The customer service is non-existent. No one returns your call. You NEVER reach a person, just a voicemail that no one ever responds to inquiries. The waiting area is terrible… no coffee, no water, no snacks, no vending machines, no television, no phone chargers, and poor seating!!! Terrible experience!!! Hope that you have an old car that does not require you to go to a calibration center!!! After 3 1/2 hrs of waiting, upon driving home discovered my heads-up display was crooked!! Try calling, no less than 20 times, you get a voicemail, but no one returns any messages. My display is still broken. Safelite Sucks!!! Will use a competitor in future!!

The service technician communicated well about his arrival time and he did good work. My complaint is with the company and their quoting system. The online quote was $288, but the actual checkout price was $350.95. I call this, "bait and switch". The quote of $288 did NOT include a $39.99 recycling fee AND taxes on the the window replacement AND taxes on the recycling fee. I feel that Safelite should give you an "out the door quote" (the total cost of the replacement with added fees and taxes), especially since they know they will be adding the recycling fee to every window replacement. Also, I am not sure that they should be adding taxes to the recycling fee. Just a heads up to other customers that the online quote is not the actual price of what you will be paying. You can expect to pay more that the online quote when you pull out your debit/credit card or checkbook.

My windshield was hit by a rock on Sunday and I thought nothing of it until I went out to my car on Tuesday morning and saw a crack almost halfway through the bottom. I couldn't deal with it then, I was literally on my way to the airport for a work trip. On Wednesday when I returned home, I started Googling places, knowing I had a 6 hour trip on Saturday, but I didn't even know where to start. Then I saw someone mention that they took insurance and it of curiosity I checked my car insurance. Sure enough, my insurance was willing to replace my windshield when hit by a rock. They recommended Safelite and it took my to their website to schedule. WOW! Not only could I have gotten a next day appointment, they were willing to come to me so that I didn't have to take off work! My Tech kept me well informed of his arrival time, and was so quick and professional. He was done in no time, and have me I instructions on how lo g to wait before washing the new glass. What I thought was going to be a painful experience was so easy! Thank you so much!

Had a chip in my windshield and opted to get it replaced before selling my vehicle. Gave up an entire Saturday afternoon for the replacement. Now I have to give up another entire Saturday afternoon for them to do the job properly. When putting in the new windshield they forgot to cut away the tinting so the VIN could be seen through the windshield as required. Also, I had a sensor attached to the windshield that no longer stays in place. The shop manager told me to tuck it up into the roof fabric so it wouldn't be in the way. I told him that prior to the replacement it was attached to the windshield, and following the replacement, I expect UT to be attached to the new windshield. They don't value their customers' time expecting them to give up valuable time off so they can repeat repairs that weren't done right the first time. They don't value customers' property by not being concerned about sensors being placed properly on the new windshield and expecting customers to deal with legal issues of having the VIN obscured. Until these issues are fixed, I can't even list my vehicle for sale. I regret getting the windshield replaced and should have just sold the vehicle with the chipped windshield. It would have been sold by now, but I'm stuck waiting for the job to be done right. I have no faith that they will get it right this time, as the manager said the employee who did the repair was solid and did good work. I requested someone else to come fix what the first one messed up. They got paid by my insurance company so they don't care about how inconvenient it is to me to not drive my vehicle or to give up a second spring Saturday in a row. I'll not use safelite again. I'll go to a locally owned autoglass shop where customers ate valued and the job is done right the first time. I wrote a review on their website and took the steps of verifying I wrote the review, but they wouldn't even show the review on their site. Guess they don't want others to know about their shotty work or disrespect for their customers.

Had my windshield replaced 3/1/25 by Chris R. @ Safelite. Not only did he introduce himself before starting the work, he took the time to answer my questions and completed the job fairly quick. He was only 1 of 2 techs that spoke to the customers before starting their work that morning. I would also mention that Abbey working the desk displayed excellent customer service skills with every customer that walked through the door during my visit in the waiting room. Although you cannot contact this location directly and I never received a confirmation e-mail before my appt like the person I originally set up my appt with said I would because they spelled my name incorrectly?? The process took less then 2 hours to complete. 👍

Got windshield replaced 01/25/25. After leaving the shop, a piece that borders the windshield flies off as we are driving not a mile down the road. We turn around to head back to the shop to let them know what happened and were told the part could not be ordered until Monday. On 01/31/25, we are told that the part was just ordered that morning. We will be going out of town, and expected this careless mistake to be corrected asap. Sadly, it was not a priority for Safelite to correct their negligence. After much back and forth with insurance company and Safelite corporate and local manager since then, we were finally told that the part was in and we’re scheduled for today, 02/10/25, to get it installed. Even got confirmation emails for the appt. Arrive to said appt today to be told the part was not in. Other than apologizing for “miscommunication” for the umpteenth time, they cannot correct THEIR mistake. We have called Regal Kia right down the road and they have the necessary part in stock to get our issue resolved. They are choosing not to.
