Fair warning, long review. Skip if you’ve got something better to do. I have an FJ Cruiser It’s not some strange, exotic automobile There are lots of them on the road Due to the vertical windshield like a jeep they tend to catch rocks Mine is no exception. I called my insurance company told them I had a cracked windshield and in October they sent somebody out to fix it in the driveway. the cowl wasn’t put back on properly and he lost one of the covers for the three wiper arms but at least I thought the windshield is in and that’s great. A few weeks ago driving down the highway the trim at the top of the windshield blew off, and I could see it in the rearview mirror I went back and got it and took a look and underneath the trim he had broken the clips and his solution was to fill it with black windshield sealant. It’s not meant for that application of course so I called Safelite told them what was going on. They said someone would call me back right away. They never did. I called again. They said they don’t see any notes but will send somebody right away to your place. I said please make sure he has all of the right pieces and the clips She said, he will The kid shows up he said sorry but the windshield they sent us was broken and I have the trim piece here, but I don’t see the clips that you’re talking about I said the clips that are on the body of the car need to be replaced when you replaced the clips and the molding on the trim piece right? You know this he said I’m sorry, but I think I just broke your windshield when he was trying to scrape away the black silicone that was filled in from the last failed attempt I called this office and said this is what just happened and this is ridiculous. She said that’s OK. Come in. Let me take a look at my calendar. We have a slot Wednesday. Why don’t you drop it off I said I’m on vacation, but I can come back if you’d like to come in Wednesday, we will take care of it. This was a week ago. So I go in and they don’t have any of the parts. She says they never should’ve made the appointment without having the parts first. How am I supposed to know? It’s getting annoying at this point but fine. I’ll go home. So she calls me tells me the parts are in on a voice message. I said please make sure you have all of the clips. She said can you tell me what they are so I go out to the Internet and I show her the parts and pieces that she needs by sending them through email. She assures me that they have them now. so I go in today simply to have the windshield trim snapped into place - six clips across the top of the windshield that fit into six spaces underneath the trim Mind you I’ve done this job myself and it takes about 45 seconds if you press your palm gently over each of the clips snap snap snap snap easy as you please but because this is under warranty I’m gonna let them do it right? I’m sitting in the waiting room and it’s about 45 minutes and everybody’s dashing around looking sort of in my general direction and going back in the back room and whispering and coming back and looking at me and out of the corner of their eye and going back to the back room, whispering, and I finally had it. I walk in to the Installation bay and there they are looking at my truck and the windshield trim is sticking out and I see gobs of black silicone all over the roof of my truck. I’m like holy crap what is wrong with this place? This is a simple freaking procedure and because they’ve now broken a clip and didn’t have two of them. The solution is to fill the void with black windshield sealant and pretend I’m not gonna notice. So at this point I drive home and what do you think happens? I’m halfway home and the trim blows off. So I called them back. I said I’m never coming back there and I’m not mad about anything except the lying. I’m pissed at you not telling me wand fessing up instead you’re sitting there figuring out how to lie and cover it up again. 3X Avoid this place !! 9/24 Follow up. Refund promised never came

ZERO STARS! Would avoid this location at all costs. I went in for a chip on my windshield and have come out with an entire side of my car damaged due to their absolute incompetence. First, I scheduled a mobile appointment following their guidelines and when the tech came out, I was told it needed to be repaired in shop. Ok, I scheduled my appointment and had my windshield replaced. The next day driving on the highway, the weather stripping of my car cracked in half, was hanging off my car, and scratched the entire side of my car, including windows. After telling them I felt unsafe driving this car home for an hour at 11 pm from work, I was told there was absolutely no way to have someone come look at the car while I was at work. I taped the part down and drove home. A tech was able to come to my house the next morning and said that the tech who replaced my windshield, Marvin, did not properly clip anything into place which caused the part to fly off on the highway. They needed to replace the part so nothing was able to be done that day, but the tech did take off the strip so it was no longer hanging. I got a call 2 days later that the part was in. Although I was previously told this part could be replaced doing mobile service, they now demanded I come in to the shop so that an “expert” could replace it. After taking time out of my work day to go in today, they informed me they ordered the WRONG PART. When I asked about the damages to my vehicle they stated they would not do anything because it couldn’t possibly be from the strip that was hanging down. Which is pretty interesting since the scratches are exactly where the strip was hitting my car! This has been an absolute nightmare. 4 appointments later and my car has never looked worse!! Terrible customer service and blatantly incompetent employees. You should be embarrassed by what has happened and held accountable.

