I was given quotes for windshield replacement through two other local businesses that were literally 4x's the amount Mr. Windshield charged me. They are honest and more-than-reasonable. They were the only company that told me that my specific vehicle type didn't need recalibration with my new windshield. The other companies wanted to add an additional $350-$480 for that alone, when it wasn't even necessary. Kudos to Mr. Windshield for being honest with the consumer. I called and they had my windshield in stock and told me to head over now. In just over an hour I was on my way to work w/ my new windshield installed. I'm grateful for a business who is not greedy and didn't gouge, as clearly so many others are and do!

I’ve used mr.windshield twice. Once for a chip and now for a total replacement. I paid cash for my chip repair; I didn’t want to involve my insurance for a tiny issue. The girls did inform me I could use the $40 toward my replacement. I used my insurance with the replacement and both situations mr windshield was great to work with! The girls at the desk were very helpful and honest. You can make an appointment easily and they are quick to do the work. You can have them come to you but there is a fee. I highly recommend them. I would have given them 5 stars but upon arrival to get my mom's windshield done, I request a quote online. I gave them all the info, name, number, VIN, etc. I was given a quote of 175$ out the door. I called to confirm price & appointment time as told to do in the email. When my mother arrived to get it done, she was told it would be 150$ more because of something that came with her windshield. Due to her being 40 minutes from home she got it done anyways. Once done & left, she had to return days later because her washer fluid hose was pinched from the service & had to be fixed by them. When she told them about the price issue, they simply told her it was a miscommunication & sorry. They offered nothing more. After not honoring THEIR quote & not doing anything for both inconveniences, that's why they get 1 star from me. Gotta be better to your customers.

I ended up coming to Mr. Windshield, after a last minute cancellation at a different windshield replacement facility due to a power outage. The customer service at Mr. Windshield was very good, they helped me processed my insurance claim to get a new windshield, they waived my $50 deducible, and they transferred my remote start adhesive to the new windshield, but the other two items on my windshield, I asked them to remove the items, and they did. I was in and out in exactly 1 hour. I noticed in the waiting room, there was a lot of repeat customers, so they must be doing something right if a lot of repeat customers are coming back to them. I would recommend coming here. The photos shown are the photos of my new windshield. They put the XYG windshield on my Honda CRV. So far, so good! Remember you get what you pay for. I had an appointment with another company and someone recommended this place. So I called and took my car in for a chipped windshield. When they told me they fixed it. I went out to look at it before I paid. It looked the same. I said something to the receptionist and she said that’s how it’s supposed to be you signed this piece of paper. She was very rude about it. There was nothing they could do about it. I paid them and was very upset. I wasted my money. I showed a friend of mine who works for a collision shop and they said if they supposedly fixed it shouldn’t be there. I will be paying for it to be fixed again at the original shop I hired to do it.

Overall the installation of my windshield seems good, no broken trim as others have mentioned, the glass seems to be in good shape. Time will tell if the install holds up. That seems to be where the good ends. When my car was returned to me I first noticed small black clumps all over my hood, roof and console. I assume this was excess epoxy from the install. Next the interior door trim of my car was covered in mud. (see picture) I wish I would have paid the extra $50 to have my vehicle serviced in my driveway by another company. At least then I wouldn't be spending my afternoon scrubbing hardened epoxy off my paint and washing my carpets.NegativeProfessionalismServicesAuto windshield replacement
