Halsted Auto Glass

I love this place. Great and fast customer service. I was in and out in no time. Someone busted out my rear door window last week. I called these guys and took care of me right away. This past Saturday morning, I brought my car to the shop. I was out in 30-40 minutes. The price is right @ Halsted Auto Glass. I highly recommend this place.

My car was broken into around 9-10 PM. That morning I was able to call, come by asap and have 2 new windows installed on my passenger side within a matter of 2-3 hours. My windows were originally tinted but the ones they had in stock were not. I was given the first pair to get me through and told to come back the next day when the tinted windows would be delivered n installed free of charge. All for less than$300.

I’ve been here twice. Both times they’ve outdone themselves. This last time I needed a new windshield. They explained the proximity sensors will need to be recalibrated. Drove out of there and sensors are working properly. It’s was a busy morning for them, they told me it’d be about an 1hr 15min wait, I was out of there in an hr. Don’t know if it will happen for others but this experience was a Godsend, especially in this economy. For reference I was quoted almost $1500 at Nissan dealership for windshield and calibration they insisted I’d need. And other places quoted about $700-$800 for the same service. Oh wow, this place is a life saver! Long story short, my car was broken into during an attempt to steal it. In the process, the back passenger window was shattered. The next morning, we found Halsted Auto Glass. Reached out to them was given a very reasonable price for and was told to bring the car in. We did so, and the service was excellent from beginning to end. We were initially told it would take 2-3 hours. The repair was less than an hour. We left there very happy and well pleased! 😊

Such quality work. Quick process, inexpensive prices and they offer both new and used glass depending on your budget. I drove in from MI bc some asshat tried to steal my grandmothers vehicle. I called them at 4:55 and was told they could do it same day if I arrived by 5:15. Well, due to Chicago’s traffic I arrived at 5:20. I explained I had just called and they’re working on it rn (5:30). I’m gonna recommend this place to anyone who’s in the market for replacement glass. Talk about SERVICE!!!! I wish I could give them 10 stars.

So my passenger side view mirror was shattered and I needed to get it fixed. I called this place and was quoted a price over the phone. I stopped by next day and my mirror was replaced within 15 mins and I was on my way. This place is very professional, affordable, and timely. I appreciate the great customer service and now my mirror has been replaced. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.
