I was going to my little incident with them go until I found out they lied. I had cracks in my windshield and didn’t want to take my truck to Safelite because they had bad reviews about problems with recalibrating vehicles with safety systems, so I looked for other places and found Danny’s, who came with positive reviews. When I called to make the appointment, I specifically asked multiple times if they would have a problem doing the recalibration because otherwise I would continue to look elsewhere. They assured me that they have done recalibrations on my kind of SUV and that it wouldn’t be a problem. I had to put my appointment off for two weeks because they person who does recalibrations for that location is only there certain days. Lo and behold, I get there and - you guess it- they can’t do it. Supposedly there was some kind of code that they couldn’t bypass and ONLY the dealership could do it. I was told I would have to pay out of pocket and then I would be reimbursed through insurance. Needless to say, I was super annoyed because I asked them about this issue BEFORE I even made the appointment and I felt this was something they knew ahead of time. However they had already taken the windshield out so I couldn’t take my truck back Shortly after my repair, I got an email from my insurance company offering the recalibration for free through Safelite; and they ironically did it without a problem. After that Danny’s had the audacity to call me and ask for the last few digits of my VIN number so that they could get paid for my repair about a week after the appointment , as if their incompetent business practices had not been on full display already. They had the truck, knew what they needed; and then called the me- customer they lied to for the information. I think it goes without saying that I would drive without a windshield before I take my vehicle to them ever again. They couldn’t even work on my daughter’s Barbie car. Thanks, but no thanks.

Don't use Danny's Glass Williamsburg. First off, they did finally make it right. So, three weeks ago my daughter needed the windshield replaced in her vehicle. We have used Danny's glass in Gloucester for over 20 years with perfect service. Apparently not the same attention to detail in Williamsburg office. I know things happen, the technician broke a clip replacing windshield. Did he inform us of the incident, no the technician intentionally hid the issue and try to hide with gobs of silicone. Obviously, didn't work. So we took vehicle back for them to order and fix it the proper way. We'll, next issue, wrong part came in. Not sure who's fault, Danny's glass or dealership. Either way, we didn't know because they never called to explain why the delay. I had to call to ask, "where's the clip?" "Oh we got the wrong one will have to reorder ". Again, things happen. Where was the courtesy call to keep us informed. Then they also initially wanted us to bring vehicle back in to get fixed. I said no, you broke it and tried to hide it. You can come out and fix on location. Which they did. This review would have been totally different if the Williamsburg Danny's Glass would have been honest, transparent and communicative throughout process. All in all it took 3 weeks to get a windshield correctly replaced on my daughter's vehicle. Completely unsatisfactory. Sad thing is this hurts all Danny's Glass stores.ServicesAuto windshield replacement

Needed a sweep for my glass shower door. After going to Home Depot, Lowes and Ferguson with no help, I was referred to Danny’s. Because the shower is a little unique, they worked with me to ask all the right questions , look at pictures, offer solutions, etc. all to sell me a $12.95 piece of plastic sweep. The customer service was A+ and Kelly at the Williamsburg office was awesome!! Would not hesitate to count on them when I’m ready to do some more serious work!

I had a crack in my windshield that was to the point in needed replaced. After calling around a few places I went with Danny's. The office helped me get the ball rolling with my insurance, they were quick to schedule me, and the repair was done timely and proffesionally. Although exactly 1 week later a rock hit my brand new windshield and chipped it. Oh well, that's life. I would definitely return to Danny's for future repairs.

Had an excellent experience getting my windshield replaced with Danny's Auto Glass & Mirror. I had a crack in my windshield that kept growing every time I took my car out so I needed it repaired ASAP - I called before 9:00 AM and they had an appointment booked for me at 1:00 PM. They even did a conference call with my insurance company to verify the insurance details. Very fast, friendly, and fair service!PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Recently had my windshield replaced, the company was helpful and worked with me to source desired glass manufacturer. After I arrived home I noticed the "30 min urethane" adhesive was still wet and smeared up and down the car paint in the side groves of the windshield. I also found the rear view mirror to have wires hanging out of the headliner and not properly concealed after reinstallation on the new windshield. The interior dash was covered in dirt & debri after delivery. The wet urethane was quite concerning, the drive away time is no joke and should be properly followed. Modern cars use the windshield as a "backsplash" when deploying the passenger airbag. If you are allowed to leave with wet urethane and you get in an accident your windshield could be popped out of the frame and the airbag could deploy improperly. Very friendly staff but with a lack of attention to detail unfortunately.
