I was told to bring my vehicle in since it was an older model. They forgot to clamp the rearview mirror tightly. They took my Mighty Storm Guard Aero (silicone) Wiper Blades off throwing them away to put a lesser quality on as their resolution to what should have been a minor adjustment. If they had only consulted with me when they felt they could not make that adjustment, and given me the opportunity to decide the next course of action. then I would have given a better rating. I had to go and repurchase new wiperblades, and have them installed at my shop.

These guys are fantastic! I can't say enough good things about them. Polite, professional and did great work! John and Josh are amazing! Thank you so much for being a bright spot in an otherwise awful day. The shop is clean and comfortable, the employees are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them. The prices are good and the work was done well. I'm sending my fiance to get his truck's windshield replaced at Safelite! And don't forget, "Do not take your car through the car wash for at least 3 days after a windshield replacement!" I heard John tell about 5 different people that as I waited. Lol. Well done Safelite!

Extremely Disappointed – Poor Workmanship and Unprofessional Behavior In May 2023, I had the backglass of my Ford truck replaced at the SafeLite in Columbus, GA. Since I work from home and rarely drive the truck, I didn’t notice any issues right away. However, when I recently opened the vehicle, I was hit with a strong mold odor and discovered the rear floorboard carpet was soaked—right below where the new backglass had been installed. I checked all windows and found no other leaks. I attempted to schedule a warranty appointment online but was directed to call. After leaving a message, I received a callback and was scheduled for a technician to come to my home (we’re 45 minutes away) due to the mold odor. But on the Saturday before the appointment, I received a call saying the notes were unclear and I’d need to bring the truck in instead. After multiple calls and pushback, they eventually agreed to send a tech to us. The technician confirmed water was entering the vehicle but couldn’t determine the source—though he suspected it wasn’t from the brake light. A week later, following heavy rain, the carpet was soaked again. This time, I personally discovered a 1/4 inch gap beneath the center of the rear window—clearly missing sealant. I brought the truck back to the SafeLite location and showed the manager. At first, he blamed a screw, until he realized the same screw placement existed on the original glass with no issue. A water test confirmed the leak was at the seal. The manager then disappeared for 10 minutes, returned, and asked when the install was done. He claimed the warranty had expired after one year—but couldn’t show me anything in writing. When I asked for his name, he refused and walked away laughing. Completely unprofessional. SafeLite’s poor installation caused water damage, mold, and rusted seatbelt brackets. Despite confirming the leak, they denied responsibility and showed zero concern for the health risks, vehicle damage, or customer care. What I’m requesting: Free re-installation of the backglass Compensation for mold cleanup and damaged interior Written copy of the actual warranty policy Formal review of the manager’s conduct I’m beyond frustrated with this experience. I expected better from a national company.

Do not use Safelite for your windshield/window repairs. Worst experience ever. I had the windshield of my 2022 Honda pilot replaced on 01/10/22. The wind noise from the replacement is horrible. The vehicle sounds nothing like it did before the repair. They have replaced it two more times and still can't figure out what is causing the noise. On Friday, 02/04/22, they did a replacement for the third time. The condition they returned my vehicle to me is atrocious. Both my insurance company and I have called Safelite several times. My insurance company called them 02/04 after the last repair and was told someone would contact me from the company on Monday. No one called me, so I called them. I spoke with two separate people and was told the manager of the shop would call me. No one called me again, so I contacted my insurance company again. They called Safelite again and was assured the district manager would contact me today by the end of the day. So far I have not heard anything. This is unacceptable and infuriating. The sealant is visible inside my car. It looks like there is hot glue around the windshield. One of the windshield wipers hits the side of my car now. The sealant is messed up on the top of the windshield, they got black sealant all over the paint of my car, and the original issue isn't even fixed! Do not even consider using them for your repair.ServicesAuto windshield replacement

Took my car in for a windshield replacement. They ended up breaking the light/rain sensor while replacing the windshield. They tried to tell me that the wires were already ripped out of it with electric tape wrapped around the end. Now my headlights are on all the time, and my windshield wipers don't work. They keep giving excuses why they haven't called. No, the damage was not pre-existing it had the factory windshield still in it, and everything worked fine before the windshield replacement. (By the reply, it seems the owner likes making excuses for the part changers subpar work.) Update: After a few weeks of hearing nothing, I fixed their screwup. So if you don't have over 30 years of experience in automotive technology like me, best stay away from these morons.

Safelight came to me remotely to replace my windshield and did not replace mirror covers. Had to have them come back out on a "warranty service". Find out they put the 'windshield' and had to order another. New one came in and I had to go to the shop to replace. Looks like they did not replace the windshield, but rather put new covers on the mirror and wires. Was promised a tank of gas for my troubles and that did not happen. There is a 'chip' in my ceiling material from where I hear a hissing sound when I drive. I am having difficulty getting a hold of anyone at the store.
