Denali Auto Glass Replacement

UPDATE: my Scuba-roo had another 2 rock chips/highway bullet holes filled by the awesome folks at denali auto glass since my last review. When I initially booked my second appointment, I only had 1 rock chip for which they had me scheduled to fill in less than 48 hours (the delay was the result of my work schedule, not theirs) SO EXCITED! But then; sadly, I suffered a 2nd rock vs windshield assault on the way to my appointment to repair the one I already had... ugh...so I tell them this when I checked in...no problem...within 20 minutes of my scheduled appointment time not only had they filled my initial rock chip but also the second offender that attacked my windshield on the way to see them repaired too! Once again... I am blown away! These guys are awesome! Original review: I am super happy with and impressed by the service I received at Denali Auto Glass! My husband and I are originally from Kodiak and are not really used to living in a place where your windshield becomes little more than a bullet proof vest in the winter... that said one of our vehicles currently has a spider web of cracks resulting from rock chips we ignored... shame on us. When our new vehicle got its first rock chip, I called Denali at the recommendation of my Mother in Law. They had me scheduled in for an appointment within 48 hours! Awesome! Then... they told me the estimated wait time would be 30-40 minutes... I was out in less than 20! BUT WAIT, THERES MORE! My rock chip repair was even less than initially quoted because of the referral by my MIL. Needless to say... these folks go above and beyond in taking care of their customers, even if its your first time visiting them. Their location can be hard to find, but I promise you.... it is worth it!

Denali Auto Glass is a very professional and honest business to take a vehicle for a well done and quick repair needed on your vehicle. The customer service is great. The owners are very honest people. They don't try to sabotage you to get the most money out of you as a customer. They take care of the problem and nothing added, if not needed. In my scenario my 2010 Ford Fusion's driver-side window had fallen into my door panel during the cold month of January. So I needed a quick and properly done repair fast. I was recommend to Denali Auto Glass by a employee at Auto Zone and decided to give them a call. They were able to give me a quote over the phone and also were able to get me in the same day for the repair. I had gotten the vehicle diagnosed at Midas and they told me I needed to replace the window motor and cable with a ridiculous quote for the repair. When I got to Denali Auto Glass I didn't have to wait at all they were able to get right to me. They took care of my fallen window in my door panel in a timely manner and also had great news for me after the repair. They let me know that my window motor was completely fine and the part I bought I could return back to Auto Zone. I was very grateful and satisfied with the job done on my vehicle. I ended up saving well over 40 % percent of what Midas wanted to charge me for the repair. They were very honest with me at Denali Auto Glass because they could easily kept my window motor knowing that I didn't need to have it replaced or could of easily charged me for the labor. I highly do recommend this business to any individual who is in need of a very professional and honest auto glass repair.

I have yet to buy the windshield I called about, but the other guys wont even pick up the phone just a machine letteraly telling me it's smart AI and tell's me to go to the website... These folks pick up the phone and answer questions quickly and professionally and Amanda is phenomenal (to lose her would be tragic, fyi, ceo, raise in order). I went to the other guy's web site as AI said was the perfect solution for me and it claimed a rate that was WAY TOO LOW to be right... So as I expected I need something smarter to talk to so I call again and you can't ask for customer service it tells you it is smart, lol, but it needs to know more??? You don't need to know S___! I would have to lie to get a human on the phone. Who want's to have to lie to anything just to get help? Amanda told me the actual price for the windshield from the only windshield company still producing windshields for this old beast of a car. The price of the windshield alone is more than what the OH SO SMART system the other guys forced me to use said it was. In closing, when the small bits of damage become large bits of cracked windshield. I will be updating this review as I will be having these folks fix me up. With the help and friendly service I got today as a random guy calling in asking if they have access to my replacement, I can imagine the smiles and help when you are about to swipe a card! First time I've had to get my windshield replaced. When calling and doing price comparisons Amanda that answered the phone at Denali blew it above and beyond with her bubbly personality, was super helpful...AND honest. The price was way better than other places once the other places hidden fees were shown. Amanda was very honest that I may need a little more and how much that little more could cost. Now! Appointment day. They got my car in right away. Amanda was as nice in person as she was on the phone...she said it would take about an hour from start to finish..it only took 41 minutes! She went over new windshield aftercare, and I was able to make it to my job on time in the morning. They're locally owned, professional and for those who care they as stayed open during covid and treat the cars like patients in a hospital. Sanitizing before and after it's awesome. I'll definitely come back for any problems with my glass, and I'll be recommending them to others as well. Thanks for your awesome customer service!

I would have given a five star review but after driving away and going to use my re view mirror I noticed that the left side of my mirror had clam shell fractures all along the edge from top to bottom. Blaming others for my misfortune isn’t any part of my world as a human being. When i phoned the lady at the desk about what had happened she said it was like that before i brought it in and that would be impossible to happen during there removal and installation. The fact is it did happen in there shop. I thought I had written a review about this business, but apparently not, and I do not want to miss the opportunity to rave about the service we received from these guys. EXCELLENT customer service is all I can say. I had called in so many different places to get a quote on a glass replacement and prices on all that I had called were to the roof. Denali has the best price in town. The lady who was answering the phone advised me to buy the glass from the dealership instead of them, as it would be the cheapest way to do it. Then they did the labor. All in all, it cost me about $200 less than what it would've had I gone elsewhere. THANK YOU!

I just moved to Alaska a couple months ago and didn’t realize how many rocks would actually hit my windshield! Of course I panicked. I called Subaru to see what I needed to do to fix my brand new 2020 windshield with a chip/slit in my windshield. They HIGHLY recommended Denali Auto Glass. I made an appointment and was in and out sooo quickly! They were VERY reassuring and so helpful for tips. Also, the couple I worked with was so sweet! Maaaan, this place saved the day. The receptionist was so kind and so helpful. Squeezed me in for a same-day after i had waited 10 days to be seen at safelite just for them to tell me they can't do it because of a code that wasn't there for anyone else's scanner. Never take your auto glass business to safelite, I will always choose these guys, now. Smaller, local shop instead of corporate headaches. Even my subaru dealership warned me that safelite are the only ones who ever have issues and that these guys are the ones to see! Thanks a lot, Denali Auto Glass!

Amanda was so professional, yet genuinely friendly and accommodating! She helped me schedule to get my windshield replaced that worked for me, and her husband and their employee did an amazing job installing the new windshield in a short hour! I also received clear instructions on what to do for the next 24 hours after installation, and drove home with my new windshield, feeling happy and confident with the results! Honest and professional at a great price! I was getting water inside the cab of my truck. Was told by Continental Nissan that my windshield was leaking so after calling around and finding these guys had the best price I scheduled my appointment. After getting there, they quickly discovered that my windshield seal was perfectly fine, they investigated further to find my 3rd brake light/cargo light was the culprit, put in a new seal for me and sent me on my way. Most honest shop I have dealt with in Anchorage in 5 years!!
