Update: Since posting this review, Hi-Tech Auto Glass has made it right. They replaced the defective windshield with the original brand I had originally requested & paid for, and provided excellent service during the follow-up. I truly appreciate them stepping up and following through. While the initial experience was frustrating, they handled the resolution with professionalism, and I’m glad to say the issue is now fully resolved. I had my windshield replaced by Hi-tech Auto Glass on June 7th. Right after the install, I pulled out of my garage to run errands and I noticed two pits in my direct line of sight. I immediately called the office (before I hd even driven anywhere), and was told “that can happen while driving” - putting the onus on me. I reiterated, I hadn't driven anywhere yet. They did send a tech out to inspect the glass, who confirmed the pits are on the inside of the windshield and can’t be repaired. I was told they would get me new glass, but despite following up multiple times (including in writing/text), I haven’t received a response for weeks. Having paid over $1,000 for this replacement, I’m frustrated with both the defective windshield and the lack of customer service. I’d be more than happy to update this review if they step up and resolve the issue, but at this point, it’s been nearly two months without resolution. Not what I expected for the price or the promise of service.

I had a terrible experience with this company when they replaced my windshield. They failed to properly fix the molding on the top of my car, which came off after they replaced my windshield. They sent out a technician who proceeded to put blue tapes and said he will be back in two days but never did. When I contacted them to resolve the issue, they refused to repair it unless I paid an additional charge. They refused to connect me with a manager, and gave me the runaround. I have been driving around with a defective windshield for over a week due to their lack of responsiveness and poor customer service. I cannot recommend this business to anyone. Their unwillingness to take responsibility and resolve the problem is unacceptable. I will be reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau. Avoid this company if you value your time and money!

I wish I could think of something good to say about this company. They are really undeserving of 1 star. In July, 24, I hired High Tech to repair a chip. The technician that showed up did not read the order correctly and he removed my window! The company did put in another window and I was assured it would be calibrated for the eye sight to continue working. Everything appeared ok. I typically use a car wash so don't actually wash the window myself. In Sept. I did just that. Much to my dismay, my hand went completely between the glass and trim toward the hood of the car. Immediately contacted High Tech, another tech was sent out. His first question is who installed this window????? He laughed when I explained the sequence of events, recalling when it happened. He removed all the trim and windshield wipers and attempted to get the trim set correctly. It appeared ok until I went to the carwash and trim flew off. Upon further inspection and attempting to click the trim back in, my untrained eye spied the 1/4" gap between the window and the frame, running the length of the drivers side. There is no way the trim will ever click in. I've since had the window replaced by Subaru and learned that window cannot be recalibrated in a parking lot. Ive also learned that the car eye sight was not working as it couldn't read though the glass not approved for my car, nor was it properly sealed. Honestly, Ive learned more that I ever wanted about proper auto glass installation, so I guess that would be a positive. And a super expensive lesson. This company, specifically the manager is radio silent. Use caution when choosing this company. Unbelievable, but all true. Good Luck

THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE MOST INCOMPETENT AND DISASTROUS WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALING WITH! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY! THE COMPANY SENT AN INEXPERIENCED AND UNPROFESSIONAL TECHNICIAN WHO MANAGED TO DAMAGE MY DOOR PANELLING WHILE ATTEMPTING TO REPLACE MY WINDSHIELD. NOT ONLY DID THEY FAIL TO INSTALL THE WINDSHIELD PROPERLY, BUT THEY ALSO LEFT MY VEHICLE IN A WORSE STATE THAN BEFORE. AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO REACH OUT TO THE OWNERS AND RESOLVE THE ISSUE, I HAVE RECEIVED ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE OR APOLOGY FROM THE COMPANY OWNERS. NOW, I AM LEFT WITH NO CHOICE BUT TO FILE AN INSURANCE CLAIM AGAINST THEM FOR THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSED! PLEASE SEE THE PHOTOS BELOW ALONG WITH THE VERIFIED INSURANCE CLAIM NUMBER FOR REFERENCE!! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!
