Middletown Auto Glass & Upholstery gave us a great deal and great service on a new vinyl ragtop with heated glass for our 2009 Mustang. We bought the car in late 2010 and the electrical harness/connector to the heated glass was already broken off at that time -- Ford warranty would not cover it; they could easily argue that after market window tinters damaged it (tinting was also in place when we bought the car -- at least we got a good deal on the car). I managed to glue / solder the harness back in place a couple of times, but we've been making do for years without heated back glass, which is a must-have for a ragtop. I also patched a small puncture in the top a while back. So, we were long overdue for a replacement. I did some research in Mustang forums and elsewhere to figure out a reasonable price for a new top. There are only a couple of manufacturers of these roofs and they both use the same vinyl. Middletown gave us they best price we could expect; by my calculation, a Ford dealer would have charged at least 50% more. Middletown did the install in one day -- dropped off Sunday; picked up midday Tuesday -- and the new top is gorgeous. The heated glass works better than the one in our new Mazda3. Middletown also removed all the old scratched up after market tinting on the side windows at a fair price. They even cleaned out all the grime that had built up in the well that the ragtop folds into. Thanks guys!

I called and spoke to Don on October 31, 2017. I explained that I was wanting to get the seats in my Camaro recovered. I told him that I would break the seats down myself (I used to do that in an upholstery shop where I worked) and bring him the seat covers for him to sew. The material was a special order. Bob explained that it was a slow time of the year and gave me a price. Once my material arrived I took that and my seat covers to his place. He said that he didn't remember giving me that price. I asked him what the new price would be. The price had doubled, and even at that, he said that it would only be for the seat inserts and not the entire seat. I could tell that they were working on other things and now I'm stuck with $300 worth of fabric and my seats are apart. I will never do business with this place ever again.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I own a '94 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon and accidentally destroyed the passenger seat vinyl with battery acid. I couldn't find anyone who would repair but was eventually referred to Middletown Auto Glass & Upholstery. I went to the small “mom & pop” business to get a quote. This place is old school, and I mean that as a compliment. I was quoted a fair price. They took my seat out and I told them there was no rush, as I knew they would have to special order the vinyl. I also knew the color might be an exact match. Wow, was I surprised when, within 10 days, I received a call my seat was finished. I went to the shop and was blown away by the result. Not only was the color spot on but the repair of the seat was hand stitched with additional padding in the seat. This was one of the best auto repair experiences of my life (I am 60 years old). I recommend this business to ANYONE who needs auto glass and upholstery work. This shop may be the one of the last businesses where craftsmen actually work their job as an art.

I have had great experience with this business. I have come to them for headliner replacement and interior replacement. I have brand new leather seats which were once cloth. I have also had them replace my windshield for me in the past. It was done on a timely manner. Great customer service and great pricing.

Due to wear and tear i had the driver's seat bolster fabric replaced. The repair was stitched much looser than originally, which i initially accepted until i noticed they had not even replaced the missing chunk of foam under the fabric. I took it back and had to pay more (amount was half the price of the original repair) to have them tighten up the stitching and replace the missing foam... Just your standard carefree business, cut corners and try to pass you sloppy work to get your dollar...

Not a clue! I needed a quarter panel glass replaced on a BMW. I called them and they told me they couldn’t get the glass it was a dealer only item. So I ordered the glass and called them back after I received it. I scheduled an 8:30 appointment 10 days out. On the day of the appointment they had no clue. No record of the appointment, it appears they have no scheduling system at all. So they told me I would just have call back to schedule an appointment. Not a chance.
