Two stars because they did replace my windshield pretty fast but I’m left disappointed. They left my car absolutely filthy! Shoe prints all over. Never has my car been so dirty. Upon reviewing the receipt it falsely stated that vehicle was vacuum by them. Theirs rubber trim pieces on my floor! The dash is dirty As well. Insurance is covering a $500 bill for these services. I just hope they installed my windshield correctly and didn’t skip steps to save time.

They cancelled 1 day before service, and I had storage for my camper up until that day. I now have no safe place to park my camper, because they gave no notice. When I called and questioned why, they didn’t even have the decency to offer me a place to put my camper (like their lot), while I waited for service. They were indignant, rude and treated me like I should have been more prepared for their half horrible customer service and bad communication. They put me in a horrible bind, and if it weren’t for the fact that my insurance uses them, I wouldn’t even recommend this company to put windows on my dog house. I was told by number of people not to go through them because they’re so bad, and that just a recommendation about their quality of work. Now I’m giving a further review on their awful customer service.

The rubber around the windshield was left open and the technician told me that old cars are like that because the sun damages the rubber. My 2012 Honda CRv wasn’t like that before the service. I called for another service so they can look at it and the woman in the phone was giving attitude. Poor customer service, not a good communication as the technician left without telling me that he had completed the work ( I assumed he left and then confirmed when I walked to my vehicle and noticed the opening in the rubber, after that I called him and asked about the rubber). I would not recommend it, it was a terrible experience.

After nearly 50 years of driving, I was recently confronted with the need to replace a windshield for the first time. Checking online revealed a Safelite shop quite near my apartment. Since my parking lot would not allow the space needed to perform the job at my residence, I made an appointment to take the car to them, so that I could wait and not have to arrange rides. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, with complimentary drinks available, and the staff people were pleasant and informative. The replacement was covered by insurance, which I was easily able to deal with on the website when I made my appointment. I also paid to have my windshield wipers replaced at the same time, with parts and labor coming to around $70. Thanks, guys!

The administration and technicians were extremely helpful, very polite, and kind. My truck needed a new windshield and during the process of replacement I was informed that there was a leak underneath my engine. The manager (I assume) and techs identified where the leak was which was the brake fluid line. Once finished I was going to take the truck to a mechanic and realized that I had no brakes. Nothing. Staff helped push the truck out of the garage. I couldn't get towing service until the next morning. Staff said just leave it here until the next morning. The truck is now in the garage being fixed but being around people that were helpful and concerned made my day. Again, thank you Northampton Safelite staff I wish you well.

The safelite technician broke my rear view mirror. I have an electric auto dimming rear view mirror, and after letting the car sit for a couple days to make sure it was fully "curated", I left the house in it. I soon realized I had to adjust the mirror and when I did it fell off and was hanging by the wires! Mind you, this was while I was driving. I pulled over & was able to temporarily get it to stay up, but not in a position that I could see out of it. I tried calling Safelite but could only get a robot on the phone. I made a new appointment to get this fixed, and safelite was supposed to come to my house @ 8am with their mobile unit for the repair; the day of the repair I get a reminder email, and it says I have an appointment @8am in a random city that's not close by or the same location that originally replaced the windshield! I finally just brought it to get fixed myself, and it turns out the issue was the screw that held the mirror on was missing. I received absolutely NO customer service after the repair and having to pay out of pocket for the problem safelite caused is ubsurd! So much for having free glass Coverage on my insurance 😒 2 thumbs down for what should've been an easily resolvable issue but wasn't. 👎👎
