Horrible customer service. I have tried for 2 days to get in contact with someone after making an appointment online and have had no luck. The small chip has now turned into crack that will now require a windshield replacement. I feel this could have been avoided if I was able to speak with an actual person and discuss the issue of location. Online I was told they could not drive to my place of work to replace chip (20.7 miles from their Joplin location & located directly off major highway) but they could drive 30.1 miles (from their Joplin location) to a nearby town to fix it. Scheduled the first available evening appointment due to not being able to schedule appt during the day b/c work and now will have to pay for whole new windshield. I feel this issue could have been easily resolved if I was able to contact the store and discuss location!!ServicesService not listed

I've used these folks multiple times now since they handle the insurance work for our car insurance company. I've had them replace a windshield and repair chips and each time I had a ton of communication. Their staff was prompt, friendly, and up front about not giving guarantees on the chips, that they could crack the windshield trying to patch them (they didn't), etc. Some of the bad reviews may have had legitimate concerns, no company is perfect, but some also sound like they are simply upset about their circumstance and wanting someone to blame. Make sure your car insurance has zero deductible glass coverage and you will have a lot less stress about windshield damage which is extremely common.

I was traveling cross country and I got a chip in my brand new motorhome windshield. I was concerned that it was going to run. I contacted Safelite and made an appointment. The technician contacted me first thing in the morning and He adjusted his schedule to meet me in the afternoon in Joplin Missouri. I had about 3 hours of driving to get to that location. He showed up on time was very professional and took care of the Chip and you can't even tell it was there. This windshield was like new and cost me $1,500 so this was the best money I'll ever spend. Rock chips happened but this made the pain a little bit less. Kudos to the technician and great job by Safelite and their team

Would give this place zero stars if I could. My husband and I were so disappointed about the quality service we got from here. Especially since it’s satélite. A place you should be able to trust! Drove almost an hour for our appointment to find out window had a “blemish” We reschedule the appointment for the following week. Drove back again, for them to tell me I had to wait a few more hours until my window was ready. Hang out in town for a bit.. wait for a couple hours.. to get a call and them tell me that my window was on back order and they don’t know when they’ll have a window available. We’ve never had such bad service. Plus the disrespect from the individuals back n forth between all of this was just horrible. Save yourself some time and please go some where else. Any where else.

Very easy to schedule a time for them to come to me and replace my cars back glass. Excellent communication with the technician the day he was arriving, I knew when he was on the way and when he arrived. I wasn't expected to be right there as he was working as long as I was available but phone and I left the keys for him. He vacuumed the broken glass out of the back seat and even the trunk. He vacuumed longer than I ever have making certain all the glass was cleared. He called when he was done telling me when it was safe to drive my car and even texted the next day to make certain any leftover tape had come off on its own as expected. I was told to expect up to two hours for the replacement and he was done in 45 minutes. I'm an hour away from their shop so them coming that distance to me with no extra charge, there was no question I was scheduling Safelite for my glass replacement. Thank you Safelite!

My rain sensing wipers no longer work. He put the wiper arms on the wrong side making the wiper blades not near as effective and hung out past the side and over the top. I had to swap those back. There is lots of little pieces of glass all over my dash, console, floor boards etc. I paid for the “premium” getting new wiper blades, one of which he didn’t even have out on all the way. I watched the entire process and there was never a “rainx treatment” done. It was simply glass cleaner. I’m about to replace the back glass on my daughter’s car from the hail storm a couple days ago and I will be using the local glass shop and not safelite.
