20 minutes. 10 minutes later I get a call telling me that the window had cracked out with zero explanation. I called them back and was told that I would have to foot the bill for my windshield replacement now to the tune of $380 because my insurance will not cover it since my deductible is $500. I reached out to customer service who told me that they would lower the cost down to $260, but they could not go any lower. I’m just a consumer, but this is not how to properly run a business. Come out to fix a problem, make it worse, and then try and charge me to fix their mistake? This just doesn’t seem right at all. I will be contacting the BBB and reporting this to them, as well as every other social media and online review website. This is unacceptable. EDIT 04MAY2019 Safelite AutoGlass, the problem is that I was never told once that this was a possibility. Your technician came out and informed me that it would be "an easy fix, and I'll have it fixed in 10-15 minutes." Then, your technician rolled out and even left my car unlocked without telling me anything. With the exception of a short voicemail telling me it broke over 2 hours later, I was hardly informed about anything that took place. So not only did you have poor customer service, you guys couldn't even fix the problem. More over, you made it worse. This really goes to show how much Safelite cares about its military veterans. I will not be recommending your company to any of my friends or fellow veterans.
