Mr Auto Glass

Can't say enough good things about Mr. Auto Glass in Dover. I was the unfortunate recipient of a rock to the windshield thanks to a semi. I initially reached out to safelite who quoted me a reasonable rate for both repair and replacement options. Then I started to research Safelite in the area and came to find that their service is inconsistent (depends on who the technician is). After further research and asking around, I decided to call Mr. Auto Glass. I called them after they were closed on a Saturday and chose not to leave a message. To my surprise, Monday morning I received a call from them proactively. Brought my car in on Tuesday and Leo quickly determined the windshield could be repaired vs. replaced. Honestly, he could have told me it needed to be replaced, and I wouldn't have known the difference. Leo did an amazing job on the crack (actually 2 cracks) and I can barely tell it is there. The icing on the cake = it was $100 less than Safelite quoted me for the repair! Highly recommended. Happy I found my go-to auto glass place. PS - While I waited Mark (owner) and I chatted and I learned more than I ever wanted to know about auto glass :-). Overall, great guys, great service and great pricing.

Last summer when our rear-door window got broken I was concerned about getting it fixed by Mr. Auto Glass because their price was so much better than their nearest competitor. However, they fixed the window perfectly and promptly, and I promised to use them again the next time I needed glass work. Unfortunately, that was just last week when a falling tree branch broke our 2003 Jetta's windshield, tore the rearview mirror off our door, and put a small dent in the roof above the windshield. For the sake of insurance we got one estimate from a body shop, and the other from Mr. Auto Glass. Once again their price was substantially lower, they went out of their way to find an affordable replacement for the mirror, did a great job installing a new windshield, and to our surprise even banged out the dent so that you can hardly see it. The people are friendly, and are clearly dedicated to helping their customers by getting the job done right, and at the right price. Excellent business. These guys are really knowledgeable and take pride in their work. Mark and his team replaced the cracked windshield on my brand new Mazda. They ordered the windshield, worked directly with my insurance company and made the process easy. They were friendly and happy to answer my questions. Even with all the tech in modern cars these days (cameras, sensors, etc.), it was clear from the start that they know what they're doing. 12-29-2022. I Called Mr. auto glass and spoke to Leo initially and right from the get-go, he was super professional and helpful. I did not yet file my claim with my insurance when I called and he advised that he would help me with it – and that he did! I went to the shop and we called Geico together and he helped me with my claim, got the reference number that he needed and completely eliminated the back-and-forth hassle between the insurance and their establishment… As well as myself. Being a woman, sometimes you are leery about dealing with people snd getting when advantage of…but NOT the case here! Today I dealt with Mark on the day that I’m picking up my car and advised that this was such a seamless and pleasurable experience and I will write a review. The windshield on my pickup was damaged by a tractor trailer tire; the trailer tire blew apart on the highway and a chunk of the tire smashed my windshield. Since my truck is a 1986, the big TV glass company considers it a classic vehicle and doesn't deal with it. I called Mr. Auto Glass; they had no problem ordering the replacement windshield, and I scheduled the replacement. They were ready when I arrived and quickly removed my old windshield. They installed the new one, and even reattached my rear view mirror perfectly. The staff were pleasant and the whole experience was very simple. I highly recommend them!

The owner is the epitome of the very best in customer service. That is enough for me to be a repeat customer (I am). Also, his price was way better than other windshield replacement service companies. He replaced my daughter's car's windshield and when she noted that it had distortion he replaced it (twice) at no charge. The owner is super nice and even refused my offer of some compensation for the additional work. I highly recommend anyone with a damaged windshield to go here.
