I had a cracked windshield and contacted Satellite for a repair. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable, and had my windshield fixed quickly and flawlessly. The work was top-quality, and they even cleaned up afterward, leaving everything spotless on my Tesla. I really appreciated the clear communication and fast turnaround. I highly recommend Satellite to anyone needing auto glass repair – they truly exceeded my expectations!

Safelite mobile service tech came to my home to replace my car's cracked windshield. The tech caused damage to my passenger side dash area during the replacement process. Tech made sure not to mention the damage and I became aware after the tech had already left. Tech asked me to come out and help put the replacement glass into position, which I did, and it's definitely not easy. It became crystal clear that windshield replacement really does require a Team of 2 people. This would help explain the cracked dash area because of the difficulty trying to control a large, heavy piece of glass by one person, whether the damaged glass is being removed or the new one is being set in place. As the tech is finishing up the job, I receive an email from Safelite advising me that the price I was quoted has now increased by $350 for no apparent reason. Went back outside to discuss this with the tech and made sure he understood very clearly what his options were. Tech called his office and just like magic the price returned back to normal. For anyone planning to use Safelite mobile repair, always check carefully for damage before they leave, especially the interior of your vehicle. Lesson learned.

I had a very disappointing experience with Safelite. After getting my windshield replaced, I immediately noticed poor workmanship — the weather stripping was misaligned, and I could actually see exposed paint along the edge. When I pointed this out to the technician before leaving, his response was simply, “That’s the way it is.” That’s unacceptable. Not only did they dismiss my concern, but they also sent me on my way in the rain without addressing the issue. It was clear that they didn’t care about the quality of the work or customer satisfaction. I expected a professional job from a company like Safelite, and instead, I’m left with subpar installation and no resolution. If you value your vehicle and want the job done right the first time, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Yesterday, I had an unfortunate experience of having my windshield cracked by a rock driving on the expressway. I heard such great things about Safelite auto glass that I decided to make an appointment with them for Thursday 6/26, to have my windshield repair. However, I have to say it’s probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a repair company, as well as the awful customer service. I drop my car off at 9 AM. I was told it was an all day drop off, I asked why was considered an all day drop off. The customer service rep at the office stated that it was due to my insurance company and my Insurance company considered it an all day drop off. I spoke to my insurance company, they stated that this wasn’t true and that Safelite just overbooks a lot of customers and prioritizes certain vehicle. My car was sitting there for 8 hours and wasn’t pulled into the garage to be fixed until 5:15 PM. I asked the technician how long it was going to take. He stated about 3 hours or so. He emphasize that the car wouldn’t be ready until around 8:15 to 8:30 PM. I felt this was very disrespectful for Safelite to have my car for 11 1/2 hours for a 3 hour job. I ask the technician to release my car so I could make arrangements with a different auto-glass company. I also asked for an email address or phone number to speak to someone in regards to my experience, no one could give me any information. So my other alternative was to leave a review on Google. Safelite should be a shame of themselves and they need to make an effort to do better.

Revised: I took the car back and they got it right this time. A tech glued it this time. I will keep an eye on it but will still use them again if needed. I was recommended by my insurance company to go to Safelite and have my windshield replaced. I went. They were very nice. They did the job and I was in and out in a couple hours the next day. The seal around the windshield popped up. I took it back And they told me That I must have an appointment to come back to have it redone. The appointment was two days later I go back and they take it and give it back to me within 30 minutes and the seal is popping up again. After I wrote a stellar review the first go round. I feel like I’m getting a runaround with them at this present time. This will be my second time going back tomorrow and if the job had been done right the first time I wouldn’t had to go back over again.

The person that greeted me at the front desk was so rude and condescending right from the get-go. I did not feel like I was a valued customer. I never got to meet the technician working on my car. I was lied to because every Email text and even the conversation I had booking the appointment all said that the appointment would take 2 to 3 hours. I was planning on staying and waiting the 2 to 3 hours but when I got there, I was told no those text and everything are just automated generations and I was gonna be 4 to 5 hours so I had to make last-minute arrangements that were very costly to me to get home. There is no way I can sit there for four or five hours and it did end up taking 4 to 5 hours for my car to get done I don’t feel they should tell people incorrect information. I wish I had the name of the person that greeted me. I asked her name and she says I don’t need that information That was rude even for her to say that overall I feel that the way I was treated by this particular shop was not very nice. I’ve used Safeway before where they’ve been able to come out to my home to replace my auto glass, but I was not able to do that this time because my car needs to be recalibrated so I had to go to them.
