Called a few places around to price a windshield repair, and see how soon the repair could happen. Most places told me they were about a week out, but thankfully around 5 pm I called 5 stars auto glass and they told me they could be out to my house next day! And they were a few bucks cheaper than the other quotes. They gave me a 2 hour window of when the technician would arrive, 3–5. At about 320 I got a call from the tech and he was on his way, and would arrive in less than 30 minutes. He arrived in about 15 and promptly got to work! They were able to take my card payment over the phone, and I was not charged a fee like some places so that was great! And here it is 413 and they are already done and my windshield looks great! Thanks 5 stars auto glass! They definitely deserve a 5 star rating, and if needed in the future I would absolutely call them again!

Our car got broken into while we in Portland for the weekend. I started messaging businesses on Saturday evening but couldn't get to anyone as most auto shops were closed on Sundays; Albert responded quickly on Sunday; he had the glass available for our make and model and said he could get it done by Monday morning and offered us a safe space to park overnight at his shop. We couldn't be more grateful that we found his shop - the speed, quality and price at which they fixed our side window was 10/10. It was around 270~ to get our window fixed which was extremely reasonable. Woke up this morning at 12:30AM to hear my car alarm going off and I’m like, just great 🤦‍♂️ because I have a ton of appointments in the morning and this is the last thing i need to deal with! So I started calling around. These guys picked up their phone at 7:50AM, told me they had the window in stock and I could come in right now and get it replaced. I called my insurance prior and earliest appointment they had for me was the next day at 1pm. 5 Star auto glass not only saved me because it was raining cats and dogs out but the price was lower than all the other companies I called for OEM glass. Didn’t have to push out any appointments and my day was able to conveniently go on! Super friendly and accommodating! They have a covered waiting area with heaters! Great small business! Support these guys! They are soo awesome and lifesavers!

I went to this establishment today to get my front window fixed, the ladies working were very friendly however the gentleman who replaced my window unfortunately ran over his own tools with my car as he backed the car out after the repair as well as broke the cover of my PRNDL in the center console despite working on my window and nothing in my car. (I can only assume from when he was vacuuming the broken glass). I let staff know and they had the manager come in. This manager was the most disrespectful person I’ve ever dealt with in the service industry. Not only did this man accuse me of lying saying that I wanted damage on my car fixed for free and implying the damage on my car from an accident two years prior was probably what broke the cover (why would I be making a deal about a COVER and not the extensive damage done to my car if I was trying to get something fixed for free makes no sense). As the MANAGER continued to tell me I was wrong I stated I was going to go through an attorney and just wanted to leave at this point he stood in front of my open driver door trying to take pictures of me and my car and not allowing me to leave. We argued and he then tried to slam my car door on me to which I yelled that he needed to get his hands off my property and let me go. He then started shouting and telling me to get out of my car to fight. I pulled into a gas station nearby to take photos of the establishment for reference and this man chased me down filming me and yelling at me. Two people from a bar next door had to come out and ask this MANAGER to stop harassing me and to leave to which he thankfully did after being asked three times. Do not go to this place it was cheap to get my window fixed but now I have more damage to my car than before and they do not take any responsibility for their workers. Don't let looks deceive you. I was a bit skeptical about it being a house but they are literally OUTSTANDING!! Customer service was amazing and friendly and they got me in the same day. They were able to repair my rock chip very quickly and they cleaned my window too!! 🥰 They are highly-qualified and professional! I definitely recommend! (4 before photos; 2 after photo included) Side note to include: I've had rock chips before and a broken window. Been to several places and over the years I've learned that when the rock chip is deep enough and causes small cracks, it will be impossible to fully repair. They can prevent it from cracking further and they can make it less noticeable but you'll never be able to fully get rid of a rock chip that is really severe. I'm very pleased with the results of my repair considering the rock chip was very large.

Their tech came out last week to replace a window and ended up not only damaging my side door while fumbling about trying to gain access as though he had no idea what he was doing (after the mgmt. later told me this tech has over 10 years exp) he was cursing at me and calling me names in Spanish throughout service, only for me to get gaslighted by said mgmt. upon reporting the damage and abuse. They sent out a man and woman to do service last week and neither of them spoke a bit of English, but I used Google Translate to get through the continual issues during the service. The tech ignored my attempts at communication, and simply grew more hostile as a result instead. The tech barked at and berated the lady with him the entire time, while rattling off insults at me in Spanish each time I attempted to communicate with him about things such as drilling out the mounting rivets holding my door speaker in place, only to scoff and mock me when I communicated with him that the speaker would need to be mounted again after the work. I reported to his manager that he drilled the speaker out only to react as mentioned, and then plunk a single bolt into one of the 4 mounting brackets in the speaker, leaving it buzzing and rattling afterwards. The end result has been continual gaslighting by a manager who calls himself Albert, and has actually replied in email that the tech has denied my claims and therefore none of this is true. Also to reply that drilling out rivets is standard practice for this work - with no response about the tech damaging and half-assing putting my speaker back into proper mounting after said work. These people have shown to be not only dishonest, but unskilled at best, and unwilling to compensate for their shoddy work, even with footage and photos taken during the process. Do not go to these people for service. If nothing else, go to Safelite, schedule an appt - cancel it if unsure, and then you will be given the option to drop $100 off their rate if you choose to accept their good work. I recommend this over using Five Star Glass, as they are demonstrably unreliable and untrustworthy.
