Outstanding service from Jorge and Carlos! I was in a tough spot as my windshield wasn’t cracked, but the seal was coming off and the weather-stripping was loose. I wasn’t sure if it needed glue, rebonding, or a full replacement. I called around but couldn’t find anyone willing to assess the issue without insisting on a full glass replacement...until I called KD Auto Glass. Jorge was incredibly patient over the phone, walking me through possible scenarios, quoting fair prices for each, and even offered to take a look that same day—within 2 hours. After our call, I texted him photos of my car, and he confirmed the appointment right away. When I arrived with my dad, Jorge had already pulled the matching windshield from the warehouse, just in case. He brought us into the garage and thoroughly assessed the problem right in front of us. Turns out, not only was my windshield loose, but it hadn’t been properly bonded at all! A previous mobile service had done a shoddy job—Jorge even showed us the poor bonding application that didn't even reach the full base perimeter, which didn’t meet manufacturer standards. He took the time to explain the issue was improper decontamination during the prior install. Jorge clearly laid out my options: reapply the old glass or go with the higher-quality replacement he had ready. His transparency and professionalism made it an easy decision—we went with the new glass. He even was able to save my toll road sticker and apply it to my new windshield. Though he originally estimated 1.5 hours, the whole job, including proper bonding and drying, was done in just an hour!! (Included before and after photos. The after photo is in their garage.) Both Jorge and Carlos were friendly, honest, and efficient. The repair was affordable, and their work was top-notch. We’ll definitely be back with our other cars! I was in a panic where I needed to replace my windshield from the night before. I called KD Windshield and explained my situation to Jorge and he instantly ordered and replaced my windshield. He was very respectful, and to the point. It took at most 40 mins. Ooh this also happened on a Saturday morning!! I highly recommend KD Auto Glass, in Ontario, CA. They offer both mobile and in-shop services for auto glass replacement and rock chip repair, along with windshield recalibration as needed. The service I received from KD Auto Glass was outstanding. Jorge who came to my residence evaluated the rock chip damage about less than the size of a penny on the windshield of my MB gla250 and repaired it right there and after about a half of an hour, it was just like magic. The rock chip damage was gone and the windshield was crystal clear. Jorge was great. He was very polite, respectful and knowledgeable of the trade. He explained everything in detail and asks for confirmation before he proceeds. He works very clean. I highly recommend KD Auto Glass for all your vehicle glass repair/replace needs. I'm so glad I did my research and came across Jorge and KD Auto Glass. Mercury Insurance tried to send me elsewhere. Upon looking at their recommendation for windshield replacement, I said there had to be a better shop. Here comes KD Auto Glass. Jorge responded quickly to my inquiry. Confirmed estimate with insurance the next day and picked up the new windshield. Installation and recalibration the day after that. Glass is flawless. Work was done so quickly. I'm extremely satisfied with the work they put in. The correspondence with Jorge was clear and detailed. I truly value the customer service they provided. Would recommend this company 100%.
