Went here on 3 different occasions because they use good replacements glass. Very sloppy work all 3 times. Had my rear passenger glass replaced. They left glass on my child’s car seat and on the floor. The window makes a weird sound when opening now. On another occasion the windshield seals were not put back correctly and the vin number was not placed back where it should be. The receptionist was very nice and she was accommodating. I had to replace my windshield, it had a crack, and I had just been informed by my insurance company that I didn't have glass coverage. Regardless it had to be replaced. I was told by the insurance company that i should go to Safelite and since I wasn't covered that the I would be responsible for the cost, the quote from safelite was $460, that was crazy so i told my insurance that I was going to get my own quotes from other places. I found Active Auto Glass and then when speaking with a friend, he mentioned, he had used them before and the price and service was excellent. I called, got a quote, which was almost half the price that I was quoted from Safelite which was recommended by my Insurance company. I called, was quoted over the phone and had an appointment for the next morning. They also would have come to me but i wanted to see their shop and since i was close to East Meadow. I was impressed with not only the service but the attitude of everyone that I spoke to. James asked me into the back and to look at some issues that were the result of a previous replacement and mentioned to me that he would correct any problems and I would be good to go. i was originally told that it would take about two hours and I was out of there in two hours. I highly recommend Active Auto glass and found them the be professional and knowledgeable. I don't think that people realize that you do not need to use who your insurance company always recommends.

After searching around to find a shop to replace one of my door glass, I stumbled upon Active Auto Glass. My experience with James and his staff has been beyond words. From calling to see if they can fit me in in 30 minutes from the call on the same day to the end of service. Couldn’t have been more grateful to have had a chat with James while he was installing my window and the knowledge that he has with auto glass and his experience is not something you find a lot here in New York. This shop did amazing work, I installed a a cowl in my 1970 cadillac deville. They dont make reproductions for this car so it was a chopped up 1969 Camaro cowl that I pieced together with other sheet metal. It wasnt perfect but it was close. They were able to fix the gasket area a little and install a windshield. Happened fast and they did a great job. Will recommend and will go back if and when I need glass

I have to tell you that the costumer service here is amazing, from the beginning when I placed a call they were very absolutely helpful, I got a broken car window and it never happened to me before, I didn’t have any idea of what to do, but they walked me through the whole process, they were also patient we got the claim done and the day they replaced the glass it took like 15 mins. Omg I couldn’t even believe it. It took over 3 weeks for 1 screen to be repaired. We live behind this store and thought it would be convenient. My husband brought the screen over and was told the person who fixed them was out but they would work on it when they got back beginning of next week. They never called to say the screen was ready. They gave my husband a hard time when he went in to inquire about it like I he was bothering them. Said if he wasn't called, it wasn't done. (Btw it was done). Then there was a phone call from the owner asking the employee if she was ok. Minute after he started conversing with her. My husband is even tempered, laid back, and non confrontational. I guess the owner saw he was biracial on the camera, and that apparently made him scared for the female employees' safety. (He could hear the whole conversation) Oh, by the way, my husband works for Suffolk County jail system she was probably safer with him in there. We will drive elsewhere the next time we need a screen fixed or buy the materials online and do it ourselves next time since it isn't thay hard. Good customer service goes a long way. Unfortunately, that's not what we received here. Very unfortunate.
