Quik Fix Windshield Repair

My husband and I were driving between Chugwater and Cheyenne when a hefty rock hit our newly purchased Cadillac. We contacted several businesses that could not squeeze us in. Jim stated he normally doesn’t work on Saturdays but would help us out. We followed all the directions he gave us until we got to his in home business for the best results on the repair. This man is a friggin’ hero. He quite literally saved me from what would have been well over a week of not being able to earn an income (I use my car for work) while waiting for a ‘national brand’ to just evaluate my windshield and tell me that their shoddy warranty wouldn’t cover their even shoddier work. Meaning he also saved me from a SECOND $1100 bill or insurance claim for said ‘national brand’ to redo said shoddier work after it failed less than a month in. This man isn’t in it for the money, but he’s worth his weight in gold. He cares. And he’s GOOD at what he does. It was downright magical watching him work. I’m so thankful to him and his amazing wife. They let me come in *after hours* out of sheer kindness, and because of that what could have been thousands in lost wages and cost, plus more shoddy work that may well just have left me without a safe vehicle to use to earn my income for a third (fourth, fifth… eleventh… who knows) time mere weeks after completion, and then thousands MORE in lost wages and cost, became a couple hours of one evening and no lost wages, at a fraction of the cost. I cannot overstate how incredibly grateful I am for him. He has a new customer for life in me.

Jim couldn't possibly have known the kind of day I was having, but his kindness was just what I needed. Not only did he do an amazing job on the very difficult bottle cap crack right in the middle of my windshield, but he did it with the professionalism and simple kindness that is so hard to find in today's world. Just an incredibly nice guy. I was driving home got some nasty dings in my car windshield around 4pm. He fit me in late in the evening, stayed open after business hours, and saved the windshield. I ended up having 4 dings in total, 3 which were pretty gnarly. I thought for sure I would have to get it replaced - nope! Incredibly honest and helpful business. Jim is so gracious, knowledgeable and efficient. Quik Fix should be your ONLY choice for windshield repair in Cheyenne. Not only was he understanding after I arrived a half hour late, but he also guided me towards utilizing my full coverage insurance to pay for the service (no out of pocket expense!). On top of that, my car was absolutely filthy after a 2500 mile road trip. He cleaned my entire windshield and provided some glass cleaner and paper towels for me to use on the inside. I called to ask a question about a crack spreading in my windshield. The man who spoke to me was so helpful! He actually told me there’s not a lot I can do at this point (since I’ve messed it up going through the car wash). He explained that although someone could drill a hole to fill it, he wouldn’t recommend it as I’d just be wasting money. It’s always wonderful talking to principled folks.
