I have a 2022 Honda Civic that had to have a new windshield after a rock hit the windshield. I contacted my insurance agent and contacted my brother n law who is the parts manager at Duval Honda. Everyone took great care of me. Within hours, Grif one of the owners, called me and was setting up details for my replacement windshield. A few day later, Donny the other owner of the business came to my job and replaced my windshield on site. I walked outside before it was completed, and talked to him a little. Very nice man and cares 100% about his job. Also there is a body shop beside me and the owner got Donnys business card and said he was going to start using him for all his windshield work. I have a 2018 Toyota Highlander (Limited), and my insurance refused to cover replacing the windshield with an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) glass, opting for aftermarket glass. He tried to get an OEM glass, but unfortunately, the OEM glass for my SUV was out of stock nationwide. I contacted all the local Toyota dealers and Toyota’s official online parts website to see if there was any availability, and they all confirmed what Grif told me. The wait time to order the OEM glass was at least a couple of months. Since the OEM glass wasn’t available, Grif said he could get the best alternative glass for my SUV, which was a glass made by the same company that made the original windshield. Although it wasn’t OEM, at least it was made by the same company. I verified this by comparing the information stamped on the original and replacement windshields. Dan, the technician who replaced my windshield, was super knowledgeable and thorough. He took apart and put back all the parts around the windshield with ease, which was a testimony of his proficiency. He made sure the areas around the windshield were clean, both inside and outside the vehicle. When he was done, he gave me plenty of time to check everything out and made sure I was completely happy with his work. After the windshield was replaced, Grif performed a recalibration procedure of my Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). He provided me with a pre-scan and post-scan report for my records, which shows his commitment to ensure everything was done right. On the day of the exchange I wasn't at home and there was no one who could be so I left my money and my car keys so they could make the exchange. Very satisfied with the outcome of my wind shield replaced and recalibrated. Didn’t need to drive all the way to my dealership. Mr.Grif the owner of First coast mobile glass is so professional, friendly at the same time, very attentive to details, and flexible especially to his customers. I found this company as my bestfriend had his done with this company last year and he said i don’t need to worry since it will be a smooth transaction/process. Mr.Grif will do everything you just have to be present during his call and you just need to answer, that’s it. Last time i had my windshield replaced in my dealership, had to schedule appointment with the dealership, they made me talk to the 3rd party who’s affiliated with them who does windshield and made me talk to my insurance.
