Diamond Auto Glass

Don’t recommend. I just spent almost $700 for absolutely nothing. I went for window tinting & UV blocking on the glass. I was told it blocks out the heat too. I needed the sun to stop shining in my eyes bc I’m prone to unbearable headaches. I still get sunburnt while driving, my eyes and head hurt from the sun, all the same as before. My car is still an oven when I get in it too. There’s no difference in the darkness on my windows. BIG WASTE OF MONEY— and time! Don’t bother. Oh, and someone needs to teach the kid who answers the phone to stop mumbling & to give accurate information. The call scheduling this was so aggravating, had to keep asking him to speak clearly & re-explaining what I was asking for. I almost hung up. I was told a certain price on the phone when I made the appt. I was also told it would be 90 mins. When I get there, oh just kidding it’ll actually be 3 hours and significantly higher price because he had no idea what he was talking about. It really messed up my whole day. I work 3 jobs. I rarely get “free time” to do something like this. I had to arrange my entire week around getting this done. Then come to find out, it was a complete waste of time & money. I had to cancel 2 other commitments I made that day bc of the false time frame I was expecting. I wish I could get a refund or talk to the owner, because this was truly the biggest disappointment purchase I ever made. Look at how they left my back window. Who did this job? Raccoons??? We made an appointment to have our windows tinted on our Tacoma. When calling around I felt the customer service was very consistent and informative. We wanted the ceramic tinting plus at a legal level. We recently visited Phoenix and the tint was incredible against the heat, and we didn’t have the AC running super high. Super impressive! Note: I did notice a few bubbles and peeling seven days after the installation and no we didn’t roll the windows down during that time. I called and without hesitation, they’re on it. With that being said, we are having our front windshield replaced too. We have Progressive Insurance and we didn’t want to go through their vendor(too many issues), and Diamond Auto was happy to arrange that with our policy and agent. UPDATE (May 2025): Later another crack in our windshield...again they did a excellent job! Now, our other truck is being done at Diamond Auto, the windshield from the Progressive vendor had a major defect, and poor first install, they wouldn't replace it after two installations. I am a huge fan Diamond Auto, and the team if very trustworthy.

The expected experience from the local favorites! Very happy to see that USAA insurance had this outfit as one of the options for a direct-pay claim besides the default of Safelite (so no pay for it, then get reimbursed and have to fight over amount). I showed up 15 minutes late to our appointment because of crummy work obligations and they had the new glass installed before I could even get a ride home and back. Admittedly I have a common make/model of truck but as a former dealer tech in town I was stoked getting my keys back from both the speed and quality of work. Not a single 25 year old trim piece cracked, no wind noise or leaks to speak of. Never take that for granted! I've seen some leaky brand new windshields on used car inspections at the 'ship and they're almost always by fly-by-night companies or "a guy who knows a guy". Even if I was paying out of pocket, I'd take any of my vehicles back for new glass. I'm getting too old to try and put in new windows. Trust locals if locals trust it!

So grateful for Stuart and Diamond Auto glass. I cannot speak to the quality of work, but I can say they are helpful and honest!! I left work to find my back window completely busted out, which was obviously super stressful. I called around and it was hard to get info, as it was after hours. Stuart took my call, even though it was late, and assured me he could help when he was back in the office the next morning. I called right after 8am and he remembered me right away. His quote was great, but he was fully transparent that he wouldn't be able to work on my vehicle until after the holiday weekend. He could have left it there, but instead, made a recommendation of another company that may be able to help me, and they did! Rather than keep me waiting to retain my business, he opted to send me elsewhere to get the help I needed faster. He was so friendly and helpful, and I would 100% go here if I ever need glass work again.

We had a refreshingly happy experience at Diamond Auto Glass. While driving across the country, we caught a rock which left a chip in the windshield, and wanted to take care of it quickly before it spread. We pulled in to see when they would be able to fill the chip, and Steve and Eric said to “just a shut off the engine, and we’ll do it right now.” That was the first bit of good news, but the price was the second. Way less than we expected and when we found a second chip, they filled that one for us too. What would usually be a dreaded experience was completely friendly and pleasant. We were driving away 10 minutes after we arrived. I’m happy to recommend this shop as they did us right.

Descrete location on Fourth marked by the sign on the side of a truck---My car windshield suddenly cracked due to radical temperature shift from below freezing to warm. Diamond Auto Glass provided a quick estimate and appointment over the phone. By the way, unlike other stores, the estimate included tax, which prevented tax shock at the register later. I was told the job would take 1 1/2 - 2 hours, but after a 40- minutes in a comfortable waiting area, my new windshield was installed! Great staff provides efficient and polite service at a reasonable price.

I liked how helpful and friendly they were to help me schedule my appointment and even helped with insurance claim. They were all very friendly in shop as well. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I was told that it would take about an hour for the job to be completed. I left and came back in an hour and my car was just being taken back to be fixed. I get that sometimes things get busy but I appreciate clear communication about timing especially since I have a toddler. I would go back again if I needed window repair.

Born and raised here in AZ and a member of the military and community for over 18 years , I highly don't recommend this company. If u choose to risk it, make sure to take pics of all your windows before going in. They will man handle your window and crack them, then blaming you for their mistakes. The owner is very unprofessional and volger to the point of harassment. When you ask for verification of what happened he will tell you to get the heck out of his shop.

I arrived an hour early people are friendly and courteous prices were beyond reasonable. I had tent removed off passenger and driver side window. I was shocked that it was only $30 if anybody has problems with their windows or needs a good tent job I would guarantee this place is a place to go. I am no longer blind driving my 4runner anymore. Didn’t take them less than 15 minutes to remove my tint. and I’m from out of town they’re worth five stars any day

Wow! I was scheduled for service the same day I called. I opted to go to the shop for service and was told that it would take about an hour, an hour and a half at the most, this was for a windshield replacement. I was in and out in 30 minutes! The service was top notch. It was just completed today, but I don't anticipate that I will have any issues. I hope not to need their service again, but if I do I will go back for sure.