This location was misleading with the scheduling of the "appointment". In fact there was no appointment of any kind. Only after calling shortly before the business's advertised closing time did they notify me that they signed me up for "drop and go". This is where you leave your vehicle with them all day and they over book their appointments with you and other clients, put more pressure on the technicians, and leave you and the other clients that "drop and go" for the day in the dark regarding actual pickup time. I called and called with no answer before finally driving down 20 minutes before 5:00 which is when they said they would close. Then I had to wait 20 minutes past 5:00 to finally get my vehicle. Misleading and leaving clients in the dark that chose your shop over others is what will make you lose business. 0/10 for customer service. 10/10 for technicians work. You better be paying the technicians accordingly to slam them and make them stay late or you will end up with no customers as well as no workforce.

*WARNING* *Avoid this location at all cost* I went to this location after an insurance job and it was the second time I came back for the issue and it seemed like their intention was to do a poor quality job because I came back for a repair on the original job. They had my car away from cameras during my windshield that they then decided to place their equipment on top of my sunroof scratching it sideways. They left the job all over my car with black reside inside and outside my car. I took pictures of my interior and exterior with material all over my dash and black reside on my steering wheel and mirror. There intent was do cause negligence towards me and my car. They gave me my keys with residue all over and my hands had reside all over. My ads system wasnt working as I left and it gave me a higher chance of a car accident. I drove home in the rain with my ads system going off just being around cars once on the highway. I will be filing a suit against this location as this location is disgusting and unprofessional techs whoses job it is to give poor quality work and damage cars the best way possible. The manager is never there and he will be hearing from me and my lawyer. If you want your car taken car of and have the safelite guarantee then please avoid this location because they will not take care of you or your car. If you decide to physically go to this location. Take a look inside their garbage. They leave material all over and never clean anything. Be careful who you leave your car too, especially this business. They unfortunately don’t care. Use another glass location or company like JN Phillips. If your insurance has recommended this place. You have the choice to ship elsewhere who will take care of you. Thank you for those who read this and you deserve better for your car.

Awful service, damaged my car. Someone shot my car window out in the middle of winter. I set up a SafeLite appointment through my insurance for the following week. SafeLite then canceled my appointment twice. By the time I finally got it to their shop, three full weeks had gone by, during which I was unable to use my car. The actual service was fast and they vacuumed the broken glass from my car, which is the only thing I was happy with. Later that day, I found that they had damaged the interior of my door when removing the door panel. Not only that, but my door lock began jamming several times a day. I left them a message just a few hours after I left their shop telling them this. It took almost two weeks for them to call me back. Finally, I set up another appointment for them to come to my house and fix the door lock. I had a scheduled appointment window from 8:00–12:00 today. I received texts saying the technician was arriving at 8:00 am. I literally saw the technician on the street adjacent to mine. I called them at 12:15 and the dispatcher had no idea why he hadn't come yet. It is now 1:30. My appointment window passed an hour and a half ago, and it has been over 5 hours since I was told he was actively arriving at my house. Not only did they damage my car, but they have been disrespecting my time since I first contacted them over 5 weeks ago. Just another note: when I did get ahold of them at 2:30, after calling twice, they told me that the technician came and left because my car was buried in snow. 1. It was not. 2. No one called or texted me. They just left. And now I have been rescheduled again.

First technician Kyle was nice, but apparently didn't communicate with the company about giving us a complimentary rain treatment for my sister's windshield. He could not replace the windshield for her scheduled appointment, as he didn't have the proper moulding for her windshield. So my sister ended up taking the day off for nothing. So ge offered her a complimentary rain treatment for her windshield, for the "inconvenience." However, he must have failed to communicate that to the home office, because when the second technician David came the next day, he knew nothing about the complimentary rain treatment, nor did he have the treatment in his van to give us. So we were inconvenienced not once, but twice. The first day when my sister had to take a day off from work, only to be told by the technician Kyle, that the windshield could not be replaced, because he was ill equipt by not having the proper moulding, and second, by me having to take an unexpected sick day, to drive my sister to work, keep her car, so the technician could come back with the correct moulding, and do the work. Only to be told that he knew nothing about the complimentary rain treatment, and didn't have any of the treatment in his van for the procedure. Your technicians need to communicate with your higher-ups better, and also ensure that your technicians are fully prepared with ALL of the correct equipment in your vans. That way, they won't have to inconvenience people further, by having to reschedule appointments. Also, before you respond with this Safelite, my sister making an appointment to her place of employment was not a possibility. First, because she would not be allowed to leave her desk to hand off keys to the technician, and second, because the college parking lot is far too crowded for the technician to have enough space to replace the windshield. She would most likely have many cars parked beside her on both sides. David was apologetic and professional, and he did a great job with replacing the windshield, but you need to do better with communication skills, and also ensuring you have ALL proper equipment in your van. Do better Safelite, DO BETTER!!!ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentGreat price
