Discount Auto Glass

This place is a nightmare. a proverbial "Penny wise Pound foolish" establishment. They replaced the windshield on my vehicle. A week later, the rubber protection that held the windshield in place flew off while I was driving on the freeway thereby exposing just the wind shield without protection. I took it back to them so that they can fix their error, the owner of this place was obnoxious and unscrupulously in denial and would not fix the shoddy work he did. Needless to say, I had to take it to another wind shield establishment with the professional experience and they were able to fix it properly with additional cost to me.

I searched for a reliable auto glass repair shop that could cater to their needs, and Discount Auto Glass truly delivered. The team was friendly, professional, and understanding, making sure my friend felt comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire process. They did an outstanding job, and I'm so grateful I found them. I highly recommend Discount Auto Glass to anyone looking for top-notch service, especially for those who may need extra assistance.

Fast and inexpensive.... isn't that what we want? The owner is direct but friendly and the waiting area has a couch and chairs and a large TV. But it industrial and the toilet is primarily for the workers.... so grease stains in the sink and a toilet where you have to pull on cord that no longer works from the handle .... not ideal but it works. We were told to wait 3 days before wetting the window so I can't test the work but it looks very well done. I drive a Mazda and they had the windshield in stock so the whole process took just over an hour... which was great as I was heading back to the bay area and this was Bakersfield. X

Lies and does not back his work we went back after we looked at our windshield repair he put masking tape around the edges of the windshield so that it would hide the errors of the gaps in the windshield that he left there along with a massive amount of adhesive around the edges of the window and the sides of the frame when we went back to try to get him to either fix it or get the money back he started getting aggressive and saying that we tampered with the work that he had done or that somebody else that we had do a second look at it had messed with it and that we should take it back to him to fix it because he wasn't going to fix the problem there are gaps in the windshield and the frame where there should not be any gaps it just shows what kind of workmanship he really has this is a joke that he charges $140 to replace your windshield and then doesn't even honor his work and his mistakes. If anyone else has had this problem share to the others know!!!!!

Got a good price when i called in ... Went to get window fixed.. the workers were nice but the owner raised price saying, he had to order the right window when i was told he already had it ..Which is why i went.. then said , its not the year i think it is.. which is a lie.. then said the window i need is $400 but he'll actually just give me a good deal which was a scam actually.. so he told me in order for him to order part he needs a deposit and when i said I'll come back another day he wasnt happy bout it . Didnt say bye .. was very rude.. whole time he acted like he could play me stupid talking bout things bout window but i seen right thru him and am not ever going to this place . Don't get tricked out of more money or scammed! Dont go here.. the people that put good reviews have no idea they got scammed.. trust me they have better services else where . Shop around save ur money on a shop thats honest n reasonable this one aint it!!!

Think twice before heading here, ask about their warranty and have it in writing because they do not honor their word. Had a front windshield replaced here and leaving this place I can hear a whistle sound coming from the bottom as if the windshield was not properly sealed. Just got this replaced for $360, I thought I’ll wait to see if maybe it just needs to dry as my car was parked I watched it crack exactly from the spot I heard air coming in from. This is only not even 2 weeks later and my windshield is shattered. I immediately took it back to the shop and the owner looked at the glass and using a tool in his hand was tapping on the windshield adding to the shatter I asked him to stop that he’s adding damage and then began to say that’s a rock damage not from wrong installation. I disputed with him that’s due to wrong installation. He was not going to honor the warranty. I really dislike people who take advantage of customers. It’s really disappointing that there is bad business owners who take advantage of people like this. I really hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Very disappointing
