I had a very good experience with NuView. Let me go back to August 2023. I had a crack in my windshield, which I thought could not be repaired, and the windshield would need to be replaced. I made an insurance claim with AAA, since the windshield would cost $1,100 (2021 Audi Q5). AAA had Safelite repair it. Safelite billed AAA $80. Fast forward to the present. I observed a small stone chip and called Safelite (Safelite repairs, Safelite replace - commercial I see all of the time) and was asked if it was an insurance claim. No, I was paying out of pocket. I was quoted $300, and they were replacing the wipers also. I said I don't need wipers, just the stone chip repaired. I was given a $179 quote. I advised them last year they billed my insurance for $80 for a repaired. I was told this repair would cost $179. I remembered driving past Nu-View, but I couldn't remember the name. Friday, July 19, 2024, at approximately 4:30 pm, I went there and was given a $75 quote, and was offered an appointment the next day (Saturday) at 10am. I was there at 10am, and done by 10:15 am. The repair is barely visible. My assumption as to why Safelite is so expensive, is they have to pay for all of the commercials. Any windshield damage from now on, for me, will be repaired here at Nu-View.

I had the best experience with Craig and Ryan the Wednesday before thanksgiving. A rock had chipped my windshield not 2 miles up the road from their shop so when I saw their sign I stopped in hoping they could help. They got me in almost right away, in between finishing up the customers they already had. I waited maybe 20 minutes total and my windshield was as good as new! They were both very polite, extremely helpful and beyond accommodating. I also appreciate their fair pricing as well, I had expected to cost quite a bit more. I’ll definitely be going back should I ever need glass repair again.

Pulled a 28 ft. travel trailer from Florida up to Canada. Coming back through Detroit, we answered our question about whether or not the trailer would jack knife with our Expedition and shattered the rear quarter panel window in the process. Probably could have avoided this mistake if my rear view mirrors weren't obscured by the same rain that prevented duct tape from holding garbage bags over the opening securely. SafeLite was my first guess at a fast fix, and despite what their impressive ad campaign promises, the soonest appointment I could get within 50 miles was a week. Called Nu View and got a brand new window installed less than 24 hours later while we waited less than 2 hours at a coffee shop down the street. From the first call, communication was excellent. We were able to text a photo leaving no room for any doubt that we were all talking about the same window to make sure they ordered the right part number. The guys even would have picked us up had we thought to ask when they called to let us know the job was complete. The price was lower than SafeLite, and they did a great job cleaning up the broken glass in the back and were careful to caution us to go over it again ourselves before loading in the dogs that ride back there just to make certain our pups are as safe as possible. Nu View made sure our potential vacation ruiner was nothing more than a little bump in the road. Wish we hadn't needed them, and we're very impressed with how fast and how well the awesome folks at Nu View met our needs.

I've had service with them twice now, once for a chip repair, which was fast and easy! He even let me know what to do, in the event of another chip happening, to minimize my damage. After having just had my windshield replaced by them for an unfortunate big chip, not only did they attempt to fix the chip beforehand, but advised me on my options with no pressure. They walked me through how to do an insurance claim, which saved me a lot of money, and the service was very speedy! My windshield was professionally placed, looks amazing, and they gave me clear and great instructions on how to care for it in the first 24 hours to maximize the sealing process. He assured me he would do his best to get me in and out during my lunch break, and he kept his promise. Suzanne, who rang me in, was professional, polite, and had great phone etiquette while speaking with both customers and those calling for inquiries. Both Suzanne and Ryan took the time to explain the warranty process, which I really appreciated. Ryan even went above and beyond by personally driving my vehicle to the door when the repair was complete. The level of professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail was outstanding. Will never get any glass work done anywhere else. This team is 5 star in every category you could think of. Responds quickly, Answers all questions, Works done professionally, works done fast, Appointment wise they get you in either same day or next day usually. I have had 2 different vehicles worked on there. One being a Jeep. Famous for windshield replacements I dont think i have ever driven it without a craxked windshield unfortunately. Not Nu-View issue or faulty parts. Jeep Poor design causes this. Long story these professionals were fast and best priced and fastest yet out of any competitors.
