JRD Windshield Repair & Replacement

Very pleased with the quality of work in terms of my windshield replacement, and I can’t praise Jeremy, Rebecca, and Laura’s customer service enough, but I’m disappointed in the lack of care and disregard for cleanliness after the work had been done by the techs. Residue/particles of materials were left on my seats and dashboard, and there are several scuffs and dirt marks on my passenger door siding, presumably where they had to stand to install the windshield. I’m a big proponent of treating other’s items with care and respect and would like to think it takes seconds to clean a mess that was a result of your work. The apathy in that regard is upsetting, but the work was quick and the claim process was incredibly easy. UPDATE: Jeremy and his team reached out to me immediately after seeing my review and they were adamant on making things right and I can’t speak highly enough of the grace in which they operate with and positive experience they want their customers to have. I will absolutely come back to JRD when I need glass work done and I can’t recommend this local business enough. I think I even made a friend in the process!

I've used the services of JRD twice. The first one was last year when they repaired the windshield of my car. The service was fast, good, and you almost can't see where the chip was. The second time was yesterday for our SUV that unfortunately had a bigger chip because of the windshield being hit by a rock. The chip was borderline repairable. The guys at JRD, specifically Anthony, did a great job repairing it. Although is more noticeable than the one we repaired last year, the repair job came out great considering the circumstances. Again, the service was fast and good. Our car had an attempted break in on a Thursday and ALL other windshield repair services either gave us a one week lead time or cancelled the day of the appointment on Monday. Unlike the other businesses, JRD appears to be actually locally owned and operated and everyone who works there actually cares about the business. Both the owner who took the initial call and the employee who coordinated the day of work, took matters into their own hands to get the job done. Not only did they show up on time, they provided solutions to problems they found on site and were very communicative in the process. This may seem like very simple feedback but when you can't use your car for 5 days and everyone else tosses you around from dispatch to dispatch, it was so nice to talk 1:1 with a solutions oriented provider. thank you for your services!

Steven was absolutely amazing. He even waited for me for over 15 minutes while it took me a little bit to get back to my house where we were supposed to meet. He was very quick at the job and finished it in a timely manner and as very professional Job, my window works perfectly and it’s like it was never broken, they also helped me out on a day where I had a very personal situation happened as to why my window got broken. I made sure to fit me in in the same day. I highly recommend this company. They’re great!

Jeremy, the owner, is awesome! But, the people who installed the windshield was equally awesome as well! I had the windshield on my BMW X5 replaced—it has Driving Assist and a HUD. Unfortunately, the new glass didn’t perform like the original. The HUD display wasn’t as crisp, the text looked italicized, and circles appeared more like ovals. Plus, when I moved my head side to side, the blurriness got worse—which shouldn’t happen. That said, the team seems very solution-oriented. They assured me the replacement glass is from OEM brands and should be identical to the original. They’re planning to replace it again, and I really appreciate their willingness to make things right. I’ll update this review once I see how the new one turns out. Hope they don’t waste this mutual good feelings. Update: They solved the problem. It was a defective glass. 10/10 work, I would recommend them to everyone!

It doesn’t look the nicest on the outside if we’re being honest but what matters is if they’re honest, do good work and have a good price. I have to say they meet all 3 of those criteria, you can expect to pay depending on the location/difficulty of the crack/if ya pay cash, get a return discount or whatever between 30-70 with 40-70 being more realistic with what you’ll pay. So it’s definitely a good price, best part is if you fixed a crack/chip and the windshield continues to get worse the amount ya spent on the initial repair can be used to take off the price of a full windshield replacement! So on the price point it’s good The person who worked on my crack was honest and said depending on if the resin sets will determine if the crack will spread, but since the resin did set with my windshield that it shouldn’t spread. I knew that to be the case since I should have honestly gotten it fixed sooner but he kept it real with me. I only spent about 15-20 minutes there, I went during the day during the week so it wasn’t too busy and I was helped right away. They got to work right away and they did a good job from what I can tell. They did get resin to enter the crack so it should be good. It’s reassuring that they were honest and walked me through the process while they were working on it. The work was quick and good and while the crack couldn’t be completely made to look like brand new (fyi if ya get a chip/crack fixed it typically still looks like the chip is there when fixed BUT it’ll prevent spreading and having to replace a windshield), and they fixed it and you can still see remnants of the original crack but overall I’m happy with the service I got and would recommend this place to family and friends. Hopefully I don’t have an issue like this again but if I do I’ll definitely be back
