Do not go to glasshopper. The employees there have a temper and are extremely passive aggressive. First off The older installer lost my second key in the driveway and claimed no key was on the key chain but I found it next to my car when he brought it back. Second and Most importantly they cannot get my windshield weather stripping to stay on. This is the 4th time my weather stripping has come off of the windshield In 6 months since I had my wind shield repaired. I'm going to be forced to go to another glass company because it is blatantly obvious they are not capable. They didn't even have the courtesy to remove the sticker off of the new weather stripping. Third and finally their management team is extremely unorganized on the 3rd time I needed my weather stripping replaced because they failed to adhere it to the mounts I called and spoke with someone who would schedule me and call me back when they got the weather stripping in. Repeat customer. Replacing windshields isn't cheap, but Glasshopper does good work and doesn't jack up the price with extra nonsense. I really appreciate that, and will go back to them as long as they keep being this way. Their work was fast too, I dropped my car off the night before and they had it ready before noon the next day. I have one of those cameras that helps keep you in your lane, and since they didn't disturb it putting the new windshield in, they didn't need to adjust and charge me for that. I was driving northbound through Salt Lake on I-15 going 75 mph (speed limit is 70) in the HOV lane and a Glasshopper van was tailgating me extremely bad. Following so closely I felt unsafe. I had all my kids in the car and wanted out but couldn’t cross the double white lines. As soon as he could pass me, he flew by and cut me off. The HOV lane is not then fast lane or meant to be used for passing. Ironically, I have been needing a windshield replacement and I definitely know who not to call. Not sure why you would represent your company so poorly and drive so terribly in a fully marked company vehicle.

Be warned of an incompetent business with rip off prices and horrible customer service due to their own mistakes. Made an appointment for my Trucks passenger window. Took a half a day off work to drive here and get it done. Appointment for 1pm. Left the truck and took my wife to get a nice lunch. Only to be called back 20 minutes later and told they not only ordered the wrong passenger window. But also misquoted me on the price. Told me it would be $135 more than what I was quoted. So I've taken a half day off of work. Making less money for the day, and now I didn't even get my window replaced. The quote they gave me now, is over $100 more than anywhere else. While mistakes happen, when it's a mistake that cost the customer not only their time, but their money as well is not the way to do business. Go anywhere but here. This place is a joke and a rip-off.

I believe as a company tu have to go above and beyond for your customers I run my own business and this is my philosophy and in my most recent experience at this place it didn’t happened, you have to prepare for the unexpected and you have to double check your orders and make sure they are right if you customers is choosing you over a number of other places is for a reason you have to respect their time not only that customer is losing time and money but you as a company as well because you don’t know how much business this new single customer will bring to your establishment specially being a new location. Customer service was good specially the manager it was some safety issues that she explained to me but still you as a company need to be prepared for the unexpected and I believe she did not have enough support from a higher level on these types os situations my rating is not for the employees of this location is for the company for the lacking of support to their employees and to waste people’s time and money.ServicesAuto windshield replacement

I used Glasshopper recently to replace two of my windshields. The first car has an air leak which let's cold air (and loud noise) in. I called them and complained and the guy showed up the next day with a caulking gun to 'fix it' - his solution did nothing and I still have the air leak after spending hundreds of dollars on the windshield and dealership calibration. My second car was fine... for 3 weeks. Yesterday a HUGE crack appeared across the entire glass. There were no rock chips - just a huge crack. We called a DIFFERENT company and they immediately came out to fix it. When the guy took the old one off he noticed that Glasshopper failed to RECONNECT our defroster! What a joke. So unprofessional.
