Karly Little
When driving back from vacation, a truck kicked up a rock and left about a 14 inch crack in our windshield. After doing some research, we realized that we wouldn't be able to simply have the crack patched and would need a whole new windshield. The tech met me at my workplace and had the new windshield installed in less than 45 minutes. He was super friendly and knowledgeable and even cleaned the rest of the truck's windshield while waiting for me to meet him outside! Great experience!

Overpriced! Bad installation! Warranty is a scam! Horrible communication! We've had 2 windshields break within a week of being installed, and the warranty is worthless as there are always some sort of chip to get them out of replacing it. 2 separate vehicles had the same story. Brand new windshield shattered after the smallest thing touches it. The warranty is worthless as it won't last long enough to need it. Tech lied and said it's a rock chip. There was no chip. It cracked from the installation. Another shop could not see any sort of chip and confirmed it was a stress crack. Also, be aware that it's impossible to talk to a real person to schedule or set up your appointment. I was ghosted by them for 2 weeks. Find a local shop that will take care of you, and you'll pay $150 less than what safelite charges for bad products and installations.

Can't give a price for a small chip sealant the size of maybe a grain of sand. They would rather quote a full wondow and ask for how i'm gonna pay before even attemping to help with the sealant price. This complaint is more towards the automated phone center that will not allow you to speak with someone without verifying how i'm paying. Would be nice to dial the number associated with the store and actually speak to someone at the store. Then the live text agent said they couldn't help.

Got to the shop 15 min earlier than appt and they still got me in right away. Gentleman that was in the office was very professional and took my concerns to heart. Just got this car at begining of Aug and a rock hit my windshield 3 weeks later. Got it scheduled and insurance paid for it to be filled and was very quick.ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentNot sure

Opted to do online, wanted to pay out of pocket. Price was $427.31 when doing quote. Yes it stated estimate, but I used my vin so they should’ve known about other tasks needed. I called to confirm price, and was made to complete the quote, so they could pull it up. I wasted all that time to find out the price went up more than $500. I told them I was very upset with the service provided. Went to Webb on 30th and price dropped by $400. Different time I used them, I stated I didn’t want to use my insurance, and they still filed a claim on the repair, which didn’t save me any money. I do not recommend and I’ll never use them or request a quote again.ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentOverpriced

I had an outstanding experience with Safelite AutoGlass in Wichita! From start to finish, the process was seamless, professional, and stress-free. Scheduling an appointment was incredibly easy, and they even offered the option to come to my location, which was super convenient. The technician arrived on time, was friendly and knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly before starting the work. The repair itself was quick, efficient, and high-quality. The pricing was very fair, and they worked directly with my insurance, making the whole process hassle-free. If you need auto glass repair or replacement in Wichita, I can’t recommend Safelite enough. Excellent service, great pricing, and a team that truly cares about their customers. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
