Affordable Auto Glass

Met up with Antolin to install the glass at some random body shop but they had ordered the wrong model year so he told me to follow him and drive 19 miles to pick up the glass and get it installed. He drove like a maniac speeding and constantly switching lanes making it hard to keep up, in one instance he was going really fast and I was trying to catch up when he suddenly switched lanes and the person in front was stopped and I slammed on the brakes almost getting into an accident because of him and his terrible driving. Also his right rear light was not working. Aside from this, the moment we met up I asked how much it would cost and he asked if I was paying in cash or with a card and I said card, he then called the office and told me $145, then when I went to pay he said $155 I told him he said $145 at first so he told me it's a processing fee, this dude knew I was paying with a card but didn't tell me the actual total. All this bullsh*t and not even a discount or anything for a tiny little vent/quarter glass.

I was referred to Affordable Auto Glass by my Land Rover dealership, and I am extremely satisfied with their service. The staff at Affordable Auto Glass guided me through the complex insurance process for my cracked windshield. Thanks to their assistance, my insurance company approved the replacement with full coverage and no deductible. The technicians were courteous, efficient, and professional, and they did an excellent job installing the new windshield. A few days later, I received a notice from my insurance company stating that I now had a deductible, which contradicted their initial approval. However, Yaneth, an employee at Affordable Auto Glass, went above and beyond by arranging a three-way call with the insurance company to dispute the deductible. As a result, I ended up paying no deductible at all. I truly appreciate the support and excellent service from Affordable Auto Glass. Thank you!

I will start with the good stuff. It was very easy to communicate with the company and who I believe is the owner. He even called me on a holiday and was very personable. The price to replace the rear window on my BMW was about $150 less than what Safelite was charging me. I parked under the avocado tree in my yard and unfortunately a huge one fell and obliterated my rear window. Affordable Auto Glass sent a technician out to my home a day later. His name was Manuel. He spoke enough English to get the job done and was quite efficient. He worked pretty quickly. I gave him a few of the large avocados from my tree to take with him. Okay, here comes the disappointing part. About an hour after the installation was complete, I got in my car and drove to pick up my son from school. About two blocks down the road, my brake light began to separate from the rear window. I took a picture and sent it to the owner. He responded immediately and told me to bring the car to the shop and they would fix it. I agreed. No big deal. He was very amenable. About a mile later, the brake light completely fell off of the window and began hanging loosely from a wire, swinging back and forth. The shop was closed by the time I picked up my son. So, I went the next day. Three men came out to my car and "fixed" the light. I thanked them and went on my way. Again, less than 4 blocks down the road, the light fell off the window completely. I took another picture and sent it to the owner. But this time, HE DID NOT RESPOND. He hasn't responded 'til this day! I truly hate to leave this bad review but people depend on honest reviews when choosing where to support a business. Now, I'm going to have to pay someone to fix something that Affordable Auto Glass was paid to take care of. Or, I'm going to have to try to fix it myself with crazy glue or something. I am very sad and disappointed. I expected so much from them due to how kind the owner was before he began ignoring my messages. Overall, the service was affordable and swift. However, it was not thorough and a lot of glass was left EVERYWHERE in my vehicle. Including the trunk. I could not recommend this company with a clear conscience. But if you do decide to use the, I suggest you MAKE SURE the work is completed properly before paying. Good luck!

I would never recommend this place to anyone, they came to my house to change the windshield on my new truck that was only 4 months old because it was broken by a rock on the highway, the next day after they changed it it was soaked with water, I called and had to go to the place where they work and spent 3 hours waiting for the man who helped me to get instructions on how to fix the glass, a week later I still have leaks in my glass with my truck and the carpet with a smell that I can't even be inside and they still haven't given me an answer as to when I can go, and that day I could see that there were several clients with the same problem, learn how to place glass first before offering the service!!!!!

Called to schedule and appointment and inquired about the cost difference between OEM and aftermarket glass. The receptionist advised that they'd use aftermarket glass but it would be OE quality so no sense in paying an additional $241 for OEM. I agreed to this and scheduled my appointment. Once the installers came they immediately went to work and installed an OEM windshield and then presented me with a $241 bill to to my surprise. This was never discussed or requested. Spoke w/ the owner on the phone and said there was nothing he could do and that it was an a miscommunication but the glass was already installed. I don't think the customer should be held liable for an internal miscommunication. If there was a price difference installing aftermarket $0 and OEM $241 then they should have presented that up front prior to doing any work. Would not recommend based on this alone. Don't bait your customers.
