Took my truck in to get back window replaced and When I came to pick it up there was glass everywhere. The bed of the truck was full of glass and in between the cab and the bed, I had to make them clean it up. A few days later I took it to the car wash and water was coming in at several points. I took it back in and they said the seal was fine. They re sealed it and said that it was something else. I have taken it to the car wash since and have had no leaks. It was definitely not sealed correctly the first time. I took it there because i'm not aware of any other glass replacement other than them in the area.NegativeQuality

Second time with this business. First time was a windshield replacement a few months ago. Tech came to my house and did the job quickly and efficiently. He had a well equipped van and did the job by himself. This time was a chip repair on my new windshield. 🤬 Made an appointment with my insurance policy information. They contacted insurance for me and payment was taken care of. I arrived at the appointed time, had a short wait and they 'filled the chip.' The staff was very friendly and professional. Another good experience with this business. Why not 5 stars? Unfortunately, repairing a chip is not an exact science. Not their fault but the chip still shows the 'star' even with the hole filled. Results from the repair can vary. All I can hope for is that the windshield won't crack now. I like this place. If I need these services again, I'll be calling them. Thanks Jason!

I am so unhappy with the service received at the Battle Creek, MI Safelite location. I took my vehicle in for a stone chip repair. Not only did they indicate the need to make the hole bigger before they could fill, they didn't even fill it entirely. I took it back within the hour for which they assured me it was right. By that evening, the windshield had cracked all the way across in the opposite direction the original chip appeared it may spread. If they did not feel it would work from the beginning, why not say so. Say it's fixed and due to the technician's inability to perform a job correctly, an entire new windshield is needed. See picture attached. Cracked all the way as of today. I called our insurance carrier who conferenced me in with the "Safelite customer service". The Safelite service was terrible. I think Safelite representatives could learn something from Menards, Wal-Mart, Amazon about good customer service and keeping clients happy. I am so dissatisfied with their inability to even compromise to reach any type of agreement. I have used individuals in mall parking lots to fix windshield chips which have lasted forever. I recommend to never use this location for chip repair and have recommended that the insurance company look at another provider for this area.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE Customer Service….. scheduled an appointment several days in advance for 8am-5pm. Wife took day off work, she travels and could only be done at home. At 4:45 pm , 8 HOURS AND 45 MINUTES INTO SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT I received a phone call saying they weren’t coming because 9 hours earlier an employee had called in sick. So in 9 hours they couldn’t have called the days scheduled customers to advise them or see if one of them would be able to reschedule. Instead 15 minutes before deadline they call and cancel… Called the next day. Manager used the sympathy excuse of not wanting to work their employees excessive hours… Well absolutely I said it’s not the guy on the roads fault he shouldn’t have to pay for someone in the office screwing up ( like a manager )… Canceled appointment. Battle Creek , Don’t recommend them at all…ServicesAuto windshield repair

So you enter your VIN on their website and get a price. If you wait a couple of days without making an appointment they will give you $100 off. Later you will find out they tack on $50 for glass recycling. And if it is a newer vehicle you will get a text warning you of additional fees for calibrating your sensors with a link. I was thinking $100 or so. The link did not work so I called the office. So for my $450 windshield with $50 glass recycling my recalibration is $750 by itself but he offered to reduce it a bit. I cancelled the appointment and will not support businesses that do not have upfront pricing. I encourage you to look for an actual local shop that gives you a price to replace your windshield that covers everything so you are back to where you were before the windshield had a crack. Avoid businesses that tack on fees after the initial price. They have the VIN all information was known, give me the fully loaded price upfront.

Had the windshield replaced and as he was finishing, I noticed distortion looking through it and showed him and he agreed. So, a new one was to be replacing the replacement. Later, I leave and realize my radio antenna is missing. He'd taken it off and didn't put it back on. So, I call and am told a new one will come with the new windshield. So, a week later and he's here with the replacement for the replacement and brought a new antenna, much shorter than the original. Upon turning my radio on, the new antenna is junk. No wonder at 1/3 the length of the factory one. Now, it's been 11 days since the install of the second windshield and still no antenna. I've just finished my phone call to their number and got a lady who put me on hold and came back and said she was not able to contact anyone or the store manager. She requested I wait until Tuesday for them to contact me. Mind you, this is Friday. I'll never have another Safelite install in my life ! This was through my insurance agency. Beware folks.
